Pros: super clean, upscale office, friendly staff, welcoming front desk Cons: expensive, dentist had very low bedside manners Dentist came in, saw my X-rays, patted me on the shoulder and said, "We need to redo 3 root canals. The front desk will talk to you now." She did not take the time to ease my nerves, ask how I was feeling, or explain my options. No smile, no empathy. I walked out of the exam room and see the dentist had removed her mask, was talking with another patient for a while smiling ear to ear with a tall young man. I felt discriminated. I was referred by my dentist to go to Radix and was told I had to pay $450 out of pocket for a cat scan, only for the dentist to tell me I could just have my tooth pulled and showed me on the x-Ray they had originally taken! He had told me I needed a CT scan to find out how to treat when the tooth could have simply been pulled from the get go! So the $450 CT scan was pointless and a waste of $450! Nobody wants to get a root canal but if you need one they're a great place. Super clean. Really friendly. Really fast. I can't rave enough about this place. I came here as a referral from my primary dentist for some specialized root canal work. When I first walked in, I was impressed by the office space - very modern, high tech and clean. The staff (especially the front office manager, Sally) and the techs were so friendly. I see a lot of good reviews but unfortunately had a bad experience. I knew going in that there may be chance they could not 'save' my tooth. During the procedure Dr Sue kept scolding her assistant for not doing things right or not getting the correct materials, she said she didn't have time to double check them. I get where she is coming from but this made me very uncI'm fort able to hear her scolding the employee and then I feel so they even know what they are doing and I'm this chair with my tooth open?! The Dr. didn't explain what happened except that she couldn't save the tooth and now has to be extracted, and when I started to ask questions she said rudely "what dont you understand?" She was rude to her staff and me, a paying customer! read more

I was refereed to this place by my dentist to get a root canal on tooth 31 (the one in the very back). I've never had a root canal before, so I came in pretty worried about the whole procedure. The staff were very friendly, and Dr. Suh was very kind and explained the steps she was taking along the way. All in all, the whole procedure was painless and took the length of the Disney movie to complete. There are a lot of small details that makes this place great. For instance, they give you sun glasses to protect your eyes against the dental-light and played the movie Hercules on an overhead monitor for me to watch. read more

Recently went in for a retreatment of a root canal previously done by another Dentist. I was very impressed with the whole experience. Its a great facility with top of the line equipment, very clean. Awesome staff is very warm and welcoming. I was very nervous and in pain. Dr. Suh put me at ease, explaining everything that the procedure entailed. She was gentle and felt no pain. They also refunded me my $50 copay a few weeks later because my insurance covered the expense. I am grateful that my Dentist referred me to such a great office. Dr. Suh is a great root canal specialist. Shes kind, patient, and genuine. Their office is small and tidy. In every room they turn on Netflix so its relaxing to watch. I got 2 root canals and both times I fell asleep. Shes that good. I hate going to dentists but she was so good that my body was so relaxed and I fell asleep. Dr. Suh is the best endodontist I have ever met. The personal touch she shows her patients is phenomenal! She took care of an unexpected Root canal literally days before a major surgery. She spoke with my dentist, called me at home herself and brought me in the same day... knowing that I had my kids with me. She is kind, gentle and explains every single step she's doing. Her staff are all just as wonderful. They watched my kids in the waiting room to allow her to do her work and even gave them water bottles during their long wait. After the procedure, which took two visits to complete because of a complication, she sent me home with medication and clear instructions. She called me at home on a weekend to make sure I was doing well. This kind of service is VERY rare in the world of dentistry, in my experience, and it is something I value. I had the best dental experience at Radix Endodontics! Firstly, the waiting area was very clean and organized. Secondly, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. I had a few appointments following my root canal and they were very good to remember my name. They offer me a water bottle whenever I leave, and they always follow up with me to see how my tooth is feeling after a procedure or check-up. Now to the main part, Dr. Suh is the BEST dentist I have ever been to. She is very knowledgeable and really cares about her patients. I saw her when I needed to get a root canal. She was extremely gentle to the point that I actually fell asleep in the chair! That has NEVER happened to me before at the dentist. They had given me a blanket because I was cold and I guess I just snoozed. :p The dentist assistants are all helpful and nice. The equipment in the rooms seem to be top notch. Having said this, my experience with Dr. Suh was extremely positive (she treated me for an emergency visit). Dr. Suh and her staff are amazing! She performed a significant surgery to remove infected bone and while the surgery was long, she took the time to ensure my comfort throughout the process. After the al oust 3 hr procedure was done, Dr. Suh told me that I may be swelling and/or bruising but icing would definitely help. I was also given medication to control pain, of which I only needed one dose as I had no pain, bruising or swelling. This doctor is a precious blessing and a professional in her discipline.
