We traveled from Bethesda to MedStar Washington Hospital Center expecting to receive the care we had arranged. Instead, I was told that I no longer had an appointment because I had supposedly been "dismissed from the practice" due to an alleged incident in 2016, ten years before my scheduled appointment. I had never been notified of this alleged dismissal. No one could tell me what the incident was, who made the decision, why it was made, or provide any documentation or explanation. I learned of my supposed dismissal only after arriving for my appointment. If a medical practice decides to dismiss a patient, there are generally accepted practices intended to ensure the patient is informed and has an opportunity to obtain care elsewhere. Based on my experience, those standards were not followed. The situation became even more troubling when my husband, who had his own valid appointment, respectfully questioned what had happened. Shortly afterward, Dr. Kurzrok personally informed him that he also would not be seen. As a result, neither of us received the care we had scheduled and still urgently need. This experience was not simply about a canceled appointment. It was about a complete lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for patients. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Kurzrok, The Neurology Center, or MedStar Health. Patients deserve honest communication, fair treatment, and continuity of care, not unexplained denials of care after traveling to a scheduled appointment.

Summit Orthopedics works closely with Sibley Hospital so I was able to schedule a Monday morning surgery and overnight stay at the hospital. The Nurse Navigator Supervisor at Sibley provided information on Pre-Op procedures and an appointment with Sarah, Summit's Nurse Practitioner, involved a review of the surgical procedures and the list of medications with a review of frequency. Dr. Siram brought together a great surgical team comprised of the Sibley Hospital Orthopedic doctors and nursing staff and an anaesthesiologist. The first nurse assigned to my post-Op care placed top priority on Pain Control and coordinated a meeting with In-House PT/OT Team to review and practice the Post-Operative exercises. I completed 2 weeks of In-Home physical therapy with Potomac Home Health Care, affiliated with Johns Hopkins and Sibley. The PT specialist was exceptional: checked vitals; reviewed my medications; provided a home exercise plan that helped me to begin walking with and without a cane, before starting In Office Post-Op PT. I would strongly recommend the Dr. Siram | Sibley Orthopedic Team.

This is the second time I have experienced this problem with ROSM including previously in July with another doctor in the practice. Both times I was taken to an examining room in a timely manner and was left to wait in the room. After over 30 minutes, I left the room and spoke to one of the staff to ask if there was a problem. Both times I was told that the doctor was with another patient and would be in to see me in a while. My first complaint, therefore, is that it is not the patient's responsibility to determine why there is a delay. The doctor should instruct his/her staff to let the patient know that there is a delay and what are the patient's alternatives. Both times the staff person apologized for which I appreciate their apologies. An apology by a staff person, however, does not indicate that there will be any change in how waiting patients are informed of delays. On September 12, 2024, the staff person told me that the doctor was in a room with no clock, which is not an excuse but demonstrates poor planning by the doctor. Therefore, my second complaint is that the ROSM Washington, DC office is poorly managed and fails to properly plan appointment times for patients. I will not be returning to this practice for any reason.

She is just the nicest, kindest person ever. Stacey, advised me to go to the urgent care center when I couldn't get in to see an orthopedic doctor before the weekend. She even helped me find a good one. Then, when an appointment opened up, she called me and booked the appointment for me at Ortho Bethesda. Stacey, you are an angel. I went to see Dr. Gazdag and he was wonderful. He was funny and an excellent professional. We took more X-rays, so if you see a light in Rockville, it is just me glowing at night. I am in a boot and a cane, but no surgery needed. Amen! The people who work with Dr. Gazdag and Ortho Bethesda were awesome. They were very nice and helpful. I got great care and I have respect for the office. And, thank you, Stacey for making sure I was taken care of.

As…read morea result of the surgery I I suffered a septic blood born infection -staph aureus sepis- usually caused by unsterile technique or instrumentation. I was readmitted to the hospital from the ER for 5 days where he was forced (reluctantly) to go back in and wash out the surgery site. That was followed by months of IV and oral antibiotics at home. But the sepic infection returned after the antibiotic therapy ended. Again back to the ER and readmitted for another 5 days with yet another wash out surgery and months of antibiotic therapy (IV + oral) Now 3 years later I find that the fusion did not fuse properly at the base of my spine. It basically came loose at the base of the structure .I have been in extreme pain for almost a year . Next week I go in for a complex fusion revision by a neuro surgeon that will lead to a one year recovery. Now after being paid almost 20,000 dollars he refused my polite request to forgive the balance unpaid by insurance. He reported 2500 to the credit bureau. STAY AWAY from this affable surgeon.

I don't know what the health effects (including negative) are but I've been trying to take it when I remember and get more sun. The parking garage is expensive. Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices in violation of the Maryland Consumer…read moreProtection Act and unauthorized release of medical information in violation of HIPAA law. On 6/7/19 I paid $185.00 for an office visit because, although Dr. Musher is a network provider with United Healthcare, he wanted to take enough payment in case I had not met my deductible. On 8/17/19 my wife (under whose name his office staff had mistakenly filed the insurance claim) called and spoke with the office staff about an EOB showing that I was responsible for only $51.23 and that Dr. Musher owed me a refund of $133.77. UnitedHealthcare had informed me that Dr. Musher was paid electronically on 6/26/19 and was in breach of his network-provider contract by failing to refund me within 30 days. The office staff promised a refund within the week. When a refund that did not arrive as promised, my wife called on 9/5/19 and spoke to Dr. Musher himself. Dr. Musher solicited my wife's agreement that I subscribe to his concierge service. Pressuring her, he told her I had health issues for which he had advised follow-up care. His disclosing my private medical information without my authorization violated HIPAA law. Moreover, this high-pressure marketing of a concierge service in an attempt to credit the $133.77 to concierge subscription fees instead of issuing me a refund check was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unfair and deceptive in violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act. I received my refund, but only after two telephone requests, one-and-a-half months from the time of the first request, and two-and-a-half months from the time that my health insurance paid Dr. Musher. In sum, Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices relating to billing and to inappropriate and unprofessional solicitation for his concierge service, as well as unauthorized disclosure of private medical information. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone.
