The store at Valley River in Eugene, OR is hands down one the best run AT&T stores in the country with some of the most friendliest and most knowledgeable staff there is. Been going to them for over 15 years and is the reason we stay with AT&T. Good customer service is essential and you won't find better service than this location offers. Nona the assistant manager has always gone above and beyond to take care of us every time we are there even if it's behind the scenes and we don't get to see her. She is a crucial piece to why they deliver above and beyond your expectations.

I went in to this location needing a new phone. The girl at the counter was pretty helpful. She showed me my options and told me a little bit about each phone. She was knowledgeable however, I'm pretty sure she was high. At 11am. 15 days after purchasing my phone, while out of state, my phone started acting up. It randomly shut off and wouldn't come back on. It finally came back on the next day but even since then it keeps shutting off, factory resetting, and closing all my apps. It was clearly just a defective phone. Needless to say, dealing with a factory reset every other day was pretty annoying. I would lose my apps, any settings, and anything that wasn't backed up. I went back to the Cricket store when I got back in town and the gentleman at the counter sent me straight back out the store telling me I needed to call the manufacture, Samsung. He wouldn't even entertain a conversation with me. From my view, Samsung didn't sell me a defective phone. Cricket did and so Cricket should help me with my phone and then deal with Samsung themselves. I called the Cricket Customer Service line and got a really "understanding" manager that was "unable" to help me either. He said he could give me a refurbished phone as a replacement but I was not excited about that option considering I just paid $220 for a brand new phone that doesn't work. Not to mention, I had to put a $200 deposit down for the refurbished phone that Cricket would keep if they deemed the phone issue was my fault.... Moral of this story, Cricket has cheap plans but you are getting what you pay for. I would never recommend Cricket to anyone but more importantly, this retail store.

I bought a cell phone from him, the home button was sticky and wouldn't respond normally(had to push it several times to get it to work) I was kind and courteous to him wanting to switch it for another one(giving him the benefit of doubt) When I traded it for a second phone, I had the same problem. I went in a third time and wanted another phone(shame on me for having such faith in this mans innocence) basically, he made me feel like crap, said I didn't deserve a better phone, and mocked me several times. He is a bad business man, horrible at customer service, a scam artist, doesn't make eye contact for a reason, and will pretend like you don't know more then him. His expertise is $$$ NOT electronics. In the end for this company(man) he cares about his family and himself and you are just a casualty to his profits. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY(MAN). ADDED AFTER I READ THE RESPONSE to my review- Additionally, I've just read the response to my review and it makes me sick and feel bad not just for him but for myself and customers who have had to and will eventually deal with him. In my experience anyone who doesn't treat the customer as right is a bad example of proper customer service, and is not doing business right in a customer driven economy. I run my own online businesses and never have I once ever nor would I ever respond to a customer this way in regards to a negative review, and if he truly has a good customer honoring business he should know that it is a poor business practice and the right thing to do is to treat those you've given a bad experience a good one. I am disappointed I as a fair person have been lied about. I am absolutely offended and shocked in how much he lied in his response about my respectfulness and what happened. I was very respectful and kind and only showed my upset disappointed feelings at the end telling him I felt he was taking advantage of me. When he said horrible things about me to my face, I knew immediately then I just wanted my money back and that any future correspondence would just end in further verbal abuse towards myself from him. Anyone can write in positive numbers and a high ratings in writing...Especially if they don't have to prove it or won't prove it by putting in the "real" website(which I assume is eBay or Amazon) Where is the online business name in the response so this claim can be verified?(its most likely not "Cell O Phone" I looked out of curiosity and didn't find anything). Just simply saying its from the "Largest Web Site in the world" doesn't prove anything for validation. What a joke. Define largest website in the world. Just look at my reviews here on Yelp or elsewhere and you'll see I'm a fair and honest guy. As you can see I have nothing to hide, I mean my name is in my username. In the end I really hope my honest review has pushed him to make a change to fix his poor customer service ...that is why yelp reviews exist isn't it? P.S.
