We've used DRS for multiple projects, both big and small, and they've been fantastic every time! They're reliable, professional, and do high-quality work with great attention to detail. The team communicates well, stays on schedule, and makes the whole process easy. It's hard to find a contractor you can truly trust, but they consistently deliver. And what a perk that it's a family owned and operated business. Highly recommend! read more

After a disaster contractor messed up our home renovations, we needed someone quick to fix the mess. I contacted Desantis Renovations and Nick came out the next day to assess the situation. His team took over and installed new tile throughout the entire house and also renovated our kitchen. Nick was so easy to work with and the communication was excellent, I knew what was going on every step of the way. That was my biggest take of the project as the clear and transparent communication helped me regain my trust with another contractor. We are so happy with the results and love our house! Thank you Nick and Damian and team! read more

Nick and Damien have are the absolute best at what they do, including bathroom and kitchen remodels, installing plank flooring, drywall repairs, and helping with design decisions. DRS is very proactive and communicate well so that the job flows smoothly. They are a small job specialist, as well. They have repaired gates, installed window blinds, caulked exterior stucco.... You name it, they do it. DRS is my go-to for any type of property work. read more

Desantis Renovation Solutions - General Contractors Near Me - San Diego, California

DeSantis renovation is locally owned in PB. Damien and Nick DeSantis have limited their business to the PB area so they can be available immediately if needed. We found this to to be the case whenever we had a concern or question. They both are extremely knowledgeable about desgn and construction and have a good crew who are also reliable and skilled. Nick is very tactful and helps make good decisions. He is fair and honest and we highly recommend this company. read more

We used Desantis to remodel our entire condo and two years later everything is still in great shape! We recently needed some additional drywall repairs. I reached out to Desantis and they were able to get the repairs done same day! Nick and Damian are always quick to get things handled and are also reasonably priced. We will continue to use their services for all future projects! read more

I appreciate Nick responding to my review. I spoke with him today and explained that Penny Realty lied to him about the "remaining funds in my account." Penny asked Nick to lower his fees to get under the $100 maintenance threshold in the management agreement (more than $100 they need Owner approval which they did NOT get). Penny knew they were in breach of the contract so they asked Nick to change his invoice. Nick and I spoke about the additional work performed but unfortunately Penny never shared the blinds measurements with me. I had to pay another person to measure the blinds in November. We discussed that the invoices should provide more transparency so Owners are aware of discounts given and the actual repairs made. 90 minutes for this job seems excessive. It's unfortunate that Nick was caught in the cross-hairs of a manipulative property manager, Penny Realty, but I may work with Nick in the future for home repairs. In the future he should be aware of the end clients who pay the actual invoices. read more

Nick and his team were awesome. The bathroom remodel is beautiful. Nick delivered on his commitment to finish the job in 3 weeks. I would highly recommend using Nick and his team for future projects. read more

I had DR renovate my entire home and they were amazing. They are excellent general contractors with multiple reliable resources for each type of service (plumbing, painting, tile, flooring, etc.). I appreciated their guidance on design and finishes as well as their incredible attention to detail and quality work. read more

Nick and Damien and their entire crew were fantastic. They helped us achieve exactly what we envisioned for our bathroom remodel. They looked for ways to help us save costs along the way, suggesting materials that were high quality and durable, yet cost effective. They were always accessible by phone/text/etc., and got our project done in the time frame and for the cost that was estimated upfront. In addition, they were adaptable along the way when we changed our mind on some details, and they saw the whole project through to the finish. We will be using them again in the future for any renovation needs we may have. read more

I've had assistance from Desantis Renovation Solutions for over two years now and they are an incredible team with terrific service. Kind, reliable, quick, and precise, and explain everything in detail. Really looking forward to continuing with them for any and all future needs and highly recommend if you need something fixed or replaced in your home! 12/10! (Specific thank you to Damian! Professional Perfection! Having worked with contractors in restoring homes for 25+ years, my experience with DRS really sets them apart. From planning our bath remodel to final detailing on the finished work, Nick Desantis was in communication every step of the way, responding cheerfully and precisely to my OCD tendencies concerning details, offering solutions as small issues came up and generally insuring that the project was completed exactly as we wanted, on time, within the budget. The end result -- modernizing and redesigning a 70's condo bathroom -- was exactly what we hoped for. His team of subcontractors performed with precision and coordination. Can't wait to begin my next project with Nick and his team! read more

I met Nick on a job site recently in Pacific Beach. I was painting the place and Desantis Renovation Solutions was remodeling an addition. I got to see some of their work and met his crew. I found them to be very professional and great communicators, and the work itself was top notch. I'd give these guys a try! read more

We called DeSantis Renovation Solutions from the airport early Monday morning as we had a leak in our vacation apartment's toilet that we discovered late Sunday, spoke with Nick, before we took off he had paid a visit to the apartment as he was nearby, gave us his recommendation and price, we picked a new flooring online, and by the time we landed two hours later they had purchased materials and were getting ready to work on the toilet/floor! The next day the job was completed, on time for our guests to arrive on Wednesday, and the pictures show a beautiful job. Very pleasant and easy to work with, to say the least! We are definitely keeping their contact info and will not hesitate to use them again in the future! read more

Nick and his team were awesome to work with. I highly recommend them for any sort of home remodel. Nick is reliable and gets the job done.

We were fortunate enough to be introduced to Nick DeSantis because of another project he had going on in our complex. After an introduction and an evaluation of the work at hand we decided to hire Nick. The funny thing was that at the time, we really really wanted a painter. We had some very tired old colors in our house but when we considered that Nick had the crew to make our home reno dreams possible, we decided to give the bucket list. Nick quoted our project which was pretty comprehensive and with a price point where we could see tons of value for the outcome. Because Nick gave an estimate that was realistic, we completed ALL bucket list projects. As soon as the project kicked off, I was extremely impressed with the hands on approach that Nick took. He works with his brother Damien and they are a great team. In summary, we installed kitchen backsplash tile, new flooring in the bedroom, crown moulding in our den, installed new can lights, moved other electrical, added more light, painted our entire condo from top to bottom (base boards, trim, walls). And when I say we, I mean Nick's team. Nick works with an incredible group of subs. From Brian and Cody, to Ben, Alfredo & Jamie and to the guys at Kennedy Electric. These guys are the real deal. Attention to detail, On Time, Trustworthy and Reliable. They are all good people. I honestly could not have been happier with the results of this reno, we tip our hat to Nick and his awesome team for their incredibly hard work. These guys are the best in the beach and an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the workmanship of this team and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know each of these gentleman as they were working their butts off at our house. Nick, We can't thank you enough for giving us a home we are so proud of. You are a true professional with a heart of gold. PB and the surrounding beach areas are lucky to have such an awesome contractor here in our backyard. read more

I am extremely happy with DRS. I only had a small job to convert a tub to a walk-in shower. - They were easy to communicate with before, during, & after the job. - They allowed me flexibility to research & choose components. - Each of the subs showed up on time, did great work, & cleaned up. - The cost was very reasonable. If you need any home or condo renovation, this should be your first call. read more

Desantis Renovations was recommended to me by a friend. They renovated my entire bathroom. Nick's communication was great and all the people who came into my home were very respectful and did great work. I fact, Nick insisted one area of paint be redone when he felt it was not up to his standards. Would highly recommend. read more

Desantis Renovation Solutions has done such an amazing job on my place. Not only do they do flawless work, but they are great with their response time and communication. I have worked with a lot of maintenance/handymen/renovation companies in the past but D.R.S. is by far the best. I worked closely with Damian throughout my renovation and he's amazing. He always comes in ready to work, very professional, prepared and with a smile on his face. Nick is the same way. Although I haven't worked with him as closely, he's available to speak to whenever I need to. Shout out to Doug who did a great job with helping out as well. Everyone at Desantis Renovation Solutions has been second to none. Highly Highly recommend! read more

They did a complete bathroom renovation, tearing it down to the studs. They also painted, and did some shelving and various other things I needed to move-in to my new condo. They were courteous, professional, and completed everything in a timely manner. Their prices are lower than all contractors I had contacted previously. Nick the owner, went out of his way to run to Home Depot for me to pick up other things I needed as we went along with the re-model. I trusted them enough to give them a key to my condo while I had to go out of town on an emergency. My bathroom turned out awesome, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of work. read more

Very attentive, respond to all communication promptly and professionally. Work was done on time and on the designated dates. Very trustworthy, I trusted them with lock box while no one was home. I think the work itself was expensive and because of this, I give them 4/5 stars for value for the $, but 5 overall because you can't put a price on honesty! read more

I've used DRS multiple times. For small and large jobs. They're always great about answering and returning calls, being on time and are a friendly, honest group. Most importantly they do great work. I asked Nick if he do a complete remodel on a bathroom during the ten days our tenants were in Europe. His reply was "no problem". His bid was very fair. His crew was professional in all ways. I recommend Nick and his company without reservation. read more

These guys are professional, honest & do a fantastic job. I really like that they treat me as an equal and don't "talk down" to me since I am a lady and not a man . They carefully explained things to me and discuss all that needs to be done. Most important they ask for approval for what needs to be done and have stuck to their competitive bids without going over. They work hard, are fair and I trust them. I have had them do A LOT of work; once they accidentally damaged a door, he called me over, showed it to me and told me it was their fault (even though I thought it could be patched he told me it would compromise the door lock) and they immediately went out and purchased a new one and took full responsibility for it and didn't charge us for it! I was impressed and still am. I switched to using them for maintenance that we need as well and have now used them for 3 years now and am so happy I found them. read more

Desantis Renovation Solutions has completed two week-long remodeling projects for me, involving removal of carpet and installation of hardwood flooring, tile flooring, painting and total bathroom make-over. Nick, the owner, worked closely with me, personally helping me select the perfect wood and tile choices and even walking through Home Depot with me for light fixtures, faucets, sink, etc. Every individual on his crew was a master at his speciality, arrived on time and ALWAYS left my home as tidy as possible at the end of a workday. Whenever I have a question about home maintenance, Nick has a ready answer. I highly recommend this company and look forward to tackling my next remodeling phase with them. read more

These guys do it all and do it well! One stop shopping for all your home improvement needs! I've hired DRS inc. for several projects on my properties and they've always done an amazing job. Their pricing is very competitive, their crews are professional, punctual, and courteous. They always provide me with several options for doing a repair and have never tried to sell me on the most expensive option. On several occasions, I've called them when we've had copper pipe bursts and they've come out same day to make the repairs so we weren't without water for very long. Projects they've done for me include travertine tile work, copper water line relocation, installed an outside shower, installed ceiling mount bathroom vents, drywall repair and a custom glass shower installation. I have gone through 7 remodels and a full house renovation and I have never had such dedication from the contractor from day one to help with EVERYTHING!! Nick, the owner, contractor, has met with me at various companies to help me select everything for a complete remodel of a 2BD-2BA condo. In just about a week or less we have chosen everything, he has filled out the lengthy 31 page HOA "architectural package" required by the HOA and is totally involved and remembers all of my questions or concerns!! Not only do they do condos (which can be trying) but they have a FULL crew for maintenance and property management. I started doing these several projects, rentals, etc. in 1976. I have never worked with a company that comes remotely close to giving the service that this company gives and at a very fair price!!! I highly recommend them and feel confident in recommending them whole heartedly! He and his group of trusted workers have a special touch. Read their reviews and I think you will find that everyone has been highly satisfied!!! read more
