We stayed at Twin Falls Cabin for our 15 year anniversary. The cabin itself is very charming and in a great area. This was our second year staying at a Pinnacle cabin and there were issues. One is that several lights were burnt out in the overhead chandeliers and it was hard to see in the cabin. In addition, one bedside lamp did not work. We decided to live with it since we only had two full days to enjoy the mountains. The biggest issue was the smell. The bedroom on the right side of the bed had an odor. It was like a rat had died in the house. We noticed a smell when we first got there but thought the cabin was just musty so we opened the doors and aired it out. The next day we left early and came back late. That is when we really noticed the odor. It was an oddity that will probably not impact others as the smell would eventually go away, but it impacted us. We could have called the office the next day to come check but that would have wasted our whole day and if they did not find the smell we would have had to sleep there another night or get a hotel since it was 10 hours home. We just decided to leave the next morning, a day early. We asked Pinnacle for the cost of our last night back but they said they went and could not find the smell. We could have only gotten the refund if we called them out while we were there. It is our fault for not having them come before we left, as they could not have disputed the smell. I know there was a bad odor. We just did not want to risk it-My husband was up at 5am wanting to leave because of it so we just left as we had a 10 hour drive home. Again- the cabin itself was cute. It just needs more quality control before people check in. They charge over $240 in cleaning and service fees and for that it should be immaculate. Not dust on the rafter beams, lights burnt out and the smell of whatever was in the walls. read more

We have used pinnicle for several rentals in the Helen Georgia area. They are very nice to work with and the rental process is so easy. We recently had a rental and a few days before we were to arrive I was in an accident at work abd was hospitalized. Even though we did not take out the travel insurance and they were not obligated to do so they put half our rental into escrow and let us use it on a future rental. This property management company is a nightmare to deal with AND the cabin we rented (Bearadise) was pretty dumpy. There are VERY strict policies about pretty much everything including check in and check out times. But I read the agreement and knew the rules. Since the key is onsite I figured they tracked check in and check out with an electronic lock box. Wrong. it's a standard lock box. Instead, the moment we drove up the near 90 degree death trap driveway (not visible from any listing photos) we were greeted with a camera placed in the owners' shed pointed directly at us and the hot tub/porch area. It also swiveled while we watched it. So they're totally spying. We found another camera inside the cabin! We unplugged it. You MUST report issues within 2 hours of arriving...another rule I found odd implying they know you'll find stuff and speak now or forever hold your peace! We called about the cameras and the total invasion of privacy, two fluorescent light fixtures not working, and the disgusting and obvious stained sheets and comforter on one of the beds. I don't know how you don't see these stains when you're making the bed. The guy seemed totally befuddled by our very real issues with the cameras and blamed it on the homeowners and had just said "I doubt they work"...except we'd seen them move. We were totally put off by their "sorry not sorry" attitude. With the first complaint I was told "well you're free to leave!" We hadn't even been there an hour. Another woman called the next day and we got new sheets but were also told "yeah that fluorescent light is just finicky" and just deal with it basically. That would be OK if it wasn't the single source of light in these dungeon like basement rooms with black ceilings and next to no natural light. They obviously are aware of issues and choose not to address them. Which brings me to the photographs in the property listing. I am not sure what kind of amazing cinematographer they hired but the force perspective and lighting they used made me feel like I was renting a cheerful Bear themed cabin with a great room for gathering, not a bear nightmare that was so dark in every room you could barely see to cook, brush your teeth or do your make up. Not to mention the main living space is like half the size of what it looks like in the photos. Later inspection revealed the oven hadn't been cleaned and there were roaches in the lower level. A kitchen chair leg was broken but not immediately visible and someone fell out of the chair and injured themselves. An overall lack of pride of ownership of the cabin and no maintenance ever was apparent. We would call, they would sort of act like they cared but not so much and the cycle continued. On our last day we woke up to find there was no water in the house. Apparently some local contractors had been working and cut the water line to neighborhood we learned. Given this was the morning we went out and about and made sure we let them know to keep us updated on the status. Around 5 PM we called and they had nothing to report and said well we heard it might be tonight but we asked if they would go and check and they said no we're just a property management company and offered no solutions. I understand the cause of the lack of water was not in their control but it's all in how they respond to it. They could not have been more rude and once again we were told "you're welcome to leave at anytime". This being the evening time and the fact that we had flights the next day our plans were less than flexible as to where we were going to drive and find somewhere else to sleep. There was never once an offer for how about some gallons of water brought to the house or to suggest we stay in another one of their many cabins for the night. No solution or accommodations were made for the fact that the cabin we rented had no running water for seven people. Luckily the water came back on about 7pm. We checked out early the next day and won't be back. read more

From the get-go the tone set by this company wasn't a good one and by the end it was a horrible experience. We first booked back in Oct 2022 for our wedding weekend in Oct 2023. A few weeks later they reached out and stated that their calendar online wasn't updated yet when we booked and that the price we already got a confirmation for, was now $400+ more. How is that on the customer that the business's calendar wasn't updated and they don't honor their own sent confirmation? After they "spoke to management" they offered a 10% discount off the rental rate, which was still more than what we originally booked it for. We went with that because we needed the size of the cabin. We signed the confirmation and time went on. Months passed and from so many back and fourth emails, their email communication is very minimal and confusing, if any at all, and going back through receipts for the wedding (if you've ever had or been in a wedding, you'd understand all the paperwork and receipts that pile up) we just wanted confirmation so we called to just confirm what the price was. We then received an email stating that they were cancelling our reservation and issuing a refund FOUR MONTHS BEFORE OUR WEDDING!! There is absolutely nothing available in the area where our venue is that will accommodate the amount of people we are needing. While they did give us a full refund, they broke our contract and they left us high and dry last minute. So unprofessional and I've never been so disappointed with a company and it's horrible customer service. Per the reviews, this company was supposed to be great, but this is what we ended up with. If you're debating on going with this company or another for a booking, I'd think long and hard after knowing what we went through and now we have nowhere for our 11 people for our wedding to stay simply because they could make more money with another person booking at their updated full price online. read more

Lovely cabin experience at Chimney Mountain in Helen, GA. Super clean and cozy spot with gorgeous views. We had a group of six, but there was plenty of space for us to eat, sleep, and play games. The beds are so comfortable, I got some of the best sleep I've gotten in a while during my stay. And don't worry about bringing your whole kitchen to the cabin because it's pretty well-stocked - just make sure you bring your own coffee and have some spices for your food, and you're golden! We also really enjoyed the spacious hot tub, and we made good use of the grill, patio space, and covered ping pong table in the recreation center nearby. Super convenient location for hiking trails/waterfalls, breweries, wineries, and the town center. We never drove more than ~20-25 minutes. There are some road closures around the mountain in certain spots, so be aware. All in all, it was a lovely, peaceful getaway. Highly recommend! read more

Had a five night stay here and couldn't be happier with my experience!! The cabin was very affordable, less than you would pay to stay at a hotel, with the added amenities of a grill, hot tub, and club house area! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Just a short drive from downtown Helen, so easy to access tourist attractions and also explore the great outdoors! Will definitely be vacationing here again and referring my friends and family! We stayed in Chimney #5. When reserving cabin I believed there was a creek behind the cabin due to the pictures on website. On arrival there was no creek, shower was 2 1/2' by 2 1/2'. I felt like I was in a camper. Bedroom was spacious but the bed was very noisey. I would not stay in the cabin again. read more

This company has a very unfortunate way of doing business. We had to cancel our reservation due to a medical emergency for one of the guests 2 year old daughter that required emergency surgery and the company would not allow us to cancel the reservation. I understood non refundable deposit but I found it very poor of the company not to reimburse the second half that had already been charged to a credit card. I understand that there are policies in place but during a busy season I am sure the cabin would have rented within the 6 days time they had to open it back up for reservations. At the very least the company could have opened it up and offered reimbursement if the cabin rented again. read more

We stayed in the Matterhorn last week for a 4 night get away. The cabin was clean and the views were awesome. The first night we arrived the AC did not work.They sent a tech out and thankfully got it up and running. Later that night we realized there was no hot water and by the middle of the night we had no running water at all. The very last night the AC yet again stopped working. Each time they resolved the issue but the constant need to reach out and explain the problem while we were on vacation was not necessarily our idea of a nice get away. The morning we left I notified them that the dishwasher was not working and there was no response at all to that email. I understand things happen... but for the amount of money we spent I would have expected them to at least say "hey I'm really sorry for the inconveniences" - that never happened. read more

"A View From Above" Amazing room good secluded area. Played pool and enjoyed the hot tub right outside the master bed room. View was pretty but trees little to tall. Love everything about it. Brought the 2 kids a dog and 4 adults. Plenty of room. Pinnacle cabins agents were very friendly and even let us check in eariler than check in time. We went zip lining at Uncoi State Park. Want to see more cabins in different season. We will be back!!!!!!! read more

SO! We found a cabin YEARS ago, owned by a lady who rented it out through VRBO. We fell in love and have SO many memories at this cabin. Sadly, the last time we tried to rent it out, she had decided to sell. Now it is managed by Pinnacle Cabin Rentals. At first I was hesitant, but decided to give it a try. (Yonah View Lodge). SO HAPPY! The décor is slightly below when it was owned by the previous owner (smaller fridge, down grade on the furniture quality), but still...I have few complaints! For the most part, the cabin exceeded our expectations. It's hard to find and there is a large gravel hill to the cabins. We arrived at 12:30 a.m. because we were hurricane victims and the ride was longer than expected. They left the light on so we able to find the cabin. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. There were more supplies than I anticipated. There was a nice washer and dryer. Their associate Nicky was very helpful in finding the cabin etc. The only complaint is their pet friendly policy is not fully stated on the website. After I booked and read the rules, I discovered they were not cat friendly and the dogs had to be crated if left alone. Wound up boarding the pets, but got a good rate. read more

My boyfriend and I needed to get away for the weekend. It was Friday afternoon and super last minute so what could we do without driving half the weekend? Living in North GA already there are plenty of beautiful places to stay that aren't our own house so we thought we'd rent a cabin to take a pseudo - "Staycation"! Luckily, Pinnacle had a beautiful 1 bedroom cabin that was perfect for us available. The booking was super easy and was quickly done online, even the signing of the rental agreement. Another great thing was that instead of having to "check in" somewhere else or be there by a certain time there was a lock box so it was very convenient since we weren't sure exactly what time we could arrive. The cabin was great! It was clean and certainly lived up to the photos that are on the website. The amenities were all nice, and the hot tub was very clean. (Very important!) We felt very at home for our weekend stay. There were some bugs (moths mostly), but we are out in the country so that's to be expected. It was easy to find the cabin even though I was coming in later at night The views were beautiful, and another big selling point was the location was super close to Serenity Cellars! Serenity has great wines, wonderful owners, and there was live music that afternoon as well. It was so nice to spend the afternoon at the vineyard relaxing and then only have a 3 minute trip back to the cabin. Overall, I wish we could have stayed all week! As a first time renter pinnacle Rentals exceeded all my expectations. The location was very clean upon arrival and the views were amazing. This location was more than enough room for 2. I love the hot tube and game room which had a pool table. All the amenities were great satellite TV, washer dryer, full kitchen, and Internet. I felt right at home. I recently rented with Pinnacle Cabins this past wknd. We rented the Five Seasons cabin and it was beautiful! The view of Yonah Mountain was exceptional. Two great back porches and a side porch, along with fire pit, hot tub and pool table made the experience even better. Cabin was also easy to find, I used GPS on my phone. Helen was also easy to get to and is extremely close by and would recommend this cabin to anyone. We used the fire pit every night. The cabin was extremely clean, very spacious, and comfortable. Stayed at Bear Path cabin for the 3rd time and love it! It is a nice 2 story cabin with a basement. The basement is fun place to hangout, it has a pool table, fuse ball table, a big TV and a new hot tub. It is secluded but not too far away from Helen (about 15 mins.) Sleeps 8 comfortably, the fire place is really neat in the winter. Would like to see a bathroom in the loft and lights down to the fire pit but other than that we love this cabin, would highly recommend. Pictures are a very accurate representation. read more
