They treated her like a hopeless cause and just went through the motions. Then I stumble upon Atlas Aphasia and we met Bri. I have to tell you all, Bri has been a AMAZING. We have seen my mom go from barely saying much to speaking sentences within such a short period of time. Bri comes up with creative ideas and strategies to get my mom excited to speak again. She is also so encouraging , sweet and patient with my mother. My mom now looks forward to going to speech therapy where in the pass she was never excited. I can't recommend Bri enough. He has a long road to a full recovery and needs long term speech/reading therapy and does best in one-on-one sessions. Atlas was able to schedule 3 sessions per week and tailored the sessions to keep his interest and made them fun. His progress has been incredible and surpassed our expectations. We can't say enough good things about Atlas and plan to continue his therapy. I also love the fact it's a non-profit and geared to helping folks obtain therapy at a reasonable cost. We have done therapy in multiple locations and Atlas is definitely one of the best.

Specifically, the radiologist or individual handling my x-rays was rude and didn't show a semblance of care. Her tone was condescending throughout the imaging and she was rushing me (mind you someone in pain) to get in the proper positioning for the x-rays. I would hope that they treat other patients with more care in the future.

They offered me a discount which only took my bill down to about $500. They also mentioned this is an ongoing issue that they are working on.... If this is a known issue, they should be dealing with it immediately and not charging people hundreds of dollars for their error. Home Alliance (Seattle) came out to service my dryer in late December 2021…read more I was told it would be $79 for one visit or $99 for one year (date to date). The tech was professional and quick. We ended up bringing a second tech out a month or two later to service our dish washer, again, professional and quick. After that one year, now late December 2022, Home Alliance charged me an additional $99. Turns out, the first $99 was an annual membership, something that was NOT disclosed. Home Alliance saved my card information and charged me without my knowledge or agreement. I requested a refund in early January 2023 and was told over the phone I would receive a refund of the full $99. I had to call on February 15, 2023 to request the refund again, and only then received a refund of $61. I will not recommend using Home Alliance based on my experience and, as another reviewer so accurately stated, "their duplicitous practices regarding membership".
