The Iwo Jima Memorial is directly opposite the Top of the Town building. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the Potomac River and have views of all the significant buildings in Washington, DC. The inside is spacious - we had 92 guests seated at ten tables, and there was plenty of space for the dance floor, drinks table, and dessert table. We also took advantage of the outside patio because we had great weather, and after sunset, many of us went outside to watch the full moon rise. Catering was provided by Genesis Delight Catering, a company that has experience serving food at TotT and knows the kitchens. The event staff at the TotT are experienced and friendly and will ensure that your event is the best it can be. We enthusiastically recommend this event space. Sheridan Dalier, the event coordinator at TotT, provided generous assistance before our event when we were in the planning stages. She was friendly, experienced, and very helpful. When we learned we could hire Sheridan to help us during our party to take care of the final set-up, last-minute fixes, and any surprises, we gave an enthusiastic "Yes, please." For example, she ensured the audio-visual system had the correct cord to show our slides. She kept track of the gifts we received. She handled questions and requests from our guests. As the evening's event coordinator, Sheridan's help was important, making a great evening even better! We enthusiastically recommend Sheridan Dalier's services as event coordinator.

Captain Matt not only gave us a great ride and was full of DC trivia we weren't familiar with even after 15 years of living in the DMV area - but also let my cousin do a little decorating for the occasion, and passengers can byo food and alcohol. We opted to cruise directly underneath the flight path for jets landing at DCA for a few exhilarating flyovers, then took in the Lincoln Memorial from the water. Want to play your own tunes? Connect to the onboard Bluetooth speaker. Hair getting in your face? Captain Matt has hair ties for you. Even for a short trip we felt like we had a full service experience. Perfect idea for guests in town as a new and fun way to experience the area, or for an occasion.

The hosts answered all our questions, we were able to connect to the speaker, and we got in a mini photo shoot on the dock during the halfway point pit stop. The ride was very peaceful but also lit when we wanted it to be! Other groups were waving from their boats, the monuments provided poppin' views/backdrops throughout the ride, and we didn't even actually haaaave to paddle the whole time! I would definitely get a group together and go out on the water with this company again! A lit DC summer experience!

This competition was a scavenger hunt where ten couples competed to win a $50,000 wedding. Taylor & Hov worked together to have their favorite vendors contribute their services. To our shock and surprise, WE WON! Following our win, Taylor & Hov designed and executed the perfect wedding for us. Not only did it provide us the opportunity to work with some of the best vendors in DC, but Taylor & Hov's creative talents far exceeded our expectations. When we first started our wedding planning, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted. Despite this, Sugar was able to create an event which really spoke to our personalities. We spoke to her about our mutual love of music, and she found a way to incorporate this into every aspect of the day, with programs made of records and place settings created out of cassette tapes. Moreover, during our highest stress moments, Sugar and Nar saved the day with their eagerness to help with both large and small details, from changing the venue at the last minute to putting together a signature cocktail that our guests still won't stop talking about. All in all, Taylor & Hov gave us a better wedding than we could have ever hoped for, and for that we are so grateful! Thanks Sugar and Nar!

They were also responsive via email for a question I had which I really appreciated. They sometimes have vegan whipped cream available but I asked for extra strawberries instead since I wanted it to feel a little healthier for breakfast. I liked that it came with a little bottle of maple syrup. I ended up keeping it for later because it was sweet and delicious enough for me without. They only have challah French toasts on weekends. I have only ever come here for the bagels, but know they have breads, pastries, and are known for their panda cake pops. The people in front of us were ordering them and said they were fresh. I always get the bagels from here, while on the smaller size, they are really good. I argue that DC does not have good bagels, but these are some of the better options that we do have in the city. Get a dozen for the best deal or if you do not mind getting the ones from the previous day, those are the best deal at $7 for an assortment of 6. Pop them in the freezer and they are just as good. Service Quick and easy since I was grabbing bagels to go. The staff was helpful with pointing things out. Ambiance A few places to sit inside, but if it is nice I would recommend just going to the zoo. It is across the street and way better to eat in front of watching the animals than the busy street.
