This deli is in an old strip mall on the west side of Brooksville and can't be missed with the big blue awning outside. Plenty of parking and a few tables inside and outside; take out was extremely popular. Three of us ordered the Cuban and one of us got the Italian sub. Waiting for our orders, we grabbed cold drinks from the cooler and bags of chips. Hot and seasoned well, the Cuban did not disappoint! The bread was toasted perfectly while the cheese was melted enough that the pickles were still chilled. Decent sized sandwich and the pork was definitely cooked with love; it was the star in the Cuban. The Italian sub was equally good even though they were out of the one meat but quickly subbed with pepperoni. The gals in the deli were friendly, efficient and busy! Not only were they preparing our lunch, many to-go orders were being made in between. This definitely is a local favorite and now ours when we pass thru again.

My wife ordered a tuna sandwich. It took about 15 minutes to make the sandwiches. My Cuban was good but small. My wife's tuna was ok but plain. There were about 3 tables and a bar area by the window.

The store has a fresh produce section, deli section for sliced meats and cheese, and a wonderful meat/chicken/pork section. It reminds me of a local store when I was a child in the inner city. The fresh baked goods they carry are good - but I wish they still carried the items brought in by The Village Bakers in Jacksonville, a renowned bakery in northeast Florida. We alway get fresh rolls from them to make our sandwiches. The crumb cake slices are amazingly delicious - just like back in NJ where I grew up. The quality of the meats they carry is top shelf - we have never gotten anything that wasn't terrific. Hubby prefers Boar's Head brand, and they are cheaper than the grocery store that carries it nearby. I will always recommend them and return for my grocery shopping. Cashiers on the way out are always pleasant.

This was my second visit, hoping things would be better, but unfortunately they weren't. When I went in today, many of the coolers looked almost empty, and it was difficult to find the items I was looking for. The store didn't appear to be well stocked, which made for a frustrating shopping experience. I used to enjoy shopping here, but between the poor customer service, the attitude, and the lack of items, I don't plan on returning. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make some much needed improvements.

Moi has now found the most adorable little Latin Market on the planet!…read more "Miguel's Latin Market" is so freakin amazeballs, not only does it have the cutest, tiniest, most fabulous secret little Latin Breakfast/Lunch cafe & coffee shop in the very back of the store, their in house meat market sells "Churrasco Empacado." Yes, "Churrasco Empacado" AKA "outside skirt steak" or "packed steak." Me likes to also make kabobs with Churrasco Empacado on the BBQ yum yum yum yum yum :)... Miguel's is truly a Real gem. A Chef's market indeed. If you love to cook, you will love this little Latin market. Walking into Miguel's, first thing you notice is, the authentic vintage vibe, a pulse actually, kinda like walking into a time capsule, like a tiny little Cuban market from the 50's. It has a tiny produce section, a meat market and a secret little cafe in back with 2 tiny super adorable retro 50's style tables. And the whole building is like the size of a shoebox. haha. It's TINY, but MIGHTY. The market side is fabulous. They have the best selection of plantain chips, A whole section of "BADIA" spices, in sizes I have never even seen before. They also sell giant bags of rice & all kinds of kitchen utensils/tools/small appliances etc., Fresh baked cuban breads, fresh corn tortilla's, Honduran crema, mexican crema, Cojita cheese, Oaxaca cheese, NachoCheese Ole! hahaha. FYI: The little cafe in back is only open from 8am to 3pm & it serves up the most incredible cafe con leche & the coconut pastry is super yummy too OuiOui :)... While we were there Sir Hubbers had the beef empanada. It was very mild, kinda sweet, not spicy enough for us, but the dough was fabulous. We want to try the pizza one next visit. They were all sold out of the pizza one. They also have daily specials we want to try. However, while we were there we found a hot sauce called "Matouk's Calypso sauce" AKA "Salsa Calypso" and it's made with "PICKLED SCOTCH BONET PEPPERS" (from the label) it's the hottest hot sauce I have ever had in my life. So yeah, I put some on Sir Hubbers empanada for a kick, it blasted us to planet Zog. Truly Unforgettable. Miguel's, a truly uniquely unforgettable place that is a must visit. Added to moi "most fave coffee places" lists. Highest Recommendations.

Highly Disappointed - Save Your Money My husband surprised…read moreus with lunch from the new sandwich shop in Dade City (in the old Olga's location), but this place is a far cry from what Olga's used to be. He ordered a plain, dry ham and cheese, which turned out to be almost entirely bread--and not even good bread at that. There was barely any meat or cheese on it. My BLT and the 2 turkey sandwiches were equally pathetic: all bread, one thin slice of meat, paper-thin tomatoes you could literally see through, a tiny scrap of lettuce, and a barely noticeable smear of mayo. To top it off, the bacon wasn't even fresh; it was clearly the cheap, rubbery, pre-made kind you heat up in a microwave. It was absolute robbery for what they charge. We won't be back.
