Both dishes were flavorful and delicious. I was absolutely in love with the pancakes! They were gigantic, beautifully presented, and incredibly rich and satisfying. We were both very happy with our food. Our coffees, however, were just okay and not particularly memorable. The only downside, and the reason I'm taking off 1 star, was my bad experience with their seating policy. I had planned to stay for a while on a weekend to finish my coffee and get some work done. However, because the café was busy and completely full, a waitress politely came to my table and asked me to leave while I was in the middle of working. I understand that restaurants need to accommodate waiting customers, especially during busy hours, but I was still disappointed by the experience. I rarely have been asked to leave a café or coffee shop while I was in the middle of working. Because of this, I would probably choose another café in the future when I'm looking for a place where I can comfortably work for a while. That said, the food was fantastic, and I'd recommend coming here for the pancakes alone.

We were seated right away and brought much needed coffee. We placed our order, you get more food than you're able to finish and it was delicious. Since we will now be coming out to visit our son when he is attending school out there, we will definitely be back for breakfast again.

This gem is the polar opposite of a creative, avant guard, posh restaurant, which we also love to go to. Instead, this place is a down-to earth 'warm sweater' sort of a restaurant. There's no caviar or truffles here. Instead, if you like a classic breakfasts, like you ate when you were a child, put on your way-back shoes; and try this place. They make their own corned beef hash and serve it in a myriad of variations. I prefer the 2+2+2+2. Two tender golden pancakes, two eggs basted, two strips of bacon and two sausages. I dont like the sausages but offer them to the others and woof they're gone. Is this a fancy place with 'ambiance', ummm... no. Are my eggs basted, by ladling hot bacon grease over them, like how my mother made them; no - that would be too much to ask. My Mom used to make corned beef and cabbage for dinner the night before, then make corned beef hash the next morning. Again, too much to ask, but this is as close to those paradigms as I'll ever dream of getting. Thank you Mimi!

I had came here a few weeks ago and ended up getting the same server, who actually remembered me. I ordered the Frozen Cocoa and it did not disappoint! It had an amazing flavor and really tasted like the cocoa you had when you were at home, during winter watching movies. The food was amazing, I ordered the Cherrywood Avocado Toast recommended by our server Jazmin and I have to say, I was not disappointed! It had amazing flavors and it paired up perfectly together. My parents had the Ultimate Scrambler with sweet potatoes and the Sweet Potato Skillet, they looked amazing and tasted amazing as well. The meals are well-priced, they won't break the bank. The frappe was also really good. My friend ordered the avocado toast, which she liked, but her caramel macchiato was off at first it tasted mostly like milk with a little caramel.
