Another time it was an unnecessary wait and hassle just to pick something up from the lab. Honestly, if you anticipate needing lab work on a weekend, you may want to consider another location unless you're out of choices. I'm not sure what's going on as neither of us has ever waited more than a few minutes for the lab at any other location. I shudder to think what it would be like if you had to wait an hour with your sick child. With that caveat, if you don't need lab work on a weekend, I wouldn't hesitate to go to this OneMedical location and expect their usual high quality of service and care.

In general, I like the integration of the app & telehealth with the office and the idea of a more personalized focus on primary care that One Medical provides. Specifically, I like this location where the staff are all very nice and welcoming. It seems like the staff really care about improving health and "taking care" of you. I tried out the Chevy Chase location last year and had a bad experience with a shockingly rude doctor that surprised me. If I went into detail about what happened there, you would be appalled. I've been to the Bethesda location a lot and they have been great every time. If I had only experienced the Chevy Chase location, I would have quit this program but I've been consistently happy with Bethesda. I haven't tried other locations but the model is that they are a different experience than your average primary care medical office. They are very prompt, stylish and offer the choice between in-person services and telehealth. Prior to One Medical, I had a less than stellar experience with a primary care doctor in a different system. When I say that I've been consistently happy with this Bethesda office, I don't say that lightly. It is pleasant and convenient.

He is absolutely the kindest, most caring doctor, and such an excellent doctor. He won't give up in finding what is wrong with you, if you are sick. He listens to you and is very thorough in checking for what is making you ill. He will recommend a specialist, if you need one. The office just moved and they are in Bethesda now off of Rockledge Drive. His nurses Lilly and Taryn are the nicest medical professionals you could happen to meet. They are so receptive to your needs. Dr. Sadikman is a concierge practice. So, you pay a yearly fee. The nice thing about that is you can get in to see him, when you need to. Yes, CDC lists this vaccine and advises to take it, but Dr. Sadikman went much further, asking me about specific conditions I am likely to encounter, time of the year I will travel etc. before making his recommendation. That was most thoughtful. Dr. Sadikman is so much more than other docs who just want to write you a prescriptions. I feel very fortunate to have found his practice. He is complemented by overall excellent staff, working seamlessly with dr. Sadikman, the whole team delivers top-shelf care. Highly recommended.

Last night I really had to sleep on this before posting this review, but surely after a goodnight's rest I thought no one should have to endure a 1st appointment like this. From the moment I walked into the office the front desk staff did not even greet me (that alone told me they were there just for their paychecks). Once I spoke, both women murmured hello under their breathe, I said "Lord, what have I gotten myself into?" I proceeded to wait for my name to be called back to see the doctor I thought I took the initiative to complete the online patient portal and I called to ask if there was any additional paperwork to be completed and was told no. Well, after hearing one of the front desk ladies ask another patient for his ID and insurance information and his response of "I gave it to the lady behind you" and they all went backwards and forward with who lost his paperwork I was baffled. As they are talking the other patients in the waiting room have the same look of disbelief on their faces as I do. Oh, and let me not leave out how the appointment scheduler is loud and repeating patients names and dates of birth as she scheduled their telephone appointments. I was like what the hell! After waiting 30 minutes from my scheduled appointment I politely asked the woman at the front desk why I was not notified that the doctor or office was running behind. She did apologize but by this time I am so frustrated because my parking ticket is time stamped for 11:18am for a 11:30am appointment. I knew she would notify the back staff and doctor of my displeasures and she did as they called me back to get my vitals and complete more paperwork in the examination room. The nurse Margie I believe her name was the only vibrant spirit in the place. She was welcoming and showed more care and concern than Dr. Bell (which is the next episode of this appointment) or anyone else. When Dr. Bell entered she spoke and said "I heard we had an episode at the front desk." I was like really lady! She went on to tell me how she was in her office reading a book because she didn't think I showed up and how they were having computer issues at the front desk. Well, I said. It would have helped if someone notified me of this instead of having me wait 30 minutes. If I had been late they would have most certainly rescheduled me. I proceeded to look for my parking ticket to show her what time I arrive and that I was on time for my appointment as she gave me a very disingenuous apology. Look I get it, the front desk staff screwed-up. But, Dr. Bell was supposed to help me to understand that this is out of the norm and reassure me that it would not happen again. Well, she did not! Please get some younger, vibrant doctors or Physician Assistants in this location. I felt like I just left a dungeon for my 1st appointment. Patients deserve better and I expected better from the Rockville location. 12.20.18 - Update- Finally was able to speak with the Practice Administrator Caroline to inform her of my office visit nightmare and the fact that Dr. Bell incorrectly billed me for services in which she did not render. To be honest, Caroline and the Billing Manager Shanita were just as deceptive in their conversation with me as Dr. Bell. This doctor charged me for an after hours visit for an 11.30am appointment as well as for a mammogram which I never requested or discussed with her. She never touched me and after her demeanor when she entered the room, I did not want her too. I will be filing formal medical board complaints against this practice and the doctor. Beware patrons!

I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room before being called back & she's very thorough in her exam (she doesn't try to rush you in & out like some medical cattle call). I was so pleasantly surprised by the fact that SHE actually returned my phone call, not a nurse or assistant - Dr. DiFresco herself (and she got back to me in 10 minutes!). No other physician has ever called me back themselves, let alone within minutes of calling. She's originally from the same neighborhood in Brooklyn that I'm from, so between her sweet, calming nature & her Brooklyn accent, I felt like I was right back home with my mom taking care of me again. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. DiFresco & I'm so grateful that I found her (for those interested, this is an all female practice).
