Disappointed but will be back Bc it's worth it!

Amazing food! It takes a while to come out but definitely worth it. Spicy fish sandwich is absolutely delicious, philly cheesesteak is rich and filling, hushpuppies look over done but are actually perfectly cooked, the sauce with the hush puppies is perfectly spicy. Worth every penny.

I found this place randomly looking for a lunch spot. The reviews were all 5 star so I decided we had to try it. We pulled up and thought the area around seemed a bit sketchy, but are so glad we tried it. The owner was the one to take our order and make our food. He was nice and made sure our food was good and man was it! I asked if he made the sauce and he did and it's delicious! The bun was toasted perfectly, the pickles and sauce were delicious, the fish itself was yummy and had a very mild fish flavor and the crust on it was awesome! The fries (we split a regular) were salted perfectly as well! The food was piping hot which is an extra star in my book, I hate being served warm food, so this made me extra happy! I highly recommend you eat here!! You will not be disappointed!

This truck was AMAZING! We got the spicy fish sandwich and double patty smashburger. Both were so flavorful and delicious. The fish sandwich had a big piece of fish that you can tell is really fresh. The smashburger had all the melty goodness you want in a burger. They also had 3 really good sauces to try with the sandwiches to add an extra spicy or smokey kick and flavor. The spicy green cream sauce was my favorite and had a true spicy kick, but the sandwich/burger honestly have enough flavor that you could go without extra sauce and they'd still hold their own. The food truck is right next to the Pickle Pub where you can rent a court to play pickleball, a sports bar to keep up with the games, and a stage for live music. There's plenty of outdoor seating and shady spots. There was also a big parking lot and they accepted Apple wallet, cards, and cash, which was nice and convenient. The food truck is run all by one guy and he provided excellent service. He was working so hard ringing everyone up, chopping the food, and cooking it up. You can tell he puts a lot of thought and effort into his craft. Highly recommend checking out this spot.

It takes a lot for me to open this app and create a review, but this place did it. Easily. Let's start with the truffle fries. The truffle mayo was the perfect amount of truffle to tickle the senses but not overpower popped with a freshly chiseled pile of parm. 1000/10 but now let's get to the real show stopper the fish sandwich. I tried both the cheesy(mine) and the spicy (my bfs). I'll be honest I've never had a fish sandwich in my life that I've thought twice about. Rad fish changed how I look at fish sandwich's. And just fish in general. You know what even just sandwiches in general. I will never stop thinking about this place until I get to go back. 100000000/10. I will continue to give this place my money until I am broke and homeless. Phenomenal. Excellent. Beautiful.

Wow! Put this on your list! We loved the service and the food was excellent! The spicy fish sandwich is great, I will be back for this and the truffle fries! We had friends get the cheesesteak and fish tacos, no leftovers from here! So good, check it out soon!

Omg!!! The radfish sandwich is amazing. The truffle fries were probably the best I've ever had. More places should consider crinkle fries with any add-ons. It's the best way. I can't wait to come back and try more items on their menu. And they moved!! Awesome atmosphere on the corner of Old manchac and Manchac. Come, eat, and enjoy.

The restaurant's "landlocked life, coastal state of mind" concept comes through in the menu, featuring seafood-forward dishes, creative cocktails, and Gulf-inspired flavors. I ordered a custom crafted Black Cherry Muddled Mezcal Margarita, which was a great balance of smoky mezcal, sweetness, and fresh flavors. It was a unique twist on a classic margarita and was the highlight of the meal. I started with the Roasted Carrots, served with whipped ricotta, watercress, date vinaigrette, and candied pecans. While the combination of flavors was interesting, the dish felt more like a salad than a true roasted carrot dish. The carrots were also a bit overcooked, and I would have preferred for the carrots themselves to be the main focus and shine as the highlight of the dish. For my entrée, I ordered the Cioppino and customized it by removing the clams and adding extra mussels. The dish featured mussels, white fish, shrimp, and chopped clams in a flavorful tomato broth served with grilled sourdough. The seafood was well prepared, however the broth was a bit too thick like a marinara consistency but had good rich and savory flavor. The restaurant was not very busy during my visit, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The atmosphere is casual yet polished, and it's a nice spot for anyone looking for coastal flavors without having to leave Austin.

As someone who loves…read moresupporting local restaurants -- especially Persian-owned businesses -- and lives in an area that desperately needs more great dining options, I was rooting for this place from the beginning. Unfortunately, over time, the food has been more disappointing than memorable. From the opening preview when the shrimp hot dog made its debut -- an ambitious choice, but not one that made me excited to come back -- to the overly salty crab fingers and other menu items that have felt like they were trying to be interesting rather than actually being delicious, it just hasn't come together. The biggest frustration is that the potential is clearly there. The location is great, the concept is unique, and Circle C needs more restaurants that people can't wait to return to. I'm still hoping they find their stride because I want local places like this to succeed.

We were there with friends, and enjoyed a beverage before ordering food; even the drink menu has something you probably haven't tried before! #GoForIt! The food is incredible, served hot and fresh. The flavors in every appetizer and entrée were pure perfection! I have never been a Salmon fan... but I LOVED their Salmon appetizer, and look forward to having it again! I don't remember what we all had, but EVERY dish was prepared to perfection and served with HEART!! It was our first time there, and we will definitely return. Thank you, Lila, for making our first visit memorable! If you're wondering if this place is worth a visit, don't think .. just go, and enjoy yourself; you'll be glad you did! The bar definitely had plenty of TVs, so if you're sports person. You could easily catch a game while here. One of the Table tents, notified guest of a happy hour for oysters, which I'm not an oyster fan, but hey to each their own. Had to try out the clam chowder and it was one of the best clam chowder I've had quite some time. You could easily taste the clams at a really nice consistency not too thin, not too thick and I didn't even have to add any salt to it. It was just really tasty. When the clam trotter was delivered, I happened to look at what other plates were on the serving tray ready to go out in one of them happen to be this phenomenal salmon dish. I asked the gentleman what it was and he said it was his favorite dish on the menu, so of course had to try it the salmon dish absolutely out of this world the glaze on it side. It came with it. Everything just fit really well together and y'all that plate was clean by the time it went back. This place is definitely on my shortlist as I really would like to try some of their other plates again that salmon and the clam chowder really made an impression and highly rate this place if you're looking for a good seafood place in Austin. The vibe of the restaurant was laid-back, but also very open, clean setting clean lines plenty of light and they even had really clean restrooms. The staff also was very pleasant and friendly with every one I interacted with.

I was a little apprehensive for a couple of reasons: 1-I don't eat seafood. 2-I'm often leery of corporate/chain-style places. *Yes, I go to them but often times not good experiences. Let me tell you something, my concerns vanished almost as soon as we walked in. My cousin made reservations and we were sat immediately. They were pretty busy however, we had such a lovely time that we shut the place down. We were there for almost four hours! It's easy to get lost in conversation with a good glass of wine (or a bottle + several glasses after that lol), good company, food, and a place with great ambiance. The ambiance was spot on. The decor and lighting are exquisite. I can see why so many people choose Truluck's for a special occasion or date night. It's upscale & magical. Truly a premium dinner destination. Service was incredible. Talk about premium...we were treated like royalty. Curtis went above and beyond for us. Such a nice & sweet guy. Even at the end of the evening when we shut the place down, the manager took pics of us on our behalf and chatted with us as well. He didn't make us feel rushed or that we weren't wanted there any longer. Food: We had sides for the table that included asparagus, truffle fries, Lyonnaise potatoes, and Parker House-style rolls. All delicious. I had the tomato salad (minus dressing) with black pepper & it was perfect as a summer main. It paired wonderfully with the asparagus & bread. My cousin had the filet mignon cooked at medium. I had a couple of bites and that was one delicious steak. Her daughter had the Ora King Salmon and she absolutely loved it. She said it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My boyfriend and my cousin's sister-in-law had the lobster bisque and they were in heaven. They couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Must have been because it had a strong lobster smell (remember, I don't do seafood). My boyfriend loves a good wedge salad so he had one with his soup. He was definitely jiving on its goodness. The sister-in-law had the jumbo lump crab cake and raved about the texture and flavor. As I mentioned earlier, the wine was flowing. However, I opted for still water with orange & lemon slices. We all had still with either citrus or cucumber slices. My boyfriend and I kind of shared a mini-Manhattan. By kind of I mean I had three sips. That was a proper Manhattan. Cheers to the incredible mixologists on staff. We rounded the evening out with two desserts for the table, Baked Alaska (see vids) & Key Lime Pie. Holy sugar were they good! I was pleasantly surprised by this experience and look forward to going back again. It's nice to be able to spend time with family in such a luxurious setting. Impeccable all around.
