Many times, you have to take what you get at gas stations where the bathroom floors are sticky and gross (probably from travellers whose kids were trying to hold it in a little too long for their bladders) and the rest of the store looks like they could have an overhaul. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the entire place was. The bathroom floor was clean and had toilet paper. The store shelves were spacious and items were stacked neatly. We were able to get some coffee quick too. Talk about the perfect pit stop run for us to get back on the road.

For $30 you can't go wrong. I ended up picking up a single layered round cake, I believe it was roughly $15, and was surprised at how well it tasted. It was pretty moist but what really made an impression was the whipped icing. It made it not overly sweet which is why my daughter normally doesn't like cake. She actually wanted to save a piece to eat it later. You can also preorder custom cakes but there is always a good selection in the fridge when you're in a hurry.
