We even said something to the crew and owner and asked to put caution tape up and he gave us a smartass Comment and never did anything. He also had a 9-11 foot cut next to The walkway to backyard and refused to put any caution tape on that. We went and did it ourselves after a week. Beyond these issues the work is ok at best. He is supposed to be an engineer but the project has been shut down for 6 months because he can't engineer a set of front stairs the city will approve. The whole Neighborhood is fed up because hes been here so long. From my experience this guy is a total hack. If you cant follow basic safety principles to protect your client and the public from your work than you are unprofessional at best. I would Not recommend this company after seeing him operate for 6 months.

We had Allied Contracting install an Ella's Bubble walk-in tub, pocket doors on both our bathrooms,…read moreand attic access in our hallway. We could not be happier with the final result and we felt the cost of these task were quite reasonable. Ella's bubbles of New Jersey referred us to Allied Construction, saying they had worked with them before. John came out before we ordered the tub to scout the job. I ordered a tub without realizing that it was too large to fit through the door opening of the bathroom, and did not discover this until after it was delivered. Also, the drain and water supply on the tub were on the wrong side due to the location of the tub door and the toilet. John did not waver and said they would figure it out. Figure it out they did! They tore out the entire wall and vanity to get the very large tub in there. Carlos, the plumber who works for John, is a magician and did a beautiful job of rerouting the drainage and water supply and installing the tub with no room to speak of to work. I was really afraid at point that they would say this job was impossible! Carlos never gave up and in the end the installation was beautiful and the operation perfect! Since the bathroom wall was gone, John suggested we install a pocket door to replace the old 28 inch bathroom entry door that swung into the bathroom taking up valuable space. David and his brother Mr. E came in and installed the pocket door and re-did the electrical to move the light switch from the pocket door wall, wired up a new lighted medicine cabinet and did all the electrical and trim for the new tub. They did a magnificent job with all the electrical and trim. The bathroom is beautiful and looks new! We loved the pocket door and lighted medicine cabinet so much, we asked John to come back and do the same treatment to the master bathroom. We also wanted attic access added to our hallway, so that no one had to access through my wife's closet in the future. David and Mr. E came back along with David's son Randy and accomplished all these requests in 4 days! The prep work in our bedroom was really stepped up, with a lot of care as not to harm our bedroom furniture in any way! The results of the work were just as beautiful as the other job! The attic access is a pull down ladder in the hallway. David added a light and light switch up there and a large plywood platform for tools or storage. It turn out really cool! It was very unique to have a literal family of workers working on our house. They made us feel like part of their family while they were here! Their prep and clean up work was impeccable. John, the owner of Allied Construction is super laid back and very easy to work with hearing our plans and enhancing them further. We would highly recommend Allied Contracting for any project you have in mind!

Last year, Nolanco Roofing replaced a very old, flat roof on my California Room. I found Jeremiah…read morepleasant, dependable, and a very honest businessman. His price was reasonable, and the roof of that room looks wonderful! Because of my wonderful experience with him and his company last year, his company was who I called a few weeks ago to get my house's roof totally replaced since it was quite clear that it was on it's way out. Jeremiah promptly sent out Thomas to measure everything and to give me the estimate. The estimate came in at my expectations. Because I already knew that I was dealing with honest people, I must admit that I didn't do what consumers are supposed to do and get more bids. Because another customer rescheduled their project with them, they were able to start work on my roof immediately. They showed up promptly to clear off the old roof, and it was done quickly. They did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. Then, Jeremiah again proved to me how honest he is. First of all, he told me that it is very uncommon to not have to replace any of the boards on the roof but yet I had none that needed to be replaced. Also, when I thought that my fascia boards might need to be replaced by them because they were looking ratty, he told me that they had inspected every board and all were in good condition and did not need to be replaced; they just needed to be painted. Basically, he did not try at all to sell me something that I did not need. My final cost was what the estimate was. That said, my situation was unusual because everything was still in good condition, and another customer might not have everything in good condition which would increase the cost. If that happens, though, with Nolanco you can be assured that what they say needs to be replaced really does need to be replaced. Alex, the roofer did an excellent job of installing the roof. I have already referred my sister to them to do her house. Because of termite damage, she will need a lot of boards replaced. In that case, her price will be higher than the estimate, but I have no doubt that what they charge her for replacing boards will be a fair and competitive price. In case you can't tell, I highly recommend Nolanco for your roofing needs. BTW, I did learn the hard way that you should clap if you want the roofer's attention and not just start talking to him. Alex didn't know that I was there until I startled him by talking to him. He almost fell backwards off of the roof, but fortunately he was able to balance himself. Sorry, Alex! Now others know to clap to get your attention!

The project started out fine at first-I sent Jeremiah a couple of pictures of a small roof that…read moreneeded new shingles and he gave me a good price. The first problem I had with him was when he asked for more money. I was planning on giving him a tip anyway, but asking for more money when a price was agreed upon in advance in my experience is a bad approach to doing business. After several delays, he finally finished just before a rainstorm set in. The roof leaked, and not only did he decide it was more important to get new tires on his truck than repairing his faulty work, but in the discussions we had by text (he wouldn't take my phone calls) he called me a dumb ass and a little b**ch! I have been a licensed contractor for 53 years and have never been treated like this by any of my customers or fellow contractors. I have seen his other reviews and I'm sure the meltdown he had isn't a regular occurrence, but he does seem to have anger issues.
