Safe at Home (SAH) was providing in-home support for our father a few days a week as our father's companion was needing support with his bathing, getting to doctor appointments, light cleaning, etc. A different company selected and paid for by the VA was covering the other days. SAH, BY FAR, outshined the other company in all areas! SAH management, Vanessa and Luisa, are kind, caring, responsive, available and very communicative. The caregivers are kind, loving, VERY PATIENT (my father can be challenging), and competent. They are on time and have stayed late when needed. Our father enjoyed the caregivers; they connected with him and felt very comfortable with them. The caregivers would interact with our father and spend quality time with him. When our father's companion unexpectedly passed away, SAH was there to help! They immediately provided 24/7 coverage for our father until we were able to move him close to us. I cannot say enough positive things about SAH and all who work there. If you want high quality services and peace of mind, knowing your loved one is being taking great care of, SAR is for you!

I am way overdue sharing my thoughts about De Un Amor in Corralitos…read more Our mother moved into the facility in mid 2019 after stays at some SNF's in the Santa Cruz/Watsonvile area. She was suffering from Parkinson's disease then had some falls resulting in to two incidences of broken hips. Needless to say, a really rough time previous to her arriving at De Un Amor, but once there things smoothed out greatly for her. I really can't say enough about how much we appreciated our mom being in such a pleasant place. The facility itself is bright and inviting; and the outside grounds with an orchard one side and a creek on the other is so very nice. The staff are all very kind, attentive and caring toward the residents and visitors. When I first visited De Un Amor I said to the owner, Trygve, "I want to live here"; to which he laughed and commented, "everyone says that." So in summation I guess the best I can say about the place is that I would be content to have my sunset there.

Caregivers showed up when scheduled and provided all the services one would expect from a professional organization. Compassionate and caring, I just wish I would have hired them from the beginning. Do yourself a favor and start with them.

In addition, Right At Home does not guarantee coverage when caregivers are unable to be at work. Parents receiving caregiving have been left without caregiver support. Most recently caregiver arrived with cold symptoms with no screening by the agency and had to be sent home. Concerns brought to the management of Right at Home were dismissive.
