Last time I was there she harassed the staff unmercifully, Picked on the customers she didn't like, totally embarrassed herself and the owner, fired the Karaoke host then publicly and openly verbally assaulted him in front of the whole establishment accusing him of sabotaging her performance when actually she was so damn drunk she couldn't sing. For more than a year now more and more locals avoid the place because of her drunkenness and hateful attitude towards staff and customers. It's a shame what she's doing to the place and a further shame the owner lets her do it. Used to be a fun friendly place to go but not anymore. When she's not there the place is fantastic but if she shows up, the place empties.

The pizza making area was very clean and easy to see your pizza being made. The employee was friendly, very efficient and it didn't take long for the pizza to be made and baked. Approximately 10 minute wait. We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza which smelled delicious and it was still hot by the time we came home. When we opened the box at home - what a beautiful pizza to see considering it came from a gas station. The toppings were delicious, the pepperoni was plentiful as well as the cheese and the sauce was very tasty. The crust was baked to a golden brown and firm so it stood straight when I picked it up to eat. We were pleasantly surprised and I have to say that this Racetrac can definitely give the pizza joints in my area a run for their money. I would definitely order a pizza again without hesitation!

The main wall is covered in a variety of doors, which is so different. They had plenty of tables, and they were all full. Rightfully so, since the food was amazing! Their menu was very extensive with a lot of nice options. When our server Sarah came to the table, she read off the daily specials. They had so many specials!! Appetizer specials, drink specials, and the list of dinner specials was pretty long. Must've been at least 5 or 6 of them. I kinda felt sorry for her since it took her a full 5 minutes to go over the specials. They did sound amazing though!! We split an order of the Ahi Tuna Tostones appetizer. Wow was that good. They served 3 tostones with a lot of ahi tuna cubes and they were very flavorful. For dinner, I ordered the Grilled Mahi with fries. Two good size pieces of fish and the fries were very crispy. The Mahi was very moist and had roasted garlic cloves which were so yummy. It also had a small side salad with Brussels sprouts that was tasty. My girlfriends both ordered the Shrimp and Mahi Pasta and said it was very good. The place was packed so make sure you make reservations well in advance. I know for a fact that I will be going back there next time I'm in Crystal River!!

You can order either online and have your sandwich ready for you to pick up or you can go to their Deli and take a ticket for service. The Publix deli has a dedicated section just for sub making. You have a choice of bread - Italian Five Grain Roll, White, Whole Wheat, or a Soft White Roll are your choices or you can get your sandwich made into a Wrap with their Flat Bread. For those who are cutting out carbs Publix will make the sandwich into a salad for you. I enjoy all of their sandwiches but my two all time favorites are their Italian Sub and their Turkey Sub. Their Boar's Head Turkey Footlong Sub was on sale for $8.99. A very good deal in my opinion. I chose a White Roll smeared with a little mayonnaise then their Boar's Head Turkey and I chose Muenster Cheese this time. I kept it simple with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, Banana Peppers, Salt, Pepper and Oregano. I always order their Boar's Head Pickle Chips on the side as they can make the sandwich soggy. The sub is then cut in half and each half is individually wrapped. Publix offers a nice selection of cheeses you can choose from Provolone, White American, Jalapeno Pepper Jack, Swiss, Cheddar, Muenster, Yellow American and even a Chao Vegan Cheese. And numerous toppings besides the LTO normal choice of toppings. The sub is fresh and very tasty because you get to choose your favorite add ons - you can't ask for anything more in my opinion. It's a solid contender for the sandwich shops in my area. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. Publix makes it nice for when you don't have time to cook or just don't feel like it. Much better than fast food!
