This location is constantly putting out great new clothing. Prices are always great, and the have a huge plus size section.

Here's a rich sample of wholesome treatment I recieved one Sunday: I'm driving on Rt. 1 at 5:35 p.m. and decided to 411 and call them to ask about their Sunday hours. Better to call ahead then show up and have go to all the way home. The person I spoke with said they were open until 6:00 p.m. Great! So I have 20 or so minutes to shop. Excellent. So I arrive exactly at 5:40 p.m. and run to the back of the store where their shoes are. And by run, I mean QUICK. When I don't have a ton of time, I access what looks good, try it on, GTFO. Simple as that. I'm not there for five seconds when an elderly woman standing a few yards away starts screaming, "store is closing in five minutes, everyone bring your purchases to the register". I'm confused at this point. It's not even quarter till yet! So I keep on hurrying, try shoes on, taking them off. Real fast. I'm good at this trust me. A minute later she started screaming again, the same shit. It was almost like someone was looping her voice on a recorder. At this point I'm seconds away from being done and starting to assemble what I plain on buying. However I got the feeling I was being watched, started at, etc. and I look up. Sure as shit this woman was boring holes into me, and not even in a telling manner - it was more like a death stare. And so I stared back. How fucking rude is that, I'm thinking until....you guessed it! "THE STORE IS CLOSING NOW! GO TO THE REGISTER OR GET OUT." Me: "Can I help you? Any reason why you feel the need to stare at me? Is there a problem?" Cunt: -Basically the same statement again. Me: "Ok, I heard you the other 47894758738457987 times. I get it." Cunt: "There's no need for the attitude missy." Bad move. Me: "Call me missy again, and I'll plant your fucking face in the ground. I called here before coming all the way down, just to have the store shut down the second I walk in. Even after being told otherwise." Then she starts calling me a bitch and a smart ass (real classy) as I grab my purse to leave. I took the six boxes of shoes I was going to buy and threw them on the ground. Have fun cleaning that up. I hope she enjoys making $6.30 per hour for the rest of her life, which I'm sure is only for a short time longer. Hahaha. read more

I stop here periodically. That same elderly woman is the most tactless, classless, unprofessional piece of crap! She even talks about the customers right in front of them! She had something to say to the cashier in front of me because when she stepped away from the fitting room, I took the remaining two pieces into the cubicle. It was hot, the quarters small, and I am on the larger side- so having to get dressed every time to get clothing to try on is a pain. Store policy, in their defense: Only 3 items in at a time- being dressed in spandex shorts and a tank and on the older side of the usual customer base, it was quite clear I wouldn't get away with stealing their priceless merch. Then she looks up and sees me in line, looks down, and mutters do you think she heard me???? Cunt is a correct description of her! Update: Nov. 2014 The battle-axe has not been seen in months!! The absolute worst experience I've ever had in a retail store! My girlfriend and I arrived to the store at approximately 5:38 PM Sunday 9/9/18. An older Hispanic woman was at the front register came charging through the store (who was apparently ("in charge") pacing around the store RUDELY shouting every five minutes at us that the store was closing in 15, 10 and 5 minutes. We both naturally felt very unwelcomed and unwanted in the store. As we browsed around the dirty, unorganized and cluttered store we found it difficult to navigate, lacking organization, proper lighting and no sales associates or staff members that were friendly nor accommodating to prospective customers! Approximately five minutes prior to close we approach the cashier and stated that she just wanted to quickly try on two shirts which were there identical (just in different sizes) and she very rudely said "oh no it's closed!" she said it in a way which she seem to enjoy disappointing and denying us the access. Very unbecoming! We both stated that we have never heard of such a thing and that was never mentioned to us. She began to argue "well no actually it's very common and you're wrong!" Again we said we've never heard of anything and she only wants to try on a quick shirt it won't take 5 mins. She became increasingly frustrated based on physical features and she "huffed and said it's closed". I had at this point told her that it was completely ridiculous and I've never heard of such a thing. We both left clearly frustrated, feeling neglected ashamed and even a bit bullied. As we approach the exit there was a security guard standing in front of the door like we pose some kind of threat? A family with a school aged child. Really odd operation! We wanted to spend a minimum of $36 on clothing, however due to the negligent, abusive and combative sales staff; rainbow has lost this sale and all future sales! We are extremely disgusted with the behavior of said employee and will not return! read more

The staff here gives off a really hostile vibe, the security officer searching you on the way in is a pretty bad start, the signs are very misleading, when I went to pay the woman at the counter wasn't very friendly, infact the first the she said to me instead of hello was "just letting you know that our lingerie is final sale!" save your money and shop somewhere nicer. read more

this review is actually in regards to rainbows' extremely poor business practices. i used to work for the clothing store chain 'fashion bug' that was going to be replaced by the rainbow coming in. the district manager jerry caslar, and his wife came in a few times to try to recruit us current employees to remain at the store. i was adamant, EXTREMELY adamant on staying. i did everything he had said, i filled out the application he hand gave me. brought it to this revere location (which took me 2 hrs to commute to. but hey, it was a job), like he said, and called him back in 2 weeks, again, like he said. he guaranteed all us fashion bug employees a job, period. i called him every week. he even remembered my name by my mobile number at one point! well, the other fashion bug employees were set on not staying because how rude his wife was. she came into the store, and insulted our manager right to his face, in front of the rest of us! now our manager was a pure class act at fashion bug. instead of stooping to her ignorant level, he politely excused himself to sort some hangers. she also would keep saying to the DM "ok, can we just LEAVE now?" as he was trying to speak to us. it sounds harsh, but she came across as pure trash who treated us like gum at the sole of her shoe. i became the only one apart from 2 other girls who wanted to stay, because i could not afford to not have a job. when fashion bug closed, i still thought i was promised a job, well, because i was!! so the DM told me to come in for an interview. ok, i went to the interview. i got there at the exact time he specified along with the other 10-12 applicants. we all went inside, since it was time. now the DM and his wife, were inside with with people who were organizing the new store. when we all got in, he said "sorry guys can you wait outside. we are not quite ready for the interviews yet." we had to wait outside, for 15 minutes, at the begining of february. not only that, he had his wife follow us out, made sure we were out, then proceeded to loudly slam the door shut and lock it. so, basically we were locked out in 20 degree temps. after we waited, we had to wait ANOTHER 15 mins just for his wife to set up a table. i should add as well, she set the interview up in a most unprofessional way. she took a table, and put it in the middle of all us applicants. so we alllll heard and watched each others interviews while we waited our turn. the people in front of me had criminal records, very poor manners, and didnt even bring any forms of ID. she told them to bring it back in a few hours. when it got to my turn, she was nothing sort of appalling towards me. i reached to shake her hand, and she flat out looked the other way, leaving me to look like a fool in front of 12 other people. she started questioning very personal information that i later found out, is illegal to ask in interviews. actually a bit too personal to type here. at the end of my 5 minute interview (i mean it, it was seriously 5 mins long, because i had it timed for travel purpose) i asked her if i should bring some other forms of ID, since the people in front of me were all told to. she responded by, in the worst tone of voice, that it wasnt my right or place to ask about other peoples interviews, and that their lives do not concern me. she said "we'll call ya..." i kept my professional composure (more than i could say for this "woman") and told her to have a nice day. instead of bidding me goodbye, she yelled out 'NEXT!'. i called the DM jerry back a few days later, only for him to tell me they finished the hiring process, and i didnt get the job. this man and his wife promised me a job for 3 months, made me jump leaps and bounds, treated me like swine, and discarded me. for that reason, all my friends and family do not shop at the rainbow chain stores. all my current coworkers, basically everyone i am in contact with, no longer shop with them i should also add, that they do ALL the hiring for all the stores. meaning if its a rainbow employee, they were hired by this man and his wife. their business practices are utterly DISGUSTING. when i went in to see how the store looked, turned out they hired ONLY those applicants who had those criminal records at the interview!! amazing right?? im all for second chances at life, but when you cant even bring ID, or have basic manners, do you even deserve the job? the rainbow DM and his wife (who surprisingly is his manager helper) are the most rude, disrespectful heads of a business i have ever come in contact with. one of my close family friends who knows alot in the justice dept, advised i get a lawyer, saying a verbal agreement is as as good as written. but honestly, i didnt have the money or time, as i had to find a job as quick as i could. this was about a year and a half ago. karma bit them however, as that location is now closed lol. read more
