It was spotless when we arrived and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen is HUGE and the King bed was so comfortable! Torri was so easy to reach when we had questions and made the entire process seamless. We absolutely loved the River Vista RV park- most are Full time owners and they are the nicest folks you'll ever meet. If you want to experience RV living you should rent this RV at River Vista, you'll have a blast! We can not wait to come back!

I was worried it might be too small, but it was just right! I stayed in the loft bedroom's king sized bed and my friend stayed on the queen sized sleeper sofa downstairs. We had perfect timing and got to see the leaves changing color and enjoy the cool weather (being from South Florida these are both unusual!) We cooked some of our meals at the cabin in the well-stocked kitchen. There is a full fridge, stove/oven and a full set of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and silverware. It got cold enough that we made hot apple cider and lit the wood burning fireplace. It was also nice to have the hot tub to soak in after a day out on the town in the cold. The nearby town of Helen is an adorable Bavarian Alpine Village with great little shops and restaurants. We also drove to nearby Dahlonega to check out the shops and artists there. We were able to go horseback riding at the Sunburst Stables in Clarkesville and we also took a trip to the North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland - I highly recommend both! I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy some more outdoor activities like tubing on the Chattahoochee River or boating on Unicoi Lake at Unicoi State Park.

We wish we could buy one for ourselves lol. The views aren't substantial, but the location was prime for reaching all of our destinations easily. This layout and floor plan easily accommodated all of us comfortably. If you are worried about space, don't even sweat it. I bet it could fit double with zero issues. All the amenities worked and Jeanette is so timely in responses and getting our needs met. There is something for everyone, seriously. The only bad thing you could possibly say is that the roads to get into the cabins is a bit confusing and a bit technical to drive with a full size truck and trailer. However, once you're in, you just hate to leave. I found at the end of every long day of riding, I was so happy to get to come home to Wildflower cabin #1 as my home. We checked in with friends who rented another cabin #7 and they raved about it as well. Look no further for your family lodging needs, this is the place you are looking for! =)

It's only about a 2hr drive from where I am but there was a bit of traffic getting out of atlanta on a wed afternoon when we left so we didn't get in till dark. I called to say we might miss the office check in hours (till 6pm) so they kindly left the key in the cabin for us for whenever we arrived which was very helpful. The rooms were clean and kitchen and bathroom had pretty much everything you needed. We also utilized the charcoal grill. Only complaint was the lighting was a tad dark during the night but maybe it's to help you relax. Loved the view of the lake from the cabin, it was beautiful to wake up to. We were also able to bring our dog for a $60 fee. House rule does say no dog on bed so keep that in mind. There was a little doggy station on site and we were able to walk him around the property to potty. He enjoyed his stay and we liked going to the nearby trials in the morning/afternoon for a hike. There's an ingles nearby as well as some other restaurants if you need food options like McDonald's, Dunkin, couple of Pizza chains, and whatever a small town typically has to offer. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

WiFi sucks, but the guy who took us to our sight went and got a loaner router from the office and helped hook it up. Office, clubhouse, pool area and facilities were all very nice and new. The pads are concrete are fairly level. The bad Or original site was someone's driveway. There was a tree overgrowing the driveway on the same side I had to back that made it a challenge to get into the sight. Once in the tree dropped crap all over our toad. The view from our right side window was the side of the building who's driveway we had parked in. My awning almost touched the building and there was very little room outside of our door. The WiFi here didn't work, nor did the cable connection for the tv. They did move us at our request to another open sight. So if you're planning on coming here you have to specifically ask if you're going to be in someone's driveway, because they won't offer that information and the site map doesn't show which lots have buildings on them. If you're looking for peace and quite, this is not the place for you. There is ongoing constructing between the heavy equipment clearing the property for more sites, or the constant banging of people repairing or having new permanent units worked on. Overpriced at $70.00 a day plus extra to be on the creek. We found a much nicer, quieter place in Hiawasee for 35.00 a night with riverfront sights at no extra cost. There's a reason for the 30 day cancellation notice. We tried to get out of our second week to go somewhere else, but they wouldn't allow it. Needless to say, we won't be back. The entire wedding party and families were able to stay together and enjoy the weekend. Guests enjoyed dining at Barrel & Vine, the onsite restaurant and bar. It made it easy for everyone to enjoy the evening. The night before reception was quaint and beautifully staged to welcome everyone. The food from the restaurant and reception was outstanding. From the stuffed pepper appetizer and ham and biscuit to the pasta and chicken dish was delicious. All of the food was fresh and plentiful. The staff managed the crowd well and were professional clearing used plates and utensils off guest tables and replenishing tables. The Vineyard at High Holly reserved the property for the wedding weekend without other guests being on the property. I would recommend this venue for a small wedding that you would like to remain quaint and allow for the bride and groom to be present with their guests.

Ambiguous and predatory booking experience, poor communication, awful hospitality…read more I booked Fire Mountain through Booking.com believing I was reserving a room without immediate payment. The process did not make the payment commitment clear to me, and I was charged for a nonrefundable stay 5 minutes after booking the reservation. I immediately tried to contact the property to explain the situation. My wife is pregnant, and our travel plans were tentative while we awaited medical advice. We explained this and requested a full refund. Despite knowing our circumstances, the property declined that request. Despite repeated attempts, including through Booking.com, I haven't been able to speak directly with the owner about the decision. In my latest conversation with Booking.com, their representative advised me to dispute the charge with my card issuer. I understand businesses have cancellation policies. But clear booking terms, responsive communication and how requests for flexibility are handled matter too. This experience has left us deeply disappointed in the hospitality shown. Based on how this has been handled, I would not book with Fire Mountain again. This review concerns the booking and customer service; we have not stayed at the property
