Bottom line: If you want a pleasant, relaxed non-crowded-diner breakfast experience, including the environment, atmosphere, and good food, try this place. Tired of your corporate, breakfast go-tos? Try these guys. My long time favorite near the train station was too busy to seat us so we went to my backup and very glad we did--Rainbow is now my first choice.

Great breakfast spot! Solid breakfast restaurant with a large menu. The food was hearty and tasty. Everything looked very appetizing. Service was very good; it was prompt and attentive without being excessive. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, as was the staff. Parking was easy; as the covered lot was attached to the building and behind the restaurant. Fantastic breakfast choice for a hearty and delicious meal.

Their signature burger, the Rainbow burger. Quite tasty.

Went with colleagues and we all had their burgers. The service was great. Had a cup of chicken soup before and was surprised by a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. We'll be back soon.

Meeting up with my cousins, we happened upon this restaurant in Elmhurst. Jen was our friendly gracious waitress. The place was busy being a late Sunday morning. I ordered the Greek omelette with hashbrowns and English muffin. I had asked for the hashbrowns, extra crispy, and had to send it back as it still was a little underdone. The omelette was OK, not a flavorful Greek flavoring as expected. My cousin got a fruit bowl on the side, which was large and generous with fresh fruit. My daughter got a Nashville chicken skillet. That was not too impressive. Overall not bad, but would try different items if I come again.

Stopped by on a Saturday morning (at 9:30) for breakfast with a larger party. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated quick! There are so many options for food it was had to select just one. The portions were HUGE and the food came out got and delicious. Great service from the staff, especially having such a large party. All orders were correct and everyone was happy. Can't wait to come back! PROS: * lots of menu options * plenty of parking (parking garage right next door) * excellent service * delicious food * large portions * reasonable prices! CONS: * none

The girls shopped at the boutique next door as we enjoyed watching Elmhurst pass by. Beers were ice cold and the spritzers were perfect. I had the pot roast dip sandwich with fries. The Only negative was the electric scooters and bikes flying by the outside tables and past the signs saying please walk your wheels. The group agreed that the drinks were not great. The cocktails tasted off and the sodas had no carbonation. Would definitely come back!

On this coldish Wednesday winter evening, it wasn't as busy and boisterous as our previous visits, and that was just fine for our usual catchup party of 3.  Sam was our fine and attentive server and she adequately took care of the whole dining room on this night. Arriving at 5:30pm, we took advantage of Happy Hour and had 6 beers by 6pm for $5 each.  We also had a cheese curds appetizer for $10 (discounted from regular $12). I had my usual 3 beers for our catchup session, namely: - Moreover hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV - Mango Double Marbles Imperial IPA, 8.0% ABV - Appetizer hazy IPA, 5.5% ABV For food, I had their chicken tikka masala platter for $22.  My colleagues had a high steak sandwich with salad ($20), and an Italian Beef with fries ($18).  All were delicious.  There is now a 3% credit card fee.  Overall, still one of the best Chicagoland brewpubs around.
