(I had 3 local people recommend this course to me so we went to check on it) No senior rates, week ends was more costly. We plan on playing during the week when it will be cheaper and less crowded. 18 Holes with a cart included before noon was $60, after lunch was $48.very hilly course build in residential housing.

Ok this course has some very unique holes that give good challenge. It has potential but it's $120…read morea round which is way too much for the condition of this place. The course is in desperate need of water! I had to put my wife's tees in the ground because the soil is so hard. Not a tree on the place and feels like golf in a farmers field on the front nine. The parking and bag drop is the worst design ever. You can't drive your cart to your car so you're stuck tipping some kid to drag a dirty rag over your clubs and shlep them 40 feet to the drop while you traverse the side of the mountain down to your car then have to drive back up the hill to collect your bags. Minimal clubhouse service and port o pots on course. No club cleaners on the carts. All in all I won't be back anytime soon until they fix these issues. Honestly it's only worth about $70 a round not $120.

The group behind us was not waiting and we played a 4 1/2 hour round. ( truthfully 5 hours because we slowed to a halt on 17 and 18 to piss him off). Our cart said 6 minutes behind pace when he threatened to make us skip a hole to catch up to the group in front of us that was on a sub 4 hour round pace. I would have spent some serious money here but the marshal made me never want to play here again or give them any more of my business. Golf course was nice except drenched by all fairway and green side drains. I would invest in some senior leadership or leadership training in general for staff. I have been playing golf since i was 16, and in the last 24 years I have never experienced such an awful unprofessional marshal.

The not good: they struggle mightily to get food served. I mean every single meal. Every one. UNSAT. They know exactly how many guests they have yet run out of food so fast during service. It's ridiculous. The cabins. Sometimes 'old for the sake of being old' just doesn't work. Modern plumbing fixtures and plumbing are not the devil. Example: I don't need to experience 100 year old bathing experience in a cabin with a brand new air conditioner. Also - don't put quilts on the beds with a sign that says don't use the quilts as they're for decoration. Lighting: pick a lane. LED or Incandescent. Using both just looks cheap. Onsite maintenance support: having the bulk of the cabins with no water is a real problem. Not having people onsite to immediately address that problem is even worse. Trash: a little trash can in the room doesn't cut it. Either put out trash bins for people to use that can be secured or have your staff collect trash daily. Key drop: if you want cabin keys returned to the office then either have an employee there before 0830 or have a key drop slot. The potential is there for this place to do so much better. That said this trip had me stay in 4 different hotels. Sylvan Dale was far and away the most expensive rate and they rank last out of last of a spot we'd revisit. Note: I don't do the trail ride or any other activities so those don't factor in to my feedback. This is strictly about accommodations and hospitality.

All the way from the avid player to the novice. They even have lessons here during the summer from the little office that is a part of the Complex. The rest of the park is also great. Very nice green lawns to take your kids or your pooch for a stroll. I have spent quite a bit of time here a couple of summers ago when my car had to go in for work. Nice playground. Some of the parents might get nervous of you are lone man walking around or hanging out. Nothing like the violent reaction of parents from Fossil Creek though. That is fine. I really didn't want to hear your child if they started screaming and crying anyway. The Spring Creek bike trail goes through this park, right by the Complex actually. So if you aren't in the mood to play Racquet Ball you can still stop for some water at the water fountain or soda at the soda machine.
