I mean, for me, when I am on the road, Racetrack is familiar and safe to me. I get my gas, usually a snack inside and off o go.

Fantastic customer experience. The store employees went out of their way for us during a quick stop on our trip North. Fucking legendary.

The main wall is covered in a variety of doors, which is so different. They had plenty of tables, and they were all full. Rightfully so, since the food was amazing! Their menu was very extensive with a lot of nice options. When our server Sarah came to the table, she read off the daily specials. They had so many specials!! Appetizer specials, drink specials, and the list of dinner specials was pretty long. Must've been at least 5 or 6 of them. I kinda felt sorry for her since it took her a full 5 minutes to go over the specials. They did sound amazing though!! We split an order of the Ahi Tuna Tostones appetizer. Wow was that good. They served 3 tostones with a lot of ahi tuna cubes and they were very flavorful. For dinner, I ordered the Grilled Mahi with fries. Two good size pieces of fish and the fries were very crispy. The Mahi was very moist and had roasted garlic cloves which were so yummy. It also had a small side salad with Brussels sprouts that was tasty. My girlfriends both ordered the Shrimp and Mahi Pasta and said it was very good. The place was packed so make sure you make reservations well in advance. I know for a fact that I will be going back there next time I'm in Crystal River!!

I'm writing this review for the pharmacy part of the store only. My husband and I wanted to get our…read moreflu vaccines and found out that our regular pharmacy did not have the over 65 flu vaccination that my husband needed. So I called our local Walgreens and found out yes indeed they have both doses of the flu vaccine. The pharmacy aide said no appointment necessary just come in. We signed in and were given paperwork to fill out regarding any health/ allergy issues. Just a couple of pages and HIPPA documents to be filled out and signed. They also took our insurance and identification cards. Then a short wait in their small sitting area for there were two people in front of us. The pharmacist called me behind the screen divider and introduced herself then proceeded to go over my answers. She also asked which arm I preferred to get my injection. I told her it mattered not. She then swabbed my upper arm with an alcohol wipe, waited for a few seconds to dry and gave me my shot. She was very gentle - I hardly felt it. The pharmacist was friendly, fast and efficient - sanitizing her hands before and after my vaccine. My husband and I were in and out under 20 minutes. A very positive experience and we would definitely go for our yearly flu vaccine again.

The people at the pharmacy were GREAT. However, the lady that checked me out was NOT. First, I had…read moreto "Ring" a buzzer on the counter for help checking out. This review is actually for Publix Subs fondly called by some as "Pub Subs". Some kind of sub is…read moreusually on sale - sometimes it's a sub using Boar's Head products or Publix lunchmeats. You can order either online and have your sandwich ready for you to pick up or you can go to their Deli and take a ticket for service. The Publix deli has a dedicated section just for sub making. You have a choice of bread - Italian Five Grain Roll, White, Whole Wheat, or a Soft White Roll are your choices or you can get your sandwich made into a Wrap with their Flat Bread. For those who are cutting out carbs Publix will make the sandwich into a salad for you. I enjoy all of their sandwiches but my two all time favorites are their Italian Sub and their Turkey Sub. Their Boar's Head Turkey Footlong Sub was on sale for $8.99. A very good deal in my opinion. I chose a White Roll smeared with a little mayonnaise then their Boar's Head Turkey and I chose Muenster Cheese this time. I kept it simple with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, Banana Peppers, Salt, Pepper and Oregano. I always order their Boar's Head Pickle Chips on the side as they can make the sandwich soggy. The sub is then cut in half and each half is individually wrapped. Publix offers a nice selection of cheeses you can choose from Provolone, White American, Jalapeno Pepper Jack, Swiss, Cheddar, Muenster, Yellow American and even a Chao Vegan Cheese. And numerous toppings besides the LTO normal choice of toppings. The sub is fresh and very tasty because you get to choose your favorite add ons - you can't ask for anything more in my opinion. It's a solid contender for the sandwich shops in my area. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. Publix makes it nice for when you don't have time to cook or just don't feel like it. Much better than fast food!
