James also answered my cell phone call right away after the second ring even though James told me he is in San Diego, CA yesterday working on another plumbing repair job in his customer's house. Also James said he wants to save me a lot of money and I was really surprised by his statement, he told me yesterday afternoon, because usually when I have hired some plumbing companies in the past. These companies have been really greedy and they overcharge me for my plumbing repairs that needs to be done on my mom's house. It was a breath of fresh air for me to talk to James the owner of Home Pro Plumbing yesterday because of his Honesty with me. James quotes me the price of $189.00 for his labor in completing the Kitchen Faucet Replacement Service. James advised me to call the Moen Kitchen Faucet Company where this faucet was manufactured and ask if this Moen Company that has a lifetime warranty on all of their parts to explain to Moen this issue with my Moen Faucet leaking now. James told me that Moen will give me the new part for FREE and this Moen Company will ship out this part to me all I have to do is pay for the shipping fee which is a minimum charge and very little like $6.00. I was very happy that James cared enough about me to save me money. James told me that if I make the decision to ask him to buy a New Kitchen Faucet from Lowe's Home Improvement Store or at Home Depot in Oceanside, CA then it will cost me more money for the part and for his labor. James quoted me the price of his labor including this Kitchen Faucet the total cost will be $333.00. He actually worked with my Insurance Adjuster, and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket, except for an unforeseen leak with wall damage after the initial estimate was done. He had his employees there around 8 am every day they were supposed to be there. Alex and Marcus (i am not sure of the names, but hopefully I got it right) did the drywall/patching of the mess of my kitchen. Then the cabinet team finished it off, painted everything exactly matching the original paint, and put all the appliances back where they belonged. The kitchen looked brand new, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. The timeline was as first estimated. If there were any issues, Jim took care of it! The sales rep even got on the phone and assisted in opening the insurance claim by getting on the phone with my insurance and not identifying himself as the Mighty Dry Sales rep, which I'm not sure if that's conflict of interest. In my case my insurance denied my claim, now I am left with a huge bill from Might Dry. My emails and my phone calls to their billing department continue to be ignored since 8/25/26.

Two were forgettable. Express Dry was not. Let's start with the basics: they showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I didn't know that was still a thing. From the first call to the final walkthrough, communication was consistent and clear, no chasing anyone down, no vague timelines, no "someone will be there between 8am and never." Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. Shout out to Christian, Omar, and the rest of the crew whose names I absolutely should have written down -- I'm sorry, you all deserved better from me. Meticulous. Professional. Health-conscious. Thankfully, I had the best people to get this situation resolved quickly. I worked with Arturo Ramirez (from San Diego)'s team from start to finish. Arturo came to give an assessment of what is going on, what needs to be done, and when they are going to do so. The preparation they did before the work was amazing. I have carpet upstairs and they put plastics on everything so there would be a minimal cleaning in the end. Arturo communicated with me on everything they are working on. After all done, they cleaned everything, they put back my toilet with no issue, the walls are painted and textured. I didn't think that they were cutting any corners or trying to get it all done and get my money and be out. Only small issue I had was the communication about the invoices with their accounting team. I had to call them multiple times to get it updated since I needed the bills split between HOA and me. But in the end they got it all figured out.
