Good Coffee For All People!…read more Family owned and operated fresh roasted coffee! We've had their coffee, freshly brewed and buying a few bags of beans, for a few years now at Taylor markets and we are so happy to see them create a beautiful physical location. I got a Dillo (Armadillo) latte and it was sweet and layered with flavor. We learned that their signature Armadillo milk is their take on a tres leches sweet cream with a 3-milk mixture like in the cake. They had a small glass box of delicious looking pastry options. The location is near downtown and has lots of close street parking and parking spots across the street from empty buildings. The morning light that streams in is just gorgeous with the warm neutral accents of the inside. There are quite a few tables as well as some barstool seating on the main counter. If you'd rather enjoy the fresh air there are a few tables outside the shop in the shade. They have an area for merch so if you enjoyed your drink consider taking home a bag of their roasts for home! In this area they also have some non-coffee options and kid options. There is a large, clean single stall bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Check out their Instagram for updates on deals, brews, and their journey.

I would definitely return to see what else there is to offer. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Talked me through the menu options, and who can say no to a seasonal drink?! I absolutely cannot. I tried the sugar cookie latte with oat milk. The additional sugar cookie goat was a nice add on and tasted great as well. The other drink I ordered was a strawberry matcha. It was good, but if you're new to matcha - it still has the earthy finish. The pricing as reasonable as well.

With some remote work to do, I drove through Pflugerville into this apartment complex parking lot to try their coffee chain. In my discovery (Google), every LC apartment complex has a "The Goat" and a "Morning Ritual" in their front office. If this is their standard for amenities, what a luxurious apartment complex. I wanted my classic lavender oat milk latte. Their spring menu had a Lavender Honey Latte, which I ordered. Feeding my slight hunger, I also got their three buttermilk biscuits with strawberry preserves to pair with it. However, since I was not dining in at The Goat, I was banished to either sitting outside the restaurant or heading upstairs. It was partially humid, and I wanted to lock in on some work, so I opted for the upstairs. I was the only person up there. The downstairs had some steady traffic, but I was completely alone upstairs, which also had a micro-arcade and a bowling alley. What apartment complex am I even at? Service was pretty good as they seemed on top of it. The food was good, but it was three biscuits and strawberry jam. If they had somehow in some way messed that up, we'd be having problems. The coffee was pretty standard. I wasn't blown away by it, but it was clearly good and well made. I don't know Morning Ritual's true purpose as an outsider compared to a restaurant like The Goat, but I bet I'd be a lot happier with my apartment complex if they had a full coffee bar at the front office.

In addition, I do not have a Haraz Coffee House near me, so when I am near one of their locations, I make it a point to pop in. I love Haraz. I love the ambience. I love the coffee. I love the pastry selection. I love the service. The consistency I've experienced from location to location is top-notch. The cleanliness here is impeccable, too. That bears mentioning. My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. Also, they seem to have a high standard for hiring. The staff is always great. Please tip generously ;)

Love the unique additions to the menu over the typical options we see again and again. The adeni is my first choice, kind of like a spicier chai? I will say their options tend to lean on the sweeter side, so I always ask for less sweet if possible. Staff is always friendly and this location is clean with lots of seating!

Absolute delicious food and excellent coffee!…read more Everything that I've tried on the menu is excellent, a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion if you're looking for something quick and delicious. The baristas are always so nice, very knowledgeable about the menu and can answer any questions you might have. There's a TON of indoor seating (no outdoor seating available). They have arm chairs, a small couch, tables and chairs, and long tables with benches which are great for families or hosting meetings. My only complaint is that their hours are so short and the kitchen closes an hour before they close. So just make sure to come well before closing if you'd like to order food. Other than that, this place is such a gem in the middle of Hutto.

There are two in Round Rock, one off the square in Georgetown, and the one I have come to the most frequently, the Hutto location off East Street. When I was first looking for an apartment in the Hutto area, I decided to try Lamppost to see if Hutto had good coffee and was kind of disappointed that the latte I ordered was not that great in my opinion. After moving to the area and trying their coffee more frequently, my tune has changed on them, and I can say that they are pretty good. Their seasonal drinks are usually what I gravitate toward, like their Orange Chocolate Cortado, their Mr. and Mrs. Claus they served recently, and an espresso tonic I had earlier last year that was great. Their specialty Lamba Latte is one of the best consistent things on their menu. What is their Lamba syrup? I could not tell you, but it is a moderate sweetness that does not taste exactly like a vanilla latte. It has some marshmallow flavors and some caramel flavors as well. What I like most about Lamppost is how bright and naturally well lit their space is. The large windows and doors face the east, so once the sun has risen, you get a pretty well illuminated space by the afternoon. It is great for team meetings, remote work, and anything in between. I will continue coming back to Lamppost because they are the only place in Hutto that can really bring that sunshine with their coffee. RIYL: Lattes that you do not know exactly what is in them and they tell you to just #trust them.
