Both are really great grocery stores. There's one Bakery employee and her name is Ann and she is the friendliest lady working in a Publix ever!! She likes customers and she helps folks too. There is also a great young man named Artie that goes out of his way by far to help you. They have everything here, including a pharmacy and a liquor store!!!!

Went in to have 2 subs made, there were 2 women behind the counter, no one waiting in line. It took them 40 mins to make 2 HALF SUBS... And one woman had the nerve to get snippy when I politely mentioned I was on my lunch break. Ordered a tiny cake the day before, no writing on it, just plain jane... Called ahead of time to see if the cake was ready, was assured TWICE that it was. Got there, not only did they try to hand me the wrong cake but then told me my ordered cake was not even made yet. Manager comes over and gives me an attitude... I was so very respectful and polite, up to that point. How any one of the people on the deli/bakery schedule are in customer service, let alone employed is beyond me. Absolutely disgusting

The…read moreproblem is they have to put up with some people that I would just say are a little bit wealthier than most and feel more entitled. I noticed a number of golf carts so I was very careful driving around them. The problem is outside. I was in a disabled parking spot because I am disabled my heart. As I was pulling out after getting a few groceries doing 4 miles an hour watching for pedestrians one of them walked directly in front of my car and I had to literally Slam the brakes on. Besides dealing with golf carts, I also had to deal with air boats and Johnny boats as I pulled back on US 19 and they were doing 70 mph. I would come back to the store, but it would be later in the evening when those people have gone home and gone to bed. Oh, you also have to look out for Can-Ams scooters etc...and motorcycles. I don't have a problem with those people, but you gotta be extremely and I do mean extremely careful in the parking lot. Like I said great store inside but with Glenn Lakes right next to it. I was not impressed, but I'll come back if I happen to be in the area. They close earlier than my Publix.

A favorite location of our family…read more Note: Not the easiest to get in and out of, parking and driving-wise, so pay close attention to the traffic, my partner was driving and making a quick run inside and I was amazed at how fast people whip in and out without looking. But that's no reflection on this company. I've been a shopper of DG since living in another state north of here, and it's an affordable place to shop. I don't shop in places in person anymore due to a variety of factors but my partner does and he finds this location helpful and satisfactory.

She is very mean towards her customers and is very condescending. I don't think I have ever seen her happy or nice. It's not really comforting walking into that store if she is there. As many things do, we found out about this discount grocery from chatting with a server at a local…read morerestaurant. She hadn't been herself, but she told us tales of great bargains other customers told her about. Those other customers weren't wrong. As with all discount grocery stores, the items inside vary widely from week to week. The thing to note about Tin Can Pam's is that there is usually a good amount of gluten free and low carb items at radical discounts, which is terrific for people with dietary restrictions who are trying to navigate our current crazy prices. The frozen section can be tempting, but I'd encourage you to know your prices before you head in. Some of the frozen veggies were just average price, and, in fact, I could get a larger quantity for cheaper at Publix. That doesn't mean the quality isn't terrific. It is. Just be aware of all the prices if you're cost cutting. Also, there are really great sales on meat in the frozen section that are clearly restaurant overstock. If you've got a freezer, you could fill it up nicely. There were porterhouse and top sirloin steaks for $7.99 each while we were there, and from their Facebook, steaks make a regular appearance. Something to think about if you have some freezer space to fill. The aisles are very tiny, and the building is older. Be prepared to be patient as you navigate through the store with a cart, as there's a lot of negotiation of space with other carts and customers. Worth it for the bargains, but if you're frustrated easily, maybe try getting there early to avoid a crowd.

There is one thing however, some of the employees are brand new to Publix. The guy at the hot food counter didn't know which warmer had the smoked pork! Lmao, imagine being 19 years old working at Publix and you have no clue what pulled pork looks like. So bear with them yelpers, they are just learning the ropes. If however you like the New Publix smell, do yourself a favor; swing by and inhale deeply.

Went grocery shopping to my local Publix and ending up stinking upon a cozy space to to eat lunch…read more Did you know Publix offers an eating space to enjoy your food purchase from the store? I was splendidly surprised! This space is on the second floor with a nice view, plenty of seating, clean restrooms, microwave and eating supplies. Oh and Publix plays some nice music as well., Feel free to go to the grocer hungry! Publix has a space for you to sit and enjoy some delicious eats. Note: Not all Publix have this space. If your lucky enough to find one, you gotta check it out!
