We stayed at Twin Falls Cabin for our 15 year anniversary…read more The cabin itself is very charming and in a great area. This was our second year staying at a Pinnacle cabin and there were issues. One is that several lights were burnt out in the overhead chandeliers and it was hard to see in the cabin. In addition, one bedside lamp did not work. We decided to live with it since we only had two full days to enjoy the mountains. The biggest issue was the smell. The bedroom on the right side of the bed had an odor. It was like a rat had died in the house. We noticed a smell when we first got there but thought the cabin was just musty so we opened the doors and aired it out. The next day we left early and came back late. That is when we really noticed the odor. It was an oddity that will probably not impact others as the smell would eventually go away, but it impacted us. We could have called the office the next day to come check but that would have wasted our whole day and if they did not find the smell we would have had to sleep there another night or get a hotel since it was 10 hours home. We just decided to leave the next morning, a day early. We asked Pinnacle for the cost of our last night back but they said they went and could not find the smell. We could have only gotten the refund if we called them out while we were there. It is our fault for not having them come before we left, as they could not have disputed the smell. I know there was a bad odor. We just did not want to risk it-My husband was up at 5am wanting to leave because of it so we just left as we had a 10 hour drive home. Again- the cabin itself was cute. It just needs more quality control before people check in. They charge over $240 in cleaning and service fees and for that it should be immaculate. Not dust on the rafter beams, lights burnt out and the smell of whatever was in the walls.

I loved the windows looking out across the mountain. Not sure we have ever had such a beautiful view anywhere else. We enjoyed getting up in the morning and sitting in the hot tub to watch the sunrise over the mountain. It was so nice to have the hot tub right off the bedroom. The cabin had every thing we needed...charm, coziness, cookware, coffee maker, beautiful view, hot tub, jacuzzi. We could tell that a lot of thought was put into this place. We would definitely go back! We were a a short drive away from Clarkesville which had nice food, and of course we loved visiting the Old Sautee store, and coffee place across the road. For us, this was a great place to wind down, reconnect, and enjoy the quiet. We had no planned agenda except to escape the tyranny of the urgent and to enjoy our marriage. The home itself was great- nice amenities, layout, neighborhood and location…read more Upon check-in on Wednesday we discovered sticky mouse traps throughout the home and found a mouse the following day (Thursday). The property management company was immediately made aware of the situation and said that they would send someone to clean the home, but stated that pest control had serviced the home the day before and that it's very hard to catch a single mouse. We returned home from a hike on Thursday after the cleaning crew had reportedly cleaned to discover mouse droppings throughout the home and subsequently took it upon ourselves to call the exterminator that had serviced the home prior to our arrival. The exterminator came quickly and laid out more sticky traps. The property management company provided us with the maid's contact information and we arranged for housekeeping to come that afternoon. Mind you, housekeeping only vacuumed and mopped the kitchen and dining room, even though we were not eating in the house for fear of sanitation concerns. We woke up Friday morning to mouse droppings and chewed up glue traps covering the kitchen floor, mouse droppings on the kitchen counter and a torn up glue trap under the couch with clumps of hair adhered to it. My husband had to scrub the floors with Clorox wipes as cleaning services were unavailable when this was discovered at 7:45 AM and we didn't want our toddlers touching and/or putting mouse droppings or pieces of sticky traps in their mouths. Upon notifying the property management company of our findings Friday morning (halfway through our stay) they offered to relocate us to a different home, however, the layout of that home was not suitable for our family which is why we did not rent that home when looking at properties. I contacted the exterminator who returned to the home and voiced concerns about a possible rat based on the appearance of the hair on the trap. I also contacted housekeeping to coordinate their return to the home. My husband and I notified the property management company about the exterminator's concerns and also expressed our growing frustrations with the situation and requested that some of our stay be compensated given that the rodent hadn't been caught and the alternative home offered was not appropriate for our family. They ensured us that they would do everything they could to try to make it right. On Saturday morning (the day before our trip ended) we caught a mouse with one of the snap traps that my husband purchased. In spite of housekeeping servicing the property daily my mother-in-law discovered mouse droppings in her pillowcase when she stripped the sheets on the day of our departure. After our stay had ended we made several attempts to contact the property management company about updates regarding the pending refund, but did not hear back from them until I escalated the situation to Vrbo. They offered to refund us for one of the four nights that we stayed in the home. We understand that situations especially those involving wildlife and pests can be difficult to control, however, we do find it irresponsible that the home was rented knowing that there was an active rodent infestation because we would not have stayed there had we been privy to this information. Now we are in the process of contacting the homeowner to make him/ her aware of the lack of support and care Cabin Rentals of Helen provided.

I have contacted them on three occasions over the past two months with complete disregard from the management team. It was bad enough dealing with them during our vacation rental but then topping it off by scamming consumers, was icing on the cake for us. Once you deal with them for a rental you will understand what I mean by saying; once you have completed the booking process they have no care about your needs, desires, or disappointments with their service or the rental locations themselves. Cabin owners and future vacationers do your homework before signing with this agency. We regret our stay and the unpleasant experience with this rental agency.

We booked several cabins for a recent family reunion. I'll start on the positive. The staff was so…read morefriendly and helpful in providing information and help in coordinating our luncheon in their pavilion. The surrounding woods were beautiful and the hot tube was a nice touch. That's it! These cabins must be owned by individuals because there was great differences in each cabin. Ours was the 3 Bears cabin and it was a dump! The pillows and mattresses were terrible! So old and rolled to center! The appliances were so outdated and the fridge froze our food and couldn't be adjusted. No dishwasher or w/d. Minimal and cheap options for dishes, that you had to wash w threats of $50 charge. Previous guest's soap was left in the dish. Gross! Who knows what else wasn't cleaned? The faucets were dirty and old and cheap. Sofa pillows had tears and holes. The walls and floors were so thin you could hear every move anyone made which made sleeping downstairs tough. Sliding door was incredibly hard to open. Terrible WiFi and you had to have engineering degree to watch anything on TV. Should have forfeited the hot tub and used that money to make the cabin livable. Don't book the 3 Bears Cabin!!!
