My 1984 U.S. Army Airborne School Jump Week injuries just got worse over four decades. I suffered a crash-and-burn landing during the required Night Jump. I have military neck, which means I've lost the natural curve of my cervical spine. This causes all kinds of issues. Through adjustments and x-rays, I was well on my way to address my nine neck and back conditions. Try to stay positive. This is indeed a deliberate and proven process that takes time and your committment. The atmosphere here is uplifting! The doctors take whatever time is necessary to address your question and concerns. I feel as though I'm speaking with my friends when there. I'm sticking with this office, go to StretchLab, and see an acupuncturist every week. This combination works for my body. I highly recommend this practice for all your chiropractic needs. I don't think they care about me--I know they care about my health and me! To your better health! Best wishes, Ted

Like a couple other reviews have said, they're like car salesman…read more I went in for the first time cause of some back pain, so I was hoping to get an x-ray to make sure it wasn't anything drastic. I was told that the x-ray would be a $47 "patient special." I went in, talked with one of the chiropractors about what I was dealing with and took some x-rays. Went back a couple days later to take a look at them. It wasn't anything too serious but they proposed a "treatment plan" that was just for me. They gave me 3 different prices that ranged from 900-1200. The prices were dependent on the payment method. If I payed it all upfront it would have been the cheapest price, monthly was in between and then per session was the highest price ($25 per session). It was a lot of money to consider so I wanted to take a day or so to think about it. I said this but they continued as if I had agreed to go through with the whole plan and that I could decide how to pay next time. I then got what I thought was a trial run of the treatment that consisted of a 5 mins massage and then another 5 mins laying on a massage table machine. Afterwards I tried relaying that I wasn't sure about the treatment and that I wanted time to think about it, but the respond I kept getting was "you can decide that next time you're in on how to pay." I was running late for work so I kind of gave up and left. I called back a couple days later and told them I wasn't going to go through with it and the receptionist put the owner on to try and talk me out. He tried to guilt/pressure me but it didn't matter, it was out of my budget. The next week I get a call from the office saying I owe them $25 for the first session that I wasn't even aware of that they charged for. At no point did anybody mention that my 10 min session after going in to look at my x-rays would be charged. They said it was explained to me, I said it wasn't...he said she said. I have no clue if the treatment works, maybe it does but just be aware of the hidden charges and pushy sales tactics of this place.

As I sat down, waiting to be called back, I noticed an underwater beach scene playing on the television. The water was clear and you could see fish. This is the closest to snorkeling that I will come. It was very pleasant imagery with soft ocean sounds. So soothing to the eyes and ears. The sound was broken by my name being called to go back. I went to the back and was asked my name and birthdate as well as a series of body medal related questions. I was given a room to change in as well as a key to lock the door. After I put on my gown it was off to the X-ray room where I was given earplugs and instructed to lay on my back on a table. A pillow was placed under my legs and what felt like a head brace was placed on my head to keep my head still. I was then inserted into what looked like a giant white tube. The test lasted about 45 minutes. While I was in the tube I heard a series of banging noises as well as what seemed like energy passing around me. After the test was done I changed my clothes and went back to the waiting room to pay my co-pay as well as receive my disc and receipt. The staff was really nice and informative. I recommend this location and would go back if I needed to.

The results under her guidance are far superior to other PT experiences I've had. After total knee replacement, Monique, and as well Mr. Ho, encouraged and marshaled the enormous confidence and motivation required to get off the walker and cane. In only four weeks they added 70 degrees range of motion to the knee, which led to crucial cancellation of an imminent second operation to remove scar tissue. Without their advanced therapies, patience, and encyclopedic knowledge I would have ended up back in an OR, or worse. I will be grateful to Monique and Mr. Ho for the rest of my life. Thank you SPORTS.

The office was recommended by an urgent care center when my son had a minor skin allergy. We made an appointment in the office located at Laurel. A doctor told my son they need to check his blood for drawing. They sent me a bill charging $201 for only a blood drawing without any checks? We have HDHP health insurance, but the office costs too much. In the next appointment, we tried another office at Greenbelt, and they told my son to redraw his blood again. What's the fuck why they need too many blodds? Until now, the offices have not checked my son's skin, and they have instructed him to schedule a third appointment via telemedicine, which he does not require a physical visit. The offices are joking with patients and delaying, wasting our time. My son's skin is looking better without them, and we no longer need to revisit the office. We can visit any Labcorp center to check our blood without any additional fees.

I am updating the review because the office manager called me and rectified the surprise-billing…read moresituation and even refunded my son, I am very thankful for her. The accounts receivable staff employee had a problem properly informing patients, my son ASKED numerous times about it before he started and after he started and he got blown off, he really did, and did not receive anything but an unitemized bill via email for $1,000+ WEEKS later, newly out-of-network, my son was left uninformed after repeatedly asking and getting surprise billing w/out itemized bill, that's pretty terrible, and accounts receivable staff employee had a hostility that my son couldn't work with and that's when I got involved for him. I was very unhappy w/dealing with the accounts receivable staff employee at Break Away, she was smarmy, had a nasty attitude, like you could hear her rolling her eyes over the phone kinda character, she was not truthful about what she didn't do, and it was infuriating - she told me, all attitudey, that she sent my son itemized bill like my son was wrong, when I inquired w/my son about it, he double-checked and she did not do that until I left unfavorable review.. the office manager called me and told me how she realized it was unacceptable to be charged like my son had been and refunded. If you have a problem, contact the office manager. but that staff accounts receivable employee needs some schooling because she was 1) hard to contact 2) unapproachable and 3) untruthful, patients don't want that, they don't need that, thank goodness for the office manager. I did find the out-of-network cost for Break Away to be ridiculously expensive though...

There were no openings at any of the MinuteClinics and walk-in waits were upwards of 1 hour. I looked around and Yelp helped me find this clinic. I've been to this shopping center hundreds of times and obliviously missed that this exists, maybe because nowhere in the signage does it say "Urgent Care". There were only a few patients on a Sunday afternoon, and I was checked in right away by a friendly young male staff who had the normal requests for information, ID, insurance, and signatures on disclaimers too long to read. A cordial and helpful doctor's assistant took my vitals, led me to a patient room, and a PA-C came in within minutes to do an assessment. The entire visit was under 30 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised how fast, courteous, and professional everyone was and how convenient this facility is. The cost of the visit and tests will of course vary based on your insurance plan, but luckily it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I hope to not have a need to visit again for illness but if I had to pick a place for such a need I would choose this one.
