I visited to look at their shoe department for a holiday gift. Don helped me and I could not have nicer things to say about him! He got me a variety of bean boot styles, heights, and sizes to try on to truly see which I liked best. After my research was complete, he found us back in the store to have me try one more boot that had my preferred size, width, height, and was on major sale! He never applied pressure for me to buy and actually recommended I put it on a hold if I wanted to think about it. He made sure I was well informed of my options and went above and beyond for me. I ended up coming back Sunday and bought the boots! LL Bean has some great products where I've bought blankets, flannels, sweaters, and slippers previously but Don's service was some of the best I've experienced in a while.

I've taken my 80 year old mother in and they were beyond patient with her, the only negative was the fitting for her was WAY OFF! It caused a slow down in fitting because the size was way too small so everything hurt her feet until we found the correct size and shoe. Numerous times I've been lucky enough to be helped by Noel and he's always so polite and efficient. He offers suggestions and is able to bring out multiple shoes at once. He will walk away but check back allowing for me to try on shoes at my pace and not feel rushed. He's truly an asset and appears to lead by example for his fellow co-workers. The return policy and VIP program are definitely worth it. It's hard to grasp it at first but in the end, it's worth the price for the rewards. I've returned shoes and socks within the 90 day window and it's the easiest process and no questions are ever asked. Today there was an error on my receipt that I noticed after checkout. I called Noel to talk about it and it appears to be a computer issue that I need to fix with the corporate office. He gave me the corporate phone number and his email just in case I need further assistance after I call corporate. I've always received great customer and will for sure continue to shop at this store.

After waiting…read moremore than 20 minutes, I finally received assistance, only to find that the saleswoman showed very little interest in listening to or addressing the needs I specifically explained. There was no real effort to help me find the right shoes. She essentially put three pairs of shoes in front of me and walked away. No measurements, no treadmill test, no meaningful questions, and absolutely no sense that she cared about earning my business or making sure I found the right shoe. I came to Road Runner Sports expecting knowledgeable, professional service, but instead I wasted my time and left feeling completely ignored. You can get better customer service at Walmart than you can here. I walked out and went somewhere else, where I received the kind of professional assistance I expected from Road Runner Sports in the first place. Save yourself the wasted time. Don't waste yours.
