I tried out the mHBOT at Ohana Hyperbarics on the advice of my doctor. It was a great experience but almost an hour drive from my home. After four sessions I decided to go ahead and buy a chamber to skip the commute. Janelle did a great job advising me on the various chamber makes and models. I'm very happy with my 34" Newtowne and the quick and capable setup. It's been just over two weeks and it's all working as advertised -- my husband enjoys the extra energy, better sleep and fewer muscle aches he's already experiencing from his sessions. For my TBI I expect it's a little like going to the gym... it takes time and patience to get the desired results. I went into New Leaf a little uneasy about hyperbaric treatment but I left feeling utterly serene! Location is easy to find and the office is beautiful. The staff is extremely informative and helpful. They made me feel really comfortable about my one hour hyperbaric dive. Afterwards I felt like I could breathe so much better! New Leaf Hyperbarics chambers offers a high pressure concentration of oxygen. Hyperbarics chambers are an opportunity to detox yourself from heavy toxins in your body. After my first session, my body would react to e-cigarette use. I would instantly feel dizzy upon vaporizer use. Later, during the day I managed an intense jog, route was uphill. I had no difficulty breathing and coughing as I have experienced in the past, jogging. The morning after hyperbaric chamber treatment the ache and stiffness in my hands and feet diminished. This has got to be the worst massage I have ever had (and I've had many). I have visited the Lacey branch and have had good experiences with their staff, hyperbaric chambers and massages, but it was too far of a trek for me to go. I had two massage credits left on my account, so was thrilled when the Edmonds branch opened. I booked a 2-hour massage with Aiyana. I was told that she was capable of adapting her massage style to suit my needs. I have chronic pain and deep tissue massage really helps alleviate this. On arrival, I completed the chart of what style of massage I required and my problem areas. I was greeted by my therapist, Aiyana. She brought me to the massage room and told me to undress to the level of comfort I prefer, and to lay on the table any way I choose. Face down. She started with extremely cold hands, and worked slowly, in long strokes, almost like Swedish massage. I didn't think much of this, as some therapists usually work the muscle before working deeper. Before I knew it, she had finished on my back, and started to work feebly at my arms and calves. After turning over, she didn't touch my neck, and barely brushed my shoulders and pecs before moving to my forearms, and back down to the front of my lower legs. She seemed to be working on my front right lower leg for a long time.... an unbelievably disproportionate amount of time there, and I didn't even mark it on my chart!!! She finished there, at the front part of my lower right leg. How odd!?!?! My neck, shoulders and back are my biggest problem areas, followed by forearms and calves. None of them felt like they had any work done on them. Overall: my therapist was exceptionally inexperienced, unprofessional and feeble in strength. Most experienced therapists can feel around where problem areas are, even though they are not marked on the chart, and can work out the knots. It was pretty obvious to me that her specialty was Swedish massage and could not adapt to deep tissue. She was working like she just didn't give a damn. I am extremely disappointed with this therapist and the branch, who said that she could perform deep tissue massage. I left feeling extremely cold, and my muscles were tenser than when I arrived. Not only did I waste my two hours of massage credits, I also wasted my time driving there, and two hours of time during the massage. The ironic thing was that she slipped me a specials coupon for $109 for a two-hour massage. You have got to be kidding me!? $109 for someone to lightly moisturize me in a freezing cold room? And waste 3+ hours of my time. No way! Other notes: she used so little lotion/oil it was like a dry rub. The table was not heated, and the room was frigid - to the point that when I left, I was frozen to the core and had to take a hot shower to warm up when I got home. There was a noisy fan(?) in the room, which she switched on and off intermittently. I was sure she checked her phone at one point. In addition, her cell obnoxiously went off with "I want to be a billionaire"!! If I could give the place zero stars I would. However, I do think that one star should go to Janelle, I think her name is. I called in the summer to see when they had massages available, and at that moment, they didn't, but she promised to call me back when they did. And she did call back a few weeks later! She also managed to transfer my Lacey credits up to Edmonds. Not surprising to say that I will not be visiting this place again. read more

The office is very easy to find, the staff were super helpful and informative. I thought I'd feel claustrophobic and didn't at all. The whole process was simple and relaxing. I slept better the night after and felt more energized the following couple days. read more

Love the hyperbaric naps while the system/oxygen working while I am cozy with my pillow/blanket snoozing! I have gone twice now and headed back for more. It is decreasing my painful clogged ear issue with plane travel, so went back again. What was a huge surprise was the effects on my brain/lungs. I now can sleep 8 hours without my brain constantly keeping me up! My husband went once and his snoring level decreased and he sleeps through the night too. This is a huge deal! The Edmonds WA location's staff is amazing! Janelle & Esie are so caring/kind/deligent and interesting too! Very reasonable price feeling better each time! read more
