Before going to Dr. Galvan I was terrified of the dentist because I had a really bad experience at a dental office in Canoga Park. Dr. Galvan's chair side manner is exceptional and his staff is top tier. I have never felt pain. He does this thing with my cheek when he numbs me it's amazing!!! When I called to make an appointment, the woman helping me would not tell me whether my plan included the two free dental cleanings it advertises. She kept saying that I first had to come in to be examined by the dental hygienist, who would then decide what type of cleaning I needed. At my appointment, they took X-rays, and the dentist came in for about five minutes. He didn't seem interested at all, said I had no cavities, and then left. Next, the dental hygienist came in and told me my gums were red and that I needed a "special" cleaning. The same woman who scheduled my appointment came back and said it would cost me $1,400 out of pocket, even with my insurance. I declined, and suddenly the price dropped to $300. I declined again, explaining that my dental plan includes two free cleanings per year. She insisted that it didn't and even tried to get me to sign up for a credit card payment plan to cover a treatment that I don't believe I needed. Please be careful with this dental office. In my experience, they tried to pressure me into paying a large amount of money for dental services that I didn't feel were necessary. I would never recommend this office because the entire experience felt misleading and untrustworthy.

George Tao is a crook!…read more Not only was my time wasted keeping me in the waiting room for over 45 minutes beyond my appointment time during each visit, but had the gall to up-charge my twice-yearly cleaning (with Delta Dental Insurance) by $300 claiming it as "deep" cleaning. And that was just for the upper teeth on my first visit. Additionally, Tao claimed that a previous filling was suspect and that I should have a crown placed over that tooth. When I told him that I would consider that at some future point in time, Tao threatened me by telling me that if I did not take care of this right away because he recommended the procedure, the insurance company would not help pay for it if and when it became a problem. So, on my second visit a week later, yet another $300 up-charge for the lower teeth! Then Tao began to administer a numbing agent in order to prepare me for the crown he recommended. I had to remind him I would consider that at some future point in time, and at this time I do not approve this treatment. Additionally, Tao recommended a dental rinse (with the reference that his dad uses this every night), and failed to mention that would be another $45 added to my bill. I was then scheduled for a third visit, an earliest time available follow up visit 5 months later, of which I had to reschedule, so 7 months later, Tao says I missed my "3" month cleaning and would have to charge me an additional $150. When I mentioned I have Delta Dental insurance and they say I get a dental exam with X-rays and 2 cleanings per year as part of my coverage, Tao claims he was taught in dental school how to perform in his practice and not what Delta Dental Insurance covers. So I got up out of the dental chair, accused Tao of nickel and diming his customers through up-charges, and walked out of that facility. Tao abuses his privilege as a professional, and preys on the elderly for additional income. Not recommended !!!

Have you ever met someone who just really loves what they do? That is Dr. Ehab at All Care Dental…read more He shows care toward his patients, and I've witness how caring he is to his staff. He is really big on educating his patients, so we know what is going on with our mouths which I really appreciate. I also don't have to wait a long time to be taken back. If my appointment is at a certain scheduled time, then they adhere to that time. I've always been afraid to go to the dentist because of the pain and long wait times, and while I can't speak for everyone's experience, I can say that for me all of that has been eliminated. I received three fillings and a deep cleaning. Pain was very minimal. And as previously mentioned, I wasn't there very long. In and out within the hour. Lastly, Dr. Ehab is friendly, personable, and mindful of your financial situation. Not just a guy after your money. I am extremely grateful to have found All Care Dental and I look forward to many more appointments with them in the future.

Dr. Ateia is the only ones I actually feel safe with. He's gentle, patient, and he talks to me like a human being, not a checklist or another number he's rushing through. There's something about his energy that immediately puts me at ease. Recently I needed a root canal, and he not only started it for a very fair price, but he also went out of his way to find an endodontist who took my insurance so I wouldn't have to pay anything to finish it. That blew me away... most places would've just handed me a bill. Before he even saw me, he called in antibiotics to help with the pain. After the appointment, he followed up to make sure I was okay. That type of treatment is rare anymore. For those that get anxious or have been traumatized by past dental work, or just tired of feeling rushed and dismissed, Dr. Ateia and his team are a safe bet that your teeth and healthcare needs will be received as top priority. Dr. Ateia genuinely cares, he's responsive, he listens, and he makes even a terrified person like me feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
