We searched for a good sushi place and we were not disappointed with Rainbow. worth the 1/2 hr drive. Everything was fresh and the staff were so friendly. The place is small so make reservations . We will definitely be back when we are in town

Love this little spot! If you're looking for a BIG portion hibachi meal and don't mind that there's no "show" (as they do not cook it in front of you) come here!!! service is always great and food comes out quick !! Sushi is great here as well!

In A Nutshell: -Rainbow was a good spot for me while I was in Atlantic City. -I was looking for some decent Japanese food & this place was among the choices. -I liked that I could bring in my own bottle of wine. -I also liked their generous portion of chicken teriyaki, which hit the spot big time. Overall, the service was really friendly, thank you Rainbow!

We had such a great experience here! Stopped by after visiting the beach and was not disappointed. Service was quick, and the food was amazing. It came out piping hot and flavorful! Definitely recommend the hibachi here. You get a ton of food for the price. I was able to take my leftovers for lunch to work the next day. Definitely will be returning!

We brought the sushi home and plated it on our own sushi boat.

We ordered sushi for a party we were having, and everything was super fresh and delicious!

Dropped into the Rainbow for a Rainbow Roll and was not disappointed. The signature roll was delicious as was the Miso Soup and Ginger salad. The sushi combination was very good as well (however not as good as the Rainbow Roll). The restaurant is small but comfortable and has a few tables outside. Our server was very nice and attentive.

The sushi is amazing!! The staff is so friendly and everything is super fresh. From the outside it looks very basic but this place is packing some BIG FLAVORS! If you are staying in AC I would definitely recommend coming here! Sushi pizza was great and the rolls were so good, the sushi rice is a true winner! Cash and credit accepted. Spring roll appetizers were BOMB!

Came here with a group excited to have sushi. The staff was very nice and provided us with great service. They were attentive with our drinks and checked on us during the meal. Food came out with decent timing considering it was a little busy. Takoyaki was cooked well! Not too mushy on the inside and the octopus had a good chew. I ordered chirashi which came with miso soup and salad. The miso soup was standard as expected and I really liked the ginger salad dressing. For chirashi I usually expect sashimi on top of a bowl of rice but this was presented differently. The rice was on the side instead, which was okay. The chirashi was beautifully presented and came with 13 pieces of sashimi. Everything was pretty good! Sometimes the cuts of fish weren't extremely neat but in terms of freshness it was pretty good. Not quite on par with my favorite sushi place in north Jersey but pretty good for the area. The American dream specialty roll we got was yummy! They do a good job with their rolls in terms of pretty presentation.

Lovely dessert from a lovely place!

I usually get the hibachi chicken dinner. Food tastes great and comes in a generous portion. Friendly staff is a plus, too.

Very limited parking in the area. By the time we parked and knocked on the door, they were closed. However, (not sure if it was the owner), someone motioned to the side door and let us in. It's a small spot with no seating. But, lots of different sweets. Chocolate covered pretzels, cakes, cookies, homemade snowballs. We got an assortment of items and were on our way. Everything was great. Check them out!

The service was great! There was a sweet lady at the register and we asked about the various cakes that were in the refrigerated case, to which she replied that she baked them. We chose the lemon and vanilla coconut slices. The coconut cake was covered toasted coconut and the layers contained a pineapple filling. The layers were moist and the cake amazing! The lemon cake was not a slice, but a two layer round with lemon cake and filling topped with a lemon mousse. That was amazing as well. They had an assortment of other cakes, cookies, other pastries and bread items. All in all a great place to stop by for a sweet treat while in Atlantic City.

Caesars Atlantic City felt deserted, and Tazza Cafe was the last light left burning. It sits in the lobby like an airport quick service stand that learned a few big words and decided it was sophisticated. The desserts and sandwiches on display looked wonderful, the kind of food you might photograph before reality sets in. The glass case promised a feast for the eyes and a famine for the soul. I ordered a meatball sandwich on toasted ciabatta, a small bag of chips, and a soda. The total was just shy of thirty dollars, which made me nostalgic for a time when that kind of money could buy you hope. The meatballs were dense and flavorless, like someone had wrung all the joy out of them. The sauce was red and nothing more. The bread was there, technically, but it felt like a prop. Each bite filled me up while emptying something else inside me. The two employees behind the counter seemed deeply committed to doing as little as possible. Taking my order was an inconvenience. Serving it was a punishment. They moved with the urgency of people who had already decided that nothing really matters, and perhaps they were right. Tazza Cafe might be fine for a coffee or a pastry. The coffee smelled decent, even at 6 PM. The cakes and pastries looked lovely and harmless. But for anything more substantial, for anything meant to feel like dinner, it is a place best remembered as the only option when there are no options left.

Ever since I saw a piece on The Food Network about Brulee (actually, the executive chef of the restaurant has his own show on the network called "Sugar Rush"), I had wanted to give this place a try. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a three-course dessert? Well, after having gone just once, I'm certainly not going back. After spending $28 (not including a "sharing fee" of around $10) on a Chocolate-Raspberry Jubilation and $15 on a Metropolitan that took the bartender thirty minutes to make*, and dealing with the ridiculously awful service, I was left with a bitter (not cholocate) taste in my mouth. Even the decor, designed by New Yorker Steve Lewis, was a let down. I mean the ambience was nice and all, but the tables, chairs, and even the walls were marked up and scratched -- it was like a bunch of preschoolers were let loose upon the place. If you're at the Tropicana and you feel like having dessert, go to Cuba Libre, or Ri Ra, even...They're a lot less expensive, with better service and better food. But if you have all the time in the world and don't care how much you spend, I guess you could indulge in Brulee's Brownie Extraordinaire which will only run you a cool $1,000! (*When my drink did eventually arrive, after having already eaten the "first course", it was actually quite good -- and it's the only reason this place received a two-star rating.)
