The house is absolutely stunning. It's updated just enough to make you comfortable with the modern amenities (we LOVED the fully equipped coffee bar) while not taking away from the beautiful historic aspect of the home. The owners were incredible. They really went the extra mile and added so many little touches that made us feel welcome and and right at home. From the local handmade soaps and bath bombs (perfect for the clawfoot tub with mountain views) to the fresh baked goods from a local bakery, candles from a local business owner, fresh flowers, handwritten card, the list just goes on! Todd, part of the husband/wife duo that owns the home gave us so many wonderful recommendations on restaurants and things to do while we were there. We took him up on many of his recommendations (all were amazing) but we also stayed in and just spent as much time at the house as possible. The gas fireplaces were beautiful, we spent many wonderful moments enjoying the 2 porches with porch swings and balcony with mountain views. We took advantage of the fire pit with the firewood that they provided. We played board games, cooked big breakfasts in the gorgeous kitchen, and just felt so peaceful and happy to be there the entire time. I could just go on and on, but we seriously cannot recommend the Farmhouse on Boxwood enough and we're already counting down the days until our return trip. :)

JoAnn was professional and made us really feel like we were in good hands. All our worries were put to rest and she had answers for all of our questions.
