I called on a Thursday for a shut off valve issue with my toilet. In short, I wasn't getting any…read morewater flow from the valve into the tank, so I assumed there was a clog. And if not, this was surely an issue far beyond my level of expertise. Their earliest availability was the following Monday (4 days) later, which was sooner than I expected. They kept me on stand by for the following day (Friday), but no such luck. My service window was 9 AM - 12 PM and two technicians showed up directly to my door around 9:30. Also sooner than I expected. I was impressed not only by the timing but also their sense of direction. Getting to my condo unit can be confusing with the various gate entrances, but these guys clearly knew what they were doing. Most people get lost. Not these guys. This job required a water main shut off in my HOA and they knew exactly where to go. They were friendly and professional and in and out in under 1 hour 30 minutes. The only reason I am at 4 stars is because I was quoted $225 for the job, but was charged $325. That seems a bit off, but the job was done swiftly and so I didn't bother challenging them.

Unfortunately, things began to fall apart shortly before finalizing my cabinet order. My final renderings were never properly completed. One entire room was missing from the plans, and major updates that were requested - including switching from frameless to framed cabinets (which affects cabinet sizing) - were never reflected in the drawings. It became very difficult to get in touch with anyone to finalize the order or receive updated plans. Eventually I went into the store in person, where Liad offered to "fix and finalize" everything on the spot. He manually drew out the new layout and entered the order on his phone, assuring us he was taking care of everything. However, no formal layout, purchase order, item list, cabinet sizes, or updated renderings were ever provided. I was told we could rely on the existing renderings and that getting formal updates from the designers would take too long. After paying, we heard nothing until my contractor informed me that cabinet boxes were being delivered. The delivery arrived without any paperwork, purchase order, or layout for my contractor and cabinet installer to reference. Once installation began, we discovered multiple issues: missing items, incorrect cabinet sizes, missing panels, and accessories that were the wrong size. Trying to resolve these problems was extremely frustrating. It was again difficult to reach Liad until we went back into the store. He repeatedly asked us to provide a list of what needed to be fixed, but that was difficult because we were never given a purchase order or layout showing what was actually ordered. What stood out most was the change in demeanor. Conversations that were initially helpful became defensive and dismissive. At one point he even questioned whether our installers "knew what they were doing," and suggested modifying cabinets to make incorrectly sized accessories fit instead of addressing the ordering mistakes. At this point I have had to purchase replacement panels, shelves, and accessories out of pocket from another cabinet store just to keep the project moving. Both my contractor and cabinet installer -- as well as staff at the other cabinet supplier -- were shocked by the experience and confirmed that this is not how a cabinet ordering process should work. My advice if you choose to work with this company is to triple-check everything and get all documentation in writing before paying. Make sure you receive final drawings, a purchase order, item numbers, and cabinet dimensions. It's unfortunate to have such a stressful experience during what should be an exciting part of a home remodel. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. There are many other cabinet suppliers that provide clearer communication and proper documentation.

I reached these people from an ad on Facebook (which should've been my first clue) and was…read moresurprised they were willing to set up an appointment same day. They took my information (just name/address /phone) and said they would be here at 6:30p. They then sent a video using my name, date, and time on a white board (to show it was real, I guess? That made me highly suspicious of deep fakes, tho) to confirm my appt and let me know some details before they showed up. One of the details was the price. The lowest price mentioned was $12,000. Not to remodel the entire bathroom, but ONLY to replace the tub/surround. Also, the material they use is BP-Cor2, a composite polymer that contains 85% ABS plastic and 15% Acrylic. Google says this is actually a pretty safe, non-toxic material (so that's good), but the adhesive fumes are another story and it takes 24-48 hours for all that to be done. That sounded exorbitant. They do offer a lifetime warranty, but I may be selling my place within the year, so that really wasn't a factor in my decision. So I called to cancel, was put on hold, then hung up on twice. Not sure what that was about, so I texted back to the number that sent me the link and said to cancel my appointment, then I texted stop to unsubscribe. Got a call back almost immediately after that from the guy I originally talked to, who tried to change my mind. I would say it was a medium sell - not hard, but definitely he tried a few tactics before giving up. When he finally realized I was not going to relent, he said he canceled everything, which was great. About a week or two later, I received a call from them trying to sell me their service again. I pointed out that I had unsubscribed from everything and was not going to follow through with the appointment. They called yet again another week later, trying to sell me the same crap. At this point, there is no way they could've convinced me to change my mind. I do not work with people who do not listen when you cancel something. Beware of giving them your information.

When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. He was very patient with us. We LOVE how everything turned out! We'll definitely be using Lumina Builders for all of our future projects.

First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! Very professional, was exactly as they proposed, and went above and beyond such as stepping in and installing appliances when the appliance company didn't do what they had promised. Nick and Damian at DRS are so nice and easy to work with and completely trustworthy. His crew was very professional and did an excellent job with taking care of the details in the renovation project. I was most impressed when they laid down thick cardboard on the floor to prevent any scratching during the construction. They really take care of their clients. They left baseboards out in the rain overnight and installed them. They purchased the wrong swinging door and hacked away to make it fit rather than purchasing the correct door. He is very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Dawn helped coordinate everything from permits and construction to inspection and finalization. He made the process as hand-free for as possible for us. Along the way, Dawn helped us resolve many unforeseen issues and also came up with great creative solutions and suggestions. He was always happy to accommodate any of our requests or feedbacks. We really appreciate his assistance! Our designer team, Ben, Liri and Hodaya, are also great. They came up with beautiful designs for our kitchen and bathrooms based on our preferences. The 3D renders that they made were very helpful in visualizing the designs before we fully committed. They also helped us pick and shop for all materials. Throughout the process, they are very communicative and accommodating. The subcontractors we worked with are all nice and offer good quality work. Dawn did a great job managing and inspecting their work everyday. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience with Forever Builders' cabinet vendor. This vendor made so many mistakes with our orders. Notably they shipped us incorrect cabinet door types and refused to replace unless we pay extra. Some brand new cabinets came in with scratches and dings and therefore needed to be replaced. This added substantial delays to our projects. In the end, Forever Builders had to cut tie with them and work with a new vendor who was good. They helped resolve any pending problems. In construction especially with a big project like ours, we can't expect that everything will go smoothly. We can tell that Dawn and Forever Builders have tried their best to make sure we are satisfied with everything. Therefore, I do recommend them if you are looking for a reliable company for your future remodel.

From the beginning, they went above and beyond. When my first tile delivery arrived, they inspected **every single tile individually**, identified that a significant amount of the material was nonconforming, and helped me document the issues so I could obtain a refund. They were then incredibly patient while I sourced replacement tile and never made me feel rushed. During installation, they were extremely thoughtful about tile placement and layout and kept me informed and involved in decisions every step of the way. They also discovered an issue with my hood vent that had been caused by a prior contractor and took the time to properly remedy it before completing the backsplash. Their work was clean, precise, and completed in a timely manner. What impressed me most, though, was **Vitallii's personal involvement and ownership of the project**. Vitallii sold me the job, but unlike many contractors who disappear once the project begins, he was at my home **every single day**, overseeing the work and making sure everything was being done correctly. That level of accountability and hands-on supervision is incredibly valuable and gave me tremendous confidence throughout the project. Communication throughout the project was clear, responsive, and professional. We always knew what to expect and when. From start to completion, my experience with Long Bros Construction was fantastic. Angel arrived…read moreon time for the estimate appointment and was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what the company could offer. He provided the estimate in a timely manner and worked with us to tailor it as we decided what exactly we wanted to do. I believe that the price provided was fair and a good value considering the scope of work. The job ended up including the replacement of a garage side door, major repair of stucco around a new electrical panel (including inside the garage) plus stucco repairs around the entire exterior, repainting of all stucco repairs, and repair and repainting of all wood trim including the new door and the front door. Fred was the project manager/foreman assigned to our project and he was also a consummate professional. He was there daily and took care of supervising the multiple subcontractors who were onsite working as well as doing a lot of work himself. He was very good at keeping me in the loop and went over and above to deliver an excellent job. All the subcontractors were pleasant and were great about cleaning up at the end of each day. There was a lot of work to be done but they started on a Tuesday and were done by the next Tuesday. If we have any other home projects or have friends who have home improvement projects, I will not hesitate to contact or recommend Long Bros Construction.
