Normally the people here are really nice but it is all dirt and your dog will get very dirty. Lots of poop. Also today this guy in picture was picking up his pit bull dog by collar lifting him in the air to where the dog was choking and it was really sad I had to leave. I'm a small girl and didn't want to say anything he was scary, seemed from another country. Maybe he doesn't know animal abuse is illegal in this country. If I see him again I'll film to send to police. Be careful of your dogs here.

Great view from the Railyard Dog park.

The new surface is soft and sandy! Woohoo! Go Railyard! Now many more dogs will be able to fully enjoy the park.

The small and low energy part is great. It's nice to have a dog park in the neighborhood. My dog enjoys going to the park.

He's 10 lbs, so he can get intimidated when he's the only little guy at the park.

The location is easy to get to with plenty of available parking. However, I wish there was a doggy potty area by the entrance, it's just concrete. The hours are fantastic, from 6AM - 9PM. I have only used the day care service. Note, if you drop off before 7AM and/or pick up after 7PM there is an additional $10 fee. Skiptown is the only place I've found in the Denver area with daycare pick up after 7 PM. Most of the time when I drop off other than early morning there has been a wait for my dog to taken back. To get started you need to download the app. Everything is done thru the app - scheduling daycare, payments, vaccination records & arranging a first time observation visit, which is required. The staff is super friendly & attentive. There have been a couple times that Skiptown called with concerns about my dog. And that I greatly appreciated. Overall, a great choice for doggy daycare.

I boarded my dog here for one night and left with serious concerns about their basic standards of…read morecare. I provided pre-portioned meals with clear written instructions and confirmed them twice -- once over the phone before drop-off and again in person. The instructions were simple and routine. Despite that, my dog was not fed dinner, and her breakfast instructions were only partially followed. More concerning, when I reached out after noticing their app did not show her dinner as completed, I was told she had been fed. That information was incorrect. I also did not receive any of the updates or reports that were expected during her stay, and my message to support went unanswered for approximately 9 hours. At pickup, I was handed back her untouched dinner along with the remaining portion of her breakfast, confirming the instructions had not been followed. When I raised this with staff, the only resolution offered was a credit toward a future stay. This experience reflects a breakdown not just in communication, but in executing the most basic responsibilities of pet care.

Even though this off-leash…read moredog park is about 45 minutes away from me, I purposefully make the ride just to come here because of how happy it makes my dog to be able to run around and socialize with other dogs in such a large, well-maintained area. There are other off-leash dog parks in Colorado, but none of them are even close to being as nice as this one. There is so much space to walk around, some agility training stations, Cherry Creek where the dogs love to cool down and play, etc. There is even a horse staple, obviously closed off so people and dogs can't enter, if you want to pay for some horse riding. I do see some dog owners every now and then not pick up after their dogs and please don't be those people. They even provide poop bags all over the park. There is a fee to enter the park but if you pay for your state park pass through your vehicle registration, it is free. Totally worth it in my opinion! The only downfall I can think of is that the bathroom at the entrance is the only one there and it is pretty foul, but it is a bathroom at a park so it is to be expected. Make sure to use the bathroom before coming!

I appreciate that the park is always maintained. This place is always packed on the weekends but the park has a few entrances as well that make it easier for my reactive dogs to enter. Get the annual pass, it is definitely worth it!
