In addition, Right At Home does not guarantee coverage when caregivers are unable to be at work. Parents receiving caregiving have been left without caregiver support. Most recently caregiver arrived with cold symptoms with no screening by the agency and had to be sent home. Concerns brought to the management of Right at Home were dismissive. A majority of the time the feedback that is given is praise but occasionally there will be an area that could be improved. This is where Matt excels and provides amazing hospitality. He is open to feedback and prompt about finding a solution. Ken is also awesome, he is extremely involved in the Morgan Hill community. Especially when it comes to supporting our elders and finding ways to keep them engaged. It is impressive how much Matt and Ken give back to our seniors in the community. His advice was invaluable. He was always there for me, whenever I had questions. He was super responsive, emailing back or calling right away. And through this process my mom kept changing her mind about where she wanted to live (mid-peninsula near her friends, south bay near me), and so our requirements kept changing. Since then the place kept going up and down in quality of care, and finally took a serious dive. Now it's awful. The help is unqualified, communication between caregivers and administration is non-existent. They claim memory care - they have no clue. They warehouse the more advanced cases. It seems all the actions are aimed at making it convenient for the facility not for the residents. They lose and destroy residents' clothing and belongings. Just awful.
