I'm so disappointed. A friend referred me to Cornerstone and my first visit was great. I have a…read more14 year old 13 lb Jackchi Mia. My second visit was with Dr East due to Mia's allergies. She recommended the shot which I planned for but she also said I should use a "mousse" on her feet to help them heal from the biting. I asked the tech if it will make her sick since she constantly licks them, and the tech said there would be no problem. I applied the mousse when we got home. But that night Mia threw up her dinner and then threw up her breakfast the next morning. I called Cornerstone and had to wait for an available vet to respond to the tech who called me back a few hours later. The vet said "she should have worn a cone". Well - duh? Why didn't they tell me that when they gave me the mousse? Which cost $36 - down the drain. Last week I had another allergie visit and that went badly as well. Mia has an issue with her neck from a long ago injury and will scream if you touch it a certain way. I don't even have a collar on her so nobody accidentally pulls on it. I told the tech this fact as I handed Mia to her and the tech (I don't know her name but she's tall with dark hair) said "yes it's in her charts". She proceeded to slip a leash around her neck, set Mia down on the floor and began to pull her into the room for the shot as Mia was reluctant to go with her. Seriously??? Why didn't she just carry her? She's 13 pounds. Tech was cold and uncaring from my perspective - no explanation. When she brought her back out she barely said a word to me...no smiles...no report on how it went....not good customer service.

If you're reading this as a frustrated dog parent, look no further for any other trainer/ company…read more Absolutely go with Bark Busters! Amanda, our trainer is a genius. She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I'm basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There's obviously more to it than just grunting so make you're appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don't have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don't have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now! It's crazy. It's totally working! No treat or punish training. My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn't separation anxiety barking outside when she can't see me. It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her. Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it's working. Hunny fell in line immediately. My dogs aren't CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads. This is what I've been needing in my home. Thank you Amanda!

I brought my 8 month old puppy to training there and a couple play days in preparation for boarding. I then decided to board her over Easter for a last-minute trip instead of leaving her home with my grown son. I booked her boarding on April 3rd for my trip starting on April 14th. My son was very upset about not being able to keep her so on April 10th while she was at a play day, I explained the situation to the kennel and asked if I could just put my $180 boarding deposit towards future play days and cancel the boarding as keeping my son happy was more important to me than boarding my puppy. Well, it turns out that April 5 was the deadline for cancellation. I know for a fact they were not full as I was able to choose her boarding area. The deadline was literally two days after I confirmed and paid the $180 deposit for her boarding, yet I don't remember anyone telling me about the deadline to cancel being two days later. It blows me away that with my unique circumstances, they refused to put my $180 towards future play days as I would've been bringing her there 2 to 3 times a month at $30 a day not to mention the training sessions I would have been booking. I booked it two days before the supposed deadline and a week later, I had to change my mind due to family issues. I was not asking for my money back. I just wanted to be able to use it somewhere else. Lastly please be aware that you are charged for all play days and training sessions when you book the date instead of the day of service. This doesn't seem right. They already have your credit card on file so there's no need to charge you ahead of time. That should be done after the training or play days are completed.

We started chatting and in addition to pet…read moresitting, dog day care and other services, I discovered that she did dog grooming AND she comes to your house. My dog Leroy was with me and I asked how much for bath and nails. Her prices were comparable to those local chain groomers in the pet stores without all the drama of bringing them there, having them kenneled and leaving. I took her card and scheduled an appointment, which happened this afternoon. I asked her what she would need, and she said she brought most of her own stuff and just asked that I provide the towels. She is however, happy to use any products you wish to provide. Lori texted me a day before, and arrived promptly at the designated time. While she was bathing them, I could hear her sweetly talking to them and keeping them calm and happy during their baths, drying and nail trim. She treated them like they were her dogs. Within an hour and a half, I had two freshly washed, nail trimmed, happy dogs. Leroy and Ivy are stylin' now! Woof! I had her use my guest bath (but you can have her also bathe them outside). When she was finished, she cleaned up the area thoroughly and I had the sweet smell of clean dogs. So if you are like me, and need a little help with the fur kids, I suggest you give Lori at Paws2Paws a call. Leroy and Ivy each give Paws2Paws 5 paws up!

If I know I'm going to have a long workday I will just shoot Lori a text or give her a call that morning and she is almost always available to visit my dogs for a walk that day. She doesn't just walk them though, she interacts with them, giving them love and exercise. And when my dogs need grooming she does that too... right in the comfort of your own home so you or your pets don't need to stress about a trip to the groomers. I found Kenny through Yelp and emailed him a few questions. He was very prompt and thorough with his responses and we set up a meet-and-greet for the following week. He runs his business out of his home, and he has customized his whole house, yard and garage for dog training. It's quite impressive! Kenny has a matter-of-fact way of saying things which I truly respect. He not only helped us with the dog behavior issues that we were having, but also helped me to realize that some of our issues were brought on by our own behaviors! It helped us to change our own way of thinking about certain things (for the better). Kenny's training for dogs relies heavily on owner participation. Meaning, you don't drop your dog off to Kenny to be magically trained. You, the dog owner, attend the sessions with your dog and then PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE the new command with your dog all week, sometimes even for two weeks before the next session. It is required discipline for the owner and all family members and is a time commitment. After completing Kenny's training sessions, our dog now walks very nicely on a leash, sits when asked, goes to her "place", stays out of the kitchen when we are preparing food, and does not jump on the couch or up on us anymore. Remarkable! And worth the money? Most definitely!

We recently adopted a rescue cattle dog pup and he is a live wire. So we decided to do ourselves and him a favor by getting professional training. When we started, Kenny asked us what bad behaviors we needed to address. We told him to check almost every box. We finished lesson 4 of 6 and see a huge difference in our dog's behavior. And we have learned SO much. That's what dog training is really about, right? Training the owners. Anyway, Kenny is an investment and one you won't regret.
