We opted for inside and to sit at the bar. It was super windy out and instead of battling the wind we sat at the bar. It was a beautiful view on a beautiful day. We got the sangria and the focaccia appetizer. Both were good. Sangria was very citrus forward. It worked on a hot day. The focaccia had 3 toppings and olive tapenade, balsamic and oil, and butter. All 3 were good and the focaccia was warm. It hit the spot. Service was very attentive. And inside they have TV's and outside the view of the lake. It very nice and the patio is fun. This is higher end so most of the prices and drinks are in the $13 and up range. Our bill for 2 sangrias and app was around $48. So just be aware. I'd go back. They have dinner and an Inn. Seems like a good place. Again the view of the lake was spectacular. Good place!

Disappointing experience -- will not return…read more We traveled from out of the country for a friend's proposal weekend at Vincent William, which had been planned for months. During our first visit, Tracy was welcoming and helped us choose the wine cellar as the proposal location. The day before, we met with her to confirm setup details since we would be decorating the space with flowers and candles. When we arrived the next day at our agreed-upon time, Tracy appeared surprised and seemed unaware the proposal was happening that day. She seemed flustered and inconvenienced, which was disappointing considering how much planning had gone into the weekend. While she did allow us to check in early (which we appreciated), the setup itself felt uncomfortable as we were supervised by a high school-aged employee despite everyone involved being adults in our 30s. The restaurant staff were wonderful and truly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience felt more restrictive than welcoming. We were stopped from briefly showing the engaged couple's friends their room, felt monitored regarding pool usage, and overheard staff discussing reporting the number of guests using the pool. We understand having rules, but the way these situations were handled made us feel like we were being treated as a problem rather than valued guests. The final issue occurred when we returned to the Inn around 1:45 a.m. and the owner knocked on our door shortly afterward stating that guests had complained about noise. We were respectful of other guests and made every effort not to disturb anyone. The property itself is beautiful, and the restaurant team was excellent, but the hospitality experience did not match the expectations for a property at this level. We came to celebrate a very special moment and left feeling unwelcome. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The day of the wedding we were allowed full use of the beautiful changing rooms where we had the hair stylist come in. Now we had the wedding and the reception there and both were perfection. The food was soo good but we had two special orders that came out nearly at the end of dinner service that was frustrating but all the other stuff that they did for us more then made up for that one minor slip up. Now truly the venue is beautiful, the food was delightful, but the true highlight of this place is the staff they are worth the five stars alone. The bartender we had was funny, nice, and mixed one hell of a good drink ( his Long Island ice tea on the beach so good and strong). The wonderful girls who waited on us not only helped serve food at the buffet, helped decorate, helped take things out to the car, and also kept a watchful eye on the guests (stopping a theft) but could not stop saying how lovely it was and how nice every one looked. Then the amazing event coordinator she was there helping with everything and was such a pleasure to work with! I plan to go to their restaurant soon! Live music on a sat evening with a beautiful view of the manicured property, we had a big table that they held for us ahead of time as we called an hour before getting there. They don't take reservations but if you give them a heads up, it'll be smoother for both parties. The place was so lively and everyone who served us were friendly and so accommodating! Our kids went outside and played catch while us adults relaxed and enjoyed the wines, you can see them from the massive windows. The food was wonderful, the goat cheese fondue isn't too rich like a traditional cheese, try it! The hanger steak was so tender and juicy, scallops were not overcooked. Honestly if you are in the area, take a peek at this place and try the local wines. The bottle prices are so fair! Not pretentious and the parking was plenty. The outdoor area is incredibly spacious, offering everything from a covered patio to seating right down by the vineyard with umbrella coverage. Whether you need an intimate two-seater, a large table for a group, or a standing-style arrangement around covered barrels, they have a space for it. They were even setting up for live music the night I visited, which added to the great atmosphere. What really struck me was how well-run this establishment is. Large venues can often be a logistical nightmare, but Laurentia operates masterfully. They use a controlled seating and walk-up ordering system for everything--wine, coffee, and food--which keeps things moving efficiently without feeling chaotic. The friendly staff then bring the food right to your table. Speaking of the staff, their work ethic and rapport are truly exceptional. You can tell they are proud of the operation and genuinely enjoy working with one another. As for the menu, the Syrah was exactly what I was hoping for and thoroughly enjoyable. The Chicken Gnocchi was excellent--cooked to a perfect al dente and packed with delicious pieces of chicken, bacon, and asparagus. It was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented; I intended to snap a photo but just couldn't wait to dig in! I finished the evening with coffee and the Key Lime Cheesecake. Restaurant coffee is often an afterthought, but this cup was wonderfully smooth and delicious. It was the perfect pairing for the cheesecake, which was incredibly fresh, perfectly set, and topped with beautifully ripe strawberries and a strawberry sauce underneath. (A quick, honest note for picky eaters: it didn't come with the mango puree that was advertised, but it was so delicious I didn't mind at all).

What's that going to cost. This ain't your father's Nickelodeon.

Stopped by to check out the Comedy Jam on Sunday Nights at Coffee Phix in South Euclid from 7:30pm…read moreto 9:00pm. It was a nice friendly group of local performers doing a number of improv games and then a couple of longer form pieces. Coffee Phix is a relaxed space with a neighborhood feel. The performance takes place in the front of storefront. The performers are a bunch of people of various ages and levels of improv who really seem to be enjoying themselves. For those who know improv games, the night I was there they did Challenge, Change, Song and a couple of others. Some of the bits well quite funny, others were a little rough, but all of the performers brought quite a bit of energy and enthusiasm. They did offer to let me join if I wanted, so I will probably go back and give it a try. There were only a couple of people watching and this is an event that would be helped by having more people show up to either watch or participate. If you are a comedy or improv fan here is a chance to see local people who are practicing their craft. Trucks should not be middle/front. 2. Twine should be provided to tie down lift gates. They're open everywhere and you can't see squat. Not to mention coolers, kids, and whatever else on the roof. People are arguing and getting ready to fight because these basic considerations are not advised or enforced. 3. Close the gates after movie start. Nothing is worse than being blinded by latecomers weaving around looking for spots. I love a drive in. But if I can't see from a truck something is wrong with the setup.

This is a small theater that tries to showcase local play writes as much as possible. Most of their plays are controversial, but have deep story lines that are very emotional. The actors are phenomenal at drawing those emotions out of you and really making your heart feel the stories. Make sure you read the plot of what you are going to see before you go so as not to be too surprised.

My friends and I are in law school, and I thought that petting some baby goats would give us a…read moremuch-needed break from our studies. My birthday was coming up and seemed like the perfect opportunity for this idea, so I contacted Feels Like Home Farm to set up a private "snuggle session" for six people. I expected to meet the baby goats, pet some alpacas, and be on our way, but the experience was so much more than that! Marcus (one of the owners) gave our group a full tour of the farm and told us so many interesting things about the animals there. Marcus is a great tour guide and really made the experience for us (and has great travel tips). We all walked away knowing a lot more about the animals on the farm and what taking care of them entails. While I was there, I didn't think about law school once! We all had plenty of opportunities to hold the baby goats, which were even more adorable than I imagined they would be. We also fed the alpacas and met a lot of other animals (adult goats, guard dogs, guard geese, and various cats). If you love animals but cannot have your own farm, or if you are up for a unique experience in the Cleveland area, I highly suggest booking a tour and snuggle session at Feels Like Home Farms! I will be back for goat yoga :)

I'm a huge adventure junkie and....this goat yoga party was one of my favorite adventures to date....This farm is literally a utopia... Feels Like Home Farm is AMAZING for: a) Private Parties - Reasonably priced and SO MUCH FREAKING FUN! Also so unique - you're never going to have another party like this! b) Goat Yoga Events - they run community yoga classes on a somewhat-regular basis throughout the year (schedule is on the farm's website!) and they're a great way to get out and try something new with friends. Their instructor, Deanna Black, is an excellent teacher and make the class very unique. I've been doing yoga for years and I'm kind-of a yoga snob....and I freaking love Deanna. Great way to support a local farm! If I could give Alissa (and her family), Deanna, the farm, the goats, the class, and the entire experience 1,000,000,000 stars, I would. I'll call out a couple things, although the list of positives is far too long to write: 1) The farm: Is STUNNING. LOTS of land and very peaceful. They have ~50 goats, primarily 4 different breeds. All are happy, healthy, ADORABLE, and super friendly. They also have 2 awesome dogs, a CUTE LITTLE PIG named Dottie (omg!), and happy ducks waddling around. Their neighbors let us meet their CRAZY-COOL mini donkeys, cows, and pigs! I honestly never wanted to leave. Alissa and her husband took us on a tour of the farm and taught us all about their animals!! It was AWESOME! 2) The people: Alissa, her husband, and her daughters were unbelievably passionate about what they do at the farm, loving towards their animals, and so excited to share their farm with us. Alissa was INCREDIBLY responsive to all of my requests, and personalized literally EVERY little thing about the party. She was very creative, and thought of ideas I NEVER would have (like bringing in a local food truck!). I interact with a lot of business owners through Yelp, and Alissa has been by far the most fun and passionate one yet. 3) The Yoga: If you want a good workout, Deanna's class is great. She is also EXCELLENT at leading guided meditations. I was so relaxed and present by the end of class. Deanna is also AWESOME at incorporating acro-yoga into her classes. We did some CRAZY moves I've never done before (see my pictures!) 4) Convenient location - The farm is only about 25 - 30 minutes from Ohio City and an easy drive. We had no issues with parking at all. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for making this such an unbelievably unique experience that none of us will forget!

You can hear some favorites and always discover some new band as well. Dennis Lloyd stole the show day 1 with Castlecomer knocking it out of the Park day 2. Of course Hozier and Sheryl Crow rocked the crowd. Fabulous food, drinks, Merch. This is one of the best organized events I have ever been to. Last year at Butler Campus. I can't wait to see where they go. Hard to beat this setting.

Enjoy lights www.lakemetroparks.com/events-activities/events/country-lights-2020-2/ We went on a Tuesday night, and I made a reservation on the site about an hour before we got there. Everything was super easy and there was no line when we showed up for our 7pm time slot. Two small negatives: 1. The price at $27 bucks is a bit steep. I've got a place fairly close to me in Allentown, PA that's been doing a driving light display like this for years which is $10 less or I could go to the one at Hershey Park which would be more lights than here but is still technically cheaper. 2. In a sort of, it's not their fault category, the day prior it snowed and several of the displays weren't fully visible due to being some version of snow covered/snow obstructed. Overall this one is nice but small and before you know it, you're done. Is it worth it? For a Grinch like me, it's a waste of money, for someone who loves their Christmas, they might see this as a good investment.

Pretty fun park, we normally go during horse fest. Lots of stuff to do here, there are wagons that…read morego up and down the hill pulled by horses or tractors. Dog friendly because the paths are paved and are wide. There are 2 playgrounds total, one of them is on the top of the hill and the other is at the bottom. There are restrooms that are not the best but work. There are a few picnic tables most of them are covered. Lots of animals and lots of horses during horse fest. Overall I recommend going during horse fest. (My review from Google maps)
