Both are really great grocery stores. There's one Bakery employee and her name is Ann and she is the friendliest lady working in a Publix ever!! She likes customers and she helps folks too. There is also a great young man named Artie that goes out of his way by far to help you. They have everything here, including a pharmacy and a liquor store!!!!

And one woman had the nerve to get snippy when I politely mentioned I was on my lunch break. Ordered a tiny cake the day before, no writing on it, just plain jane... Called ahead of time to see if the cake was ready, was assured TWICE that it was. Got there, not only did they try to hand me the wrong cake but then told me my ordered cake was not even made yet. Manager comes over and gives me an attitude... I was so very respectful and polite, up to that point. How any one of the people on the deli/bakery schedule are in customer service, let alone employed is beyond me. Absolutely disgusting

The…read moreproblem is they have to put up with some people that I would just say are a little bit wealthier than most and feel more entitled. I noticed a number of golf carts so I was very careful driving around them. The problem is outside. I was in a disabled parking spot because I am disabled my heart. As I was pulling out after getting a few groceries doing 4 miles an hour watching for pedestrians one of them walked directly in front of my car and I had to literally Slam the brakes on. Besides dealing with golf carts, I also had to deal with air boats and Johnny boats as I pulled back on US 19 and they were doing 70 mph. I would come back to the store, but it would be later in the evening when those people have gone home and gone to bed. Oh, you also have to look out for Can-Ams scooters etc...and motorcycles. I don't have a problem with those people, but you gotta be extremely and I do mean extremely careful in the parking lot. Like I said great store inside but with Glenn Lakes right next to it. I was not impressed, but I'll come back if I happen to be in the area. They close earlier than my Publix.

I keep trying to test their guarantee but frankly I would have to flat out lie to get what I term "a refund plus". I see why they are able to make such a guarantee. Not only are their prices excellent, their vendors are far above par. I only wish they offered ALL the products I use but nothing is perfect. I am soooo impressed so far. A favorite location of our family…read more Note: Not the easiest to get in and out of, parking and driving-wise, so pay close attention to the traffic, my partner was driving and making a quick run inside and I was amazed at how fast people whip in and out without looking. But that's no reflection on this company. I've been a shopper of DG since living in another state north of here, and it's an affordable place to shop. She is very mean towards her customers and is very condescending. I don't think I have ever seen her happy or nice. It's not really comforting walking into that store if she is there. First impressions mean a lot and upon walking into the store I knew that we would find what we were looking for. Beautiful store, immaculately clean, well organized and tons of inventory for our consideration. Hub went one way and I went the other way. This store reminds me of JC Penny's back in Mich. We were in the store a good hour and we both were successful finding some nice summer clothes. Hub found a of pair of slip on tennis shoes and I located a pair of white Rocket Dog lace up tennis shoes and the price was right as well. Nice dressing rooms and the checkout area had plenty of cashiers working. We saved an impressive amount of money with the clothes on sale and us being first timers there, they gave us another $5.00 bonus off our balance.
