Oxygen! Without it, we die! Hence I decided to head over to WHT. These chambers are supposed to help increase healing and wellness. The staff is highly attentive. While they definitely can be busy. They are on top of their game and try to suggest the best treatment for you. I did find the 175 dollar oxygen hood at an unexpected cost, but it is yours to keep. Overall the staff kept checking on me constantly, making sure I was safe and doing well. They give you access to the wifi so you can stay occupied in the chamber (currently typing this up in the chamber as we speak.).

I just completed 30 treatments at Washington Hyperbaric, and wanted to share about what a lovely experience I had during all my visits. Genardey, Elena, and the rest of the team were so conscientious, kind, and very competent. If you're locked in a hyperbaric chamber, THESE are exactly the type of people you'd want to have taking care of you. They are vigilant, pay close attention to details, and clearly love their jobs. I know they both have worked there for many years. The appointments were always on-time. I often could even show up early and they were ready for me. I had originally been concerned about having to drive to Redmond since I live in Seattle, but the treatment center is very accessible to 520 and they have lots of parking available. There aren't many hyperbaric oxygen facilities that have the "hard chamber", which is necessary for many hyperbaric protocols. All the ones I found only had the soft chamber, so that's why I decided to go with Washington Hyperbaric, because they had the hard chamber. They also had a good pricing promo going on, which made the cost a little more affordable. Undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy is life changing. If your doctor recommends it, go for it. I'm so glad I did!

Like going into a submarine, staff super friendly explained everything overall a pleasant experience.

I went to see Rena in search of some relief from issue caused by anxiety and ptsd…read more I'll start with Rena's COVID set up in office, which was my preference though she does offer remote sessions. Rena always wears a mask, has hand sanitizer and a plexiglass barrier when you are in session. Regarding the session's Rena is knowledgeable and provides articles, tools and audios that are used at home to enhance your work. I've learned from this experience and feel a shift in the right direction. Healing is a journey that won't be solved magically but I feel my work with Rena set me on a better path and with the tools she provided I'll be able to practice on my own so as not to lose messages from the experience.

"Hyperbaric oxygen therapy increases the amount of oxygen your blood can carry." - Mayo Clinic web…read moresite What it is: Imagine sitting in your own little pup tent for an hour. That's what being in a hyperbaric chamber is like. You get in and lay down on a mat. They pressurize the chamber, which takes about 5 minutes. You don't really feel anything except your ears might pop while you pressurize. You hang out, sleep or use your phone or computer. At the end of the hour they turn off the pressure and you get out. Easy. Relaxing. I love sitting in there and knowing I have that hour to myself to sleep or read in peace. What it does: A lot of different things. It gets rid of swelling and headaches. It can help with mental clarity. For me - it's increased my endurance during workouts and my knees no longer crack when I walk up the steps. Good things about New Leaf in particular: Clean chambers. They sit with you while you pressurize and have call buttons in the chambers. Pillows & blankets so you can get comfy. No high pressure sales. They usually are running specials, so call to see if they have any deals. Prices range from about $40 to $100 per 1 hour session. More technically: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT for short) pushes oxygenated blood into areas where it may have trouble reaching under normal pressure and pushes oxygen into tissues, also forcing out impurities. It reduces inflammation. Over time it can increase stem cell and red blood cell production. It helps MS, fibromyalgia, autism, burns & cuts, TBI, post-stroke, ADD...etc, etc. Dedicated to my yelp friend, Ken, who asked for info and convinced me to start writing on yelp again.
