Had it delivered today and it was great! Came pretty quickly and was still super warm. Got pepperoni and mushrooms and it was super tasty! Great chew and was super tasty. Was great with a nice ice cold coke! Would definitely order from them again.

(Took Out 04/01/20 WE @ 6:00pm): Another pizza joint taken off my bookmark list with special thanks to COVID-19! My roommate and I have been cooking for nearly the past week and wanted a break, so I suggested Raffallo's Pizza in nearby East Hollywood as a way to finally try them while we assisted restaurants who have been mandated to close their dine-in service to help slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. I loved pizza and always said they should be their own food group. Would I possibly end up at this pizzeria again minutes from home!? PURCHASE Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich ($8.25): A simple sandwich on a flaky lightly toasted French roll with thick breaded seasoned eggplant slices, a decent amount of melted mozzarella cheese, and homemade marinara sauce, this was tastier and better constructed than a recent comparable sandwich from another pizza parlor - I'd definitely order this again https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=v_-JuwqccJ6ezvYu_rPBGA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! Large Greek Salad ($8.95): Probably my favorite type of salad, this was a meal itself with plenty of fresh vegetables such as romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, light homemade Italian and ranch dressings, respectively, and some requested pepperoncinis. My only suggestion was to add kalamata olives (none whatsoever); otherwise, a very nice cleansing healthy salad https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Tfrlurc90MaYAuW49584Tg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. 18" Extra Large Regular Crust Vegetable Pizza ($24.45): A blend of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, black olives, onions, green peppers, and tomatoes, this was a healthier option with a bountiful of fresh toppings. The slightly thick crust and dough held together well under the weight of all the toppings which were distributed evenly. The crust was also perfect with its chewy crunchiness and also dipped into the provided ranch dressing. I'd order this again https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=nckMlT_AskPfAMe2UtNcAQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE Due to the mandated shutdown of all dine-in options to slow the spread of COVID-19 aka "Coronavirus 2020", I placed/paid my order through the GrubHub order service on the Yelp app, 30 minutes later I arrived, my entire ordered was ready, and off I went; easy-peasy... and thank you for being open! PARKING (FREE) Located in a small outdoor strip mall, they shared a tiny lot with a handful of businesses. Otherwise, there was plenty of FREE parking along the main drag of Santa Monica Blvd. and all surrounding streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A no-nonsense brick storefront with an equal sensibility inside with only a couple tables/chairs and an order/pick-up counter that allowed you to look into the kitchen, and some items hung on the walls. Decent amount of natural light came through the front glass windows and doors while several electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. They had one muted TV but no background music. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL East Hollywood's Raffallo's Pizza was a joy try and would certainly consider them again. The portion sizes were great, the prices were comparable to other pizzerias, parking was easy, and the service was easy and efficient. Their menu was extensive enough to try several different items. I didn't notice any alcohol so not really a sports bar option, and it was definitely a grab-and-go kind of place. Plus, it was always a pleasure to support a local mom & pop small business (I believed they had one other location on the Westside). I found exceptionally good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $46.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.5 STARS

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Lunch rush came around 1:30pm. The workers were kind and helpful, each working diligently to complete everyone's order timely. I ordered the Mamma Mia, Dante, New Yorker--with Dante coming out as my fav. Shoutout to their truffle sauce, light yet not overbearing! Loved to see how they only use focaccia that just come out of the oven, and they cut your sandwich's meat from the meat hunk on an order basis. Very fresh, never greasy. I thought the Dante and Mamma Mia could improve by adding just one more ingredient as a cherry on top, like a sort of nut (walnuts, pine nuts) or something that helps the sandwich spark. Would love to see a bit more arugula too. No public bathroom--closest one is probably Hmart across the street (needs a code). Parking is metered, but there's free neighborhood parking 1-2 blocks away if you're able to find a spot. There's a few seats (5-6) and a standing bar around the perimeter of the store. Also, the drinks are money but you can ask for a water cup for free.

I got the caprese, which was the fan favorite. The monaco (tuna sandwich), which was spicy and tasty. I also got the fiorelli which didn't seem like as much of a crowd pleaser but was still decent. I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I came here on a Saturday around 11am and there was no line - it took about 10 minutes to get my sandwiches and there was ample seating inside and out. Street parking was fine - metered and non metered spots all around. Would come again if i'm in the area!!

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. There were no reservations available near 7:00, our preferred time, so we decided to try our luck walking in. We were pleased to find free lot parking and a light crowd, and got a table for four, no problem. It was a high top near the door, probably not the best table in the house, but it suited our purposes just fine. The restaurant was charming, cute and small with a European wine bar by way of Echo Park vibe. (The location is not what I tend to think of as Echo Park, but if you've been to the Clark Street, it's on that same stretch.) I guess it's a sandwich shop by day and an elegant bistro by night. It must be at least a little trendy because at one point a very made-up woman came in and recorded footage of the dining room on her phone (please tell me if you see me on TikTok). Service was great. We had a helpful, handsome waiter (another sign this is a trendy spot) who talked movies with us and attended to all our needs. We got a couple bottles of a French red blend, the Domaine La Grange Tiphaine Touraine "Ad Libitum," and enjoyed a fun, relaxing dinner. The menu was short, everything made to share, and we got eight of the twelve dishes (I'm counting the bread and accompaniments as one). Portions were on the small side, but no one left hungry, and the food was delicious. The bread was not free, but it was fantastic. Fresh Clark Street baguette, presumably from the bakery next door. We ordered two and added the cultured butter and chicken liver. The butter was rich, creamy, and yellow, and the liver might have been the best dish of the night. It was velvety and flavorful, finished with scallion, pickled onion, and some kind of jammy, vinegary sauce. The bluefin tuna crudo was firm and silky, served with blood orange, knob onion, and Fresno chile. The ricotta dumplings made a warm, rustic dish, soft and delicate in a dark broth with morel, English pea, shaved cacciocavallo cheese, and Madeira. We had a nice snap pea and avocado salad with tangerine, endive, and buttermilk, and two excellent vegetable dishes from the sidesy part of the menu. Fried broccolini came with green chile, honey, yogurt, and mint; grilled asparagus with pistachio, dukkah, and tahini. On the more substantial side, the rigatoni was quite good, doughy pasta with short rib, Bloomsdale spinach, Banyuls (a fortified wine), and pecorino. And the vermillion rock cod was rock solid, a beautifully cooked piece of fish served with cucumber, lime, pepita, and zhoug. We had a lovely time at this new restaurant and I'd be happy to go back, both for dinner and for the lunchtime sandwiches, which look outstanding. Henrietta is an elegant little place, well worth visiting for a leisurely night out.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating, and you order at the counter and get a number before finding an open table. While the service has limited frills, I liked that you could ask any menu questions you have before ordering; I also thought waitstaff checked on the table sufficiently during my meals. I got the chicken Milanese sandwich for my first meal, and it had elements of a Caesar salad including a creamy Caesar aioli and Parmesan cheese. The thin and breaded chicken cutlet had a great crispy texture but the sandwich was missing an acidic kick that would have taken it to the next level. On my return visit, I shared a market lettuce salad which came with a mountain of cheese shavings and a light vinaigrette touch. I could see how they transferred classic pork roast flavors to the turkey porchetta sandwich, and I liked how the fennel flavored sliced pickles complemented the sliced turkey.

Hey Dodgers fans... Looking for a great spot before, during, after every Dodgers Home & Away game?…read more then you got to check out LaSorted's! Chicken wings, pizza, focaccia sandwiches, beer, wine, and a friendly staff makes this a perfect spot for everyone. Located on Broadway, in Chinatown near Dodgers Stadium, LaSorted's isn't just a "Dodgers Joint"! It's a family friendly (dogs too) kinda of place that everyone wished they had in their own neighborhood. Opened a few years ago by Tommy Brockert, an accomplished photographer and avid consumer of wings and pizza, LaSorted's has the feel of a Dodgers Hangout, mixed together with a little Rock-n-Roll nostalgia. Beside Tommy and his team, the real stars of LaSorted's is the food. Wings are outstanding and come in several flavors. We tried the Garlic Parm, Lemon Pepper (with clarified butter), and Buffalo Lemon Pepper wings and candidly, we couldn't ranked them as they were all very tasty. Good size wings that were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Although I wanted to try the mortadella with pistachio, burrata, pistachio cream on baked focaccia bread sandwich (next time), we elected to try their pizza. Unlike most joints, LaSorted's sells their pizza by the pie or slice, which made it convenient for us to try the pepperoni and Upside Down Mamba. Both slices were terrific, but the Mamba stole the show by its pure simplicity! The tomato sauce on this slice of pie is good enough to eat by itself in a bowl. Tommy sat next to us and shared a bit of his story and how his friends and relatives supported him on his inaugural journey to open LaSorted's. Believe me, it couldn't happen to a nicer individual! No photos for this review, we were too busy eating and having a great time. I'll be sure to take a few the next time I visit LaSorted's and I just pray that Tommy and team will open one in my neighborhood soon!
