We recently moved and Marley was having trouble holding commands with different owners and was leash reactive. The trainers made a point of having multiple trainers work with Marley and took her out on walks with and around other dogs. The trainers were very friendly, communicative and accommodating throughout the process. After the room and board we had a lesson where we got to spend time with the trainers and see what she had learned. We also have another lesson we can use where a trainer will come to our home to see how her training is progressing. Overall we had a positive experience with ATX K9 and are grateful for the trainers that worked with Marley.

Berwyn had confrontation issues in public with other dogs, and people, and now he is calm and poised and responds immediately to commands. Jagger is truly our local Austin dog whisperer , and we are truly appreciative of all his work that he did for our little boy Berwyn . I filled out an online form, giving details about her and our family dynamics. She is generally very well behaved, has an excellent pedigree, and comes from dogs of good temperament , but like any puppy, was active and jumpy/mouthy (nipping at my son), and needed training, hence the need for classes. I was contacted via telephone by Janice, who seemed frantic and distraught about my 'out of control' dog. I was told that I would need to have a PRIVATE evaluation ($150) before being allowed into a group setting. I know now, based on other reviews, that this is common for this facility. I was completely shocked, and asked why the need for a private eval, reminding her that, again, we are talking about a rambunctious PUPPY. She responded with, "Well, she IS a Dalmatian!" That was all I needed to hear to realize that my dog would not get the respect and fairness needed in order to be properly trained. I am so glad that I did not go with this facility, based on her attitude over the phone, and other reviewers experience. Unfortunately, I am still having a hard time finding a trainer that does not hold breed biases

Our rescue pup typically gets anxious at most boarding places, but this is one of the few boarding places where he hasn't come home with anxiety induced GI issues. We actually started going here prior to the rebranding and the quality is still top notch even if we are paying a little bit more. They provide frequent updates and also have a snazzy portal to book reservations easily. Highly recommend this place!

Not for me, for my dog: my squat form is fine. How I've used this business: for both one-on-one sessions and class-style training (six consecutive weeks), always at their locations (have not tried housecall service). We've seen excellent results. I would both use them again and recommend them to others. I'll note also that my girlfriend, who is disabled, had a good experience in the classroom setting, which helped her quickly gain confidence in handling the dog.
