Buyers beware. Don't buy or service at Raceway Nissan. They are running a fraudulent pricing/fictitious billing fraud schemes. These auto frauds are very dangerous to your financial health. These scams fraudulently inflate the price of your car after they lure you into the dealership to sell at very low price using misrepresentations, omissions and deceptive practices. The Major Players: Internet Manager - Vanessa Ruiz Internet Sales Director - Carlos Fernando Bosch Finance Manager - Luis Noel Sibille Don't' be a statistic and become one of the victims. On 9/1/2014, I received a price offer from the Internet Manager, Vanessa Ruiz that she will sell the Nissan Altima 2.5 S for $19,136 plus tax and license to match the Truecar.com price. During this time, the Internet Sales Director, Carlos Fernando Bosch used convoluted pricing to make it difficult to understand. Even with my CPA accounting background. What chance can a non-financial buyer or unsophisticated consumer stand when (s)he has no knowledge of financial accounting? Anyway, I specifically reiterated to him that the price should be $19,136 plus tax and license as quoted by Vanessa Ruiz. No more. I drove 70 miles to the dealership. The Internet Sales Director, Bosch guided and tracked me to ensure I reach the destination. The test-drive customer service was great. No problem there. Definitely, to ensure I close the deal. The schemes began with auto financing. From here on, the Finance Manager, Luis Noel Sibille perpetrated the fraud schemes described below. (How the elaborate fraudulent pricing/fictitious billing schemes fraud are set up?) He deliberately and intentionally sneaked in fraudulent charges with an entirely different inflated price for the car altogether. The price of the car charged was $21,156 before tax and license instead of $19,136 before tax and license. During convoluted pricing negotiation, Carlos managed to get concession of $190 (floor mats) from me to add to $19,136. As a result the final price I agreed was $19, 326 (i.e. $19,136 + 190). Upon discovery of the frauds, on 9/2/14 I sent the email to all 3 fraudsters with evidence of the calculations. They just ignored it! On 9/10/14, Carlos even had the audacity to claim it is "perplex". Meaning: he don't want to understand it. Play dumb even when face with overwhelming evidence! He tried to weasel out by promising to offer another "deal". In fraud, it's called layering. The fraudster promises to "correct" the deal, but in fact it's another layer of scam to defraud again to take advantage of the initial frauds. Don't become a victim again! You are always at a disadvantage because the fraudsters have all your information - address, social security, driver's license, credit reports, etc. Anyway, total amount fraudulently charged to me was $726. It's buried deep in the contract which includes optional theft deterrence device and sales tax. I send an email to ask for refund. Got no reply to my email and Bosch refused. How the elaborate fraudulent pricing/fictitious billings fraud schemes are set up? The Finance Manager's office is designed to induce borrowers/buyers to sign the agreement without full disclosure of the terms of the agreement and the opportunity to read and understand what the buyers/consumers signed. First, they lured you in with misrepresentations and omissions; and deceptive low advertised price. Then use convoluted fraudulent pricing/fictitious billing schemes to inflate the price of the car. In addition, use devious creative high pressure sales pitch to secure unwanted and unnecessary options like extended warranty and services from unsuspecting buyers. When that failed, during the signing of the agreement, the Finance Manager, Luis Noel Sibille sneaked in fraudulent charges/fictitious billing in the contract. The Finance Manager's office has the computer screen built-in onto his desk. He can rotate and manipulate the agreement displayed on the screen easily. Initially, he rotated the agreement to let me check basic information like name and address; and asked me to sign electronically on the screen. Nice. After a few trial runs to gain my confidence, he induced me to sign on the electronic signature pad. Nothing was disclosed or displayed. No terms of agreement. No information. No disclosures. Just sign on the signature pad as fast as it appears for each agreement. I was NOT given any opportunity to read, review or understand what I accepted when I sign on the signature pad. By then, I realized these are red flags after all the agreements and papers signed. I also noted that the Finance Manager's office posted on the wall visibly that cooling off is not allowed after the deal is sign. It is obvious to me it is designed to intimidate the buyer and position the Finance Manager in the event there is a dispute that the signatures were obtained fraudulently. Nice try but it won't work on me. Continue at: What can fraud victims do? read more

MIKE HARRINGTON - GENERAL MANAGER OSMOND EZINEWA- FINANCE MANAGER LEE MALCOLM - FINANCE MANAGER WAS I SCREWED BY RACEWAY NISSAN OF RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA? IF YOU THINK SO.... VISIT: DirtbagCarDealers.com DOES DEALER OWNER DAVID PEDDER KNOW WHAT HIS EMPLOYEES ARE DOING? LEADERSHIP WITH INTEGRITY STARTS AT THE TOP! ***** WARNING! CONSUMER BEWARE ***** I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A SLAUGHTER HOUSE, MOVING DOWN THE CONVEYOR BELT (The drive, the sales rep, manager, financing, sales manager again etc)...each had a dialed in "PITCH" to take another STAB at me. Hoping I would overlook the hidden fee's, or sneaky credit apps they tried to slip in. The only thing I could compare it to, is a dirty slaughter house that left you with no other choice but to take a shower when you got home! Unless you don't mind being butchered...I would recommend you try a different dealership! Hello everyone! Wow, I never thought I would have such a pathetic experience buying a car than I recently had with David Pedder's Raceway Nissan of Riverside. I WILL SOON be posting a detailed video on this website that explains step by step what happened to me and how you can protect yourself from being scammed BY CAR DEALERSHIPS like this one! Here is what happened to me: May 13th 2013: We needed a new family car and I located a "2011 Ford Escape" on Auto Trader that was being sold by Raceway Nissan. I Contacted Raceway Nissan using the chat feature associated with their website. I Spoke to a very friendly representative and asked specifically if they accept "RoadLoans" a financing company that I was pre-approved with. I explained I had my own financing and was not interested in any other financing. She checked with management and then returned to chat and confirmed that they did accept road loans. I explained I lived almost two hours from their dealership and I had to be 100% sure they would accept my pre-approved Road Loans financing. She checked again and came back and said they do. I wanted to confirm this 100% before driving 2 hours, so I contacted Robert Traver at the dealership and spoke to him and he assured me they take roadloans and assured me we could do the deal on the vehicle and it would take only a couple of hours and he would work hard to get me taken care of quickly. I scheduled to meet with him the following day. Arrived at dealership, and was handed off to a sales rep vs. Robert. (I assume standard procedures) I inspected the car, the sales rep was nice and told me he knew nothing about the car. He said he could show me the car fax but that he had no knowledge of it's history, condition etc. He said he sells Nissans and not Fords. I thought it was odd that a sales rep knew nothing of the car he was selling. We drove around the block and then I told him, I would take it at full sticker price. (YES FOLKS - I PAID FULL STICKER PRICE) We then went into his office and begin the process that takes about 5 hours. This process involved him telling me that regardless of me having my own finance "HE WAS REQUIRED TO PROCESS THE APP AND SHOP THE LENDING" I explained to him I was not interested in other lending options. He then said "WE STILL NEED THIS INFORMATION TO PROCESS THE SALE" he then started entering it into his computer. (What I was not aware of until later, was that he was completing a credit app). I explained to him over and over that I had financing and I was not interested. I became so frustrated that I was about to walk out of the dealership when they said fine...we can do it with Roadloans. They then said that they would need my W2's, proof of emplyment etc. I thought this was strange being that I was already approved with RoadLoans and provided all my required information to them previously. We completed the paperwork then I was presented with a break down of fee's. He handed me off to the finance manger "Osmond" to discuss the fee's etc. When reviewing the fee's associated with the loan I noticed a fee for "Accessories" for over $1300. I asked what these fees were and he said that I wanted to have some type of special air in my tires. I told him "no thanks" normal air is fine..He then said, that he cannot do the loan unless we pay the fee. I told him I will walk then and pass on the car. He said..."wait let me talk to my manager". He came back and removed the fee. He then said "Why are you going with Roadloans, I can get you a better rate" I told him, I am not interested. He pushed very hard for me to change financing. After a long drawn out discussion (almost argument), we signed the agreements and I was given the keys to the car. Read More on DirtBagCarDealers.com read more

Very disappointing experience with Raceway Nissan. I was interested in purchasing a specific vehicle and was ready to move forward with financing. I already had a Capital One preapproval and made it clear that I wanted to see what Capital One would approve before being sent through other lenders. The biggest problem was that I was told they would not sell me the car unless I accepted the add-ons they included in the deal. The vehicle itself was around $26,000, but the worksheet included thousands of dollars in additional products, including a $5,000 service contract/warranty, GAP, GPS and other dealer add-ons. I specifically questioned these charges and explained that I wanted to purchase the car but did not want the optional add-ons. I was told certain items could not be removed and was left with the understanding that if I did not accept the add-ons, they would not sell me the vehicle. I continued trying to get a revised deal without the add-ons. Instead, the conversation shifted to whether I had a paystub, even though my financing situation had already been discussed. I contacted Capital One myself and was told that I did not need paystubs for the approval I was discussing with them. After I made it clear that I still wanted the vehicle but would not agree to thousands of dollars in unwanted add-ons, I never received a clear revised offer or meaningful follow-up. I came there to buy a car, not a package of extra products. I wanted the vehicle price, taxes, required government/dealer fees and whatever financing I legitimately qualified for. I should not have been put in a position where I felt I had to finance thousands of dollars in additional products just to be allowed to purchase the car. I would strongly recommend that anyone shopping here carefully review every line of the purchase worksheet and ask directly whether each product is optional before agreeing to anything. I just purchased a car with my capital loan with warranty and gap insurance and the dealership I bought from laughed and told me how the NITRO $999 charge and all the others was basically a commission scam. Wouldn't recommend at all! They are not here to sale you a car but make commission around the car. read more

The customer service at this place is trash. Took my car in to get an oil change and was helped by a guy named Sam somebody who I would avoid. I called to see if my car was ready was told it's done and to pick it up. I cane to get it and still waited more than 30 mins for the car. Upon arrival to my house I popped the hood to make sure the oil was changed and noticed the cover over my relay box was missing I called them back instantly and they said to come back and they'll explain everything. The only answer I got was I don't why it's missing and excuses on what might have happened for it to be missing. Then the guy Sam was escalating the situation by insulting me calling me a little kid because I kept asking why is it missing and why it was touched. Came back the next day to talk to a guy named Chris who they said is in charge of all their dealership service departments. The guy basically looked at me and said they are not responsible for the missing piece and that's it. Since I was already to get my seat belt replaced bc they didn't change 5 months previously even though they stated they replaced I guess there not responsible if the parts actually get changed either. So the guy Sam helped me again idky and after I recorded my car inside and out he kept saying if I have anything valuable to take bc their not responsible if it goes missing so I'm like whatever. Then he keeps pointing out I have some curb rash on my rim which I said I know but then insists to try again escalate the sistiation and say no that's not a scratch that's a big dent in your rim like idk if he went to school for collision repair or what but curb rash and a dent are 2 different things. Then I tell him what are talking about he then says he's your key you can go somewhere else you don't need to come back. So basically if you buy a car from them they lose shit it's the customers fault and they should go somewhere else. Also nothing in the car is missing when I took it but I understand they won't admit to it I mean this is the same dealership where they were driving peoples car on their lunch break. And don't believe all the 5 star reviews they have their friends and family do it so they can get their bonuses. read more

A Great Shout Out for Victor A. at Raceway Nissan! The professionalism Victor A. exudes is very impressive. His assistant Oscar H. was also of high caliber. I must say, both Victor and Oscar are what I call in my mother language "gente fina" (fine people, with good etiquette). It reflects on the excellent management at Raceway Nissan. Victor was very cordial, non-aggressive, very attentive and as a result my shopping experience was very pleasant all the way through until I signed my last signature (LOL, you know all those signatures I'm talking about). The team was very hospitable providing me with water to drink, great spots for picture taking to share with friends and family. I appreciated Victor's honest human communication with me, person to person, sharing with one another naturally anything about life. It was a delight. Raceway Nissan, you did a fine job in hiring Victor and Oscar...you have some great talent in your Company! Even Karla was a delight and very nice in all her work. I also have some suggestions for management....a cherry on the top would have been some great treats, pastries maybe to have with the coffee. Also, a bit more attention to detail while removing stickers from vehicles would be appreciated. When I arrived home there were pieces of remains of a sticker that was removed...maybe a bit a "goo-gone" would help.....surely this would be appreciate by many in the future. It's nice to be able to bring home a car you do not have to do anything additional for it to be perfect. Raceway Nissan your team is Awesome! read more

I reached out to Raceway about a new Nissan Z they had listed on Autotrader for sale. I called the dealership and asked to speak to someone in sales in which they put me in contact with Diego Chaves. I first asked if the vehicle was still available and what was the price, they were asking for it, after being told that the car was being offered for what I was willing to pay my next question was if they did Credit union direct lending "CUDL" with my bank Schools first to which I was told yes. I made it very clear not only in writing but also recorded communication with the dealership that I only would be interested in purchasing from them if the car was financed through my bank. After being assured not only by my sales guy but also the finance department that my loan was only going to be ran through my bank, I committed to buying the car. Fast forward a few weeks and I have taken delivery of the car and to my surprise I see my credit was ran twice!! Not only did they do what they said they wouldn't do but did it without my authorization running it through Capitol One as well, leaving me with two hard inquires on my credit and not one as they had been authorized to do. I have made numerous attempts to get them to make this right but to no surprise to me they don't return messages or answer my calls....... My warning to anybody looking to do business with this place is don't! They could care less about you and have no problem putting themselves as risk of a lawsuit to make a sale. read more

Had the worst day today jumping from car dealership to car dealership. When finally we ended up at Nissan where the salesman by the name of Kristian Sanchez approached my girlfriend and I. Figuring that this experience was going to be the same as Jeep, Honda, and Infinity, very poor and lacking in friendliness, attitude, and aggressiveness; I brassed myself for the hour long boredom full of lies and deception. But this wasn't the case at Nissan! Kristian Sanchez made us feel very welcomed, he listened to what my girlfriend was looking for in a vehicle and walked us around the lot, being very open to her needs and wants. Not insisting that we had to go with a certain model or specific price rang, we felt relaxed and free to take our time with the selection. We felt a sense of awe, that we could come here and not be forced or hustled into a contract. For those looking for a worry free car buying experience I recommend Nissan! Their entire staff was friendly welcoming and really family oriented. It was as if we had know Kristian Sanchez personally prior to meeting him. My girlfriend felt relaxed and at ease, something that really rarely happens when she meets new people... Especially since he was a car dealer. We didn't close any deal that day, but we are definitely coming back. I recommend if you go to ask for the same salesman -Kristian Sanchez you won't regret it! read more

My husband and I really needed a "newer" car but we didn't have the "newer car" credit. After being turned down over 100 times before through banks and yes even Carmax we decided to go check out Raceway's online inventory. We found a pre-owned car that was on sale so my husband and I said what the heck let's do the online app if they deny us on here we still have our dignity.....Well we were approved go figure? We were scheduled to meet with Chris Bosche but when we got there he had already left for the day. Ok, I was totally not feeling that because I hate when you go to a dealer and its like a drinking game of who wants to take the bad credit people? Nevertheless, we met with Vanessa Ruiz oh she was so nice and a breath of fresh air. She always reassured that we would get approved and stop thinking negative or you will create a negative experience. I won't lie the waiting game was annoying and we wanted to throw in the towel. But, nevertheless Mike the General Mgr was totally AWESOME he met us on the lot threw in a alarm had the financial mgr Osmond who is like a math wizard king knocked down the price with a awesome warranty and a cheaper term. So, I know our story may not be your story today but if you have a 500+ credit and worry about getting approved GO TO RACEWAY NISSAN IN RIVERSIDE. No I was not sponsored nor paid to leave a review LMAO!!! read more

Dear Readers and yelpers, I have just purchased my second lease with Carlos Bosch and his assistant Aaron at Raceway Nissan. This is the second lease with Raceway Nissan in the last three (3) years. I honestly cannot express how grateful we are with Aaron's professionalism and friendly service in internet sales. Carlos Bosch his manager, is like a fine wine that continues to get better as he ages. Carlos has the experience and special touch. Carlos knows how to keep bringing back customers for more like an old crush. Carlos doesn't forget who you are, is loyalty and knows about families. The Raceway Nissan organization continues to employ hard working gentlemen. Carlos knows when our family buys vehicles, we don't have time to spend all day at the dealership. Our family time is important to us. Our family wants to negotiate and get our next dream car as soon as possible. Carlos Bosch is professional and pleasant in negotiating a deal that's right for you. I have a large family who purchases vehicles in Riverside and we know the sales people in the area at various dealerships. A buyer always wants to go back to the salesperson who always treats them fair and leaves with a desirable monthly payment. I am coming back Carlos!! Martin Aguirre & Family read more

I stopped by Raceway Nissan recently only to encounter the greatest sales guy I have ever come across.. This friendly fellows name was Aaron Eaton.. He was a younger gentlemen with a smile that would light up any room! I am over the roof about this sales guy and I will let you know exactly why... First off, we got to know each other... He got me some popcorn and a cup of coffee and began to talk for a little before even discussing a car or what I came to see.. I feel like I made a life long friend in Aaron.. Second, he was not pushy at all, very patient and listened to what I actually wanted. Third, he went out of the way, instead of forcing me to get the only black maxima with the options I wanted, he got me the exact color or car I wanted from another dealership! He then after all this, went ahead and gave me the best deal ive ever had at a car dealership... I didn't feel robbed or scared for once.. I felt like I was buying from my best friend or family member.. Go see Aaron Eaton at Raceway Nissan and I assure you will be perfectly satisfied!! Thank you Aaron Eaton and also his boss Carlos was the sweetest person around! I am beond estatic! LOVE YOU GUYS AND LOVE YOUR LIFE!! read more

To begin with, amazing service and very polite salesmen all around. Everyone who greeted me was humble. I was lucky enough to have Brandon Bosch as my salesman. Mr. Bosh helped me out with everything. I went in looking for a 2015 Nissan Maxima in black, with low mileage and in great condition. I couldn't find one that I liked at any other Nissan dealership. I searched for months and went city to city. I couldn't find "the one". I then came to my last hope and went to this dealership. The characteristics that set this dealership aside from others I've visited was the customer service. Mr. Bosch was courteous, patient, helpful, knowledgable and most of all helped me get a great deal. If it weren't for Mr. Bosch I would have given up on the car I've been searching for. To those reading this and looking for a car, I would suggest asking for Brandon Bosch. Also, to those individuals who are skeptical thinking I'm a computer or a paid individual, please know I am not. I am a college student who finally made enough to buy his first car. I'm am now a proud owner of a 2015 Nissan Maxima. Thank you Raceway Nissan and thank you Brandon B. for your services. read more

This was the first time I've stepped on a car lot and didnt get completely bombarded with salesmen. We were greeted by Jerry Becerra a wonderful young man. I was there to help my daughter buy her first new car and she had seen one on line and Jerry was more then happy to help her find it. He showed us the ins and outs of the car and showed us how very knowledgeable he was about the model we were looking at. I had already purchased this model a year earlier at another Nissan dealer and was not told then even half the things that Jerry told us. When my daughter saw that the one she was looking at was a stick not an automatic Jerry went on a hunt to find another one on the lot that was also black but an automatic and he did...and he did so without keeping us waiting. We did ultimately end up buying the car and although it took some time my daughter walked out a very happy young lady. Thank you Jerry Becerra for all your help. I also loved his fun natured spirit, it was Halloween when we bought the car and he greeted us in costume...it was great. Ask for Jerry when you go to Raceway Nissan he will help you find what your looking for, read more

I was sold two vehicles by one of your associates, Carlos Bosch at the RIVERSIDE Raceway Nissan in May 2014. Carlos was a very aggressive seller and lied repeatedly about some of the features of the Nissan Note we purchased. He also sold us a Ford Escape which I believe he knowingly knew was a "lemon" which has been recalled. He even declined to provide us the car facts we requested. After we purchased the cars he aggressively called and demanded we give him a positive review or he wouldn't be able to complete our loan. It was very uncomfortable and we felt obligated and coerced into something we did not feel was deserving. I have been trying to contact Carlos for over a month now and everytime I reach him he says he will call me back, which of course never happens. The reason I have been trying to contact him is because my husband and I are trying to purchase a new vehicle as soon as possible. I never have been treated this way by someone in business. May I note that our family has purchased 3 brand new Nissans in 2014. I'm not trying to get anything free I just want to know what my options are for a new vehicle purchase. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised after I applied online for a credit line to receive a call from Mario asking me for further details of my interests, it made me hopefully but still uncertain due to what I knew was to be expected based on my credit score. Shortly after our conversation he text me to tell me something I couldn't believe "you have been approved" and when can you come down to do a test drive? Considering I had just about given up on the possibility and happened to have free time I took a chance to see what he had to offer. To my surprise he was able to get me into a 2015, low mileage car with payments that fit my budget. I spent a total of 3 1/2 hours from start to finish all while having my 2 and 3 year olds in tow but thanks to the welcome atmosphere drinks and snacks the process was a breeze. To wrap it all up once I made it to Ricardo in finance all my concerns about service options, payment schedules and the overall finance process were addressed in a way that made me feel like he truly cared about me as a person. I definitely recommend Raceway Nissan of Moreno Valley/Riverside read more
