We were looking at RV that we found through RV trader. my husband was very excited about it because it was advertised it came with a 2 year warranty with the sale price. we called and asked if it was still available before my husband came down and looked at the RV and it was still available. The next day he went down and had a very hard time finding the Dealer as it is not a "normal" location for a Dealership. It was in a industrial business side of Salmon Creek area tucked back in this warehouse parking lot area. I later the same day went and saw the same RV after work and had hard time finding it aswell. I also thought I put in the wrong address. but sure enough I saw the RW Banner on the building and saw a few RW parked out front including the one I went to go see.
They had about 6 RVs all blocking the main warehouse area. i called out a few times thinking there wasn't anyone around. i had to peak into the warehouse which i would assume were the detailers or mechanics areas. they were very disorganized, extremely messy with things all over. I continued on to find the small main office and met the sale associate.
She took me back to the RV i had interest in and i walk around inside and it was very clean, you can tell they definitely detailed the inside of RV. i asked a bunch of questions, and asked about the Generator and if it will be tuned and check out before the purchase if we went through with it. She said she's pretty sure but would have to check with the owner and would ask Jorge if it needed. she left and asked Jorge those questions. She came back with Jorge to answer any questions I had. he explained a few things to me and it caught me off guard when he said "Im pretty sure we will do the tune up on this one but i have to ask the Owner." i thought "pretty sure?" i thought to myself don't you do one on every RV or vehicle?
We left the RV and went back to the office and we went in and sat down. the office was extremely disorganized and so messy. paperwork everywhere. i got to thinking if this is how they run their office and I'm a little concerned on how they run their business and the checks on their RVs and so forth. I asked again about the Warranty that came with if its bumper to bumper or just main things, engine, transmission etc. the associate did not know off the top of her head and did not have any paperwork ready incase of that question was asked and she had to call someone to confirm the information before relaying it back to me. she showed me her pamphlet showing what the Warranty would cover and the name of the warranty. i asked if i could take a copy home and think about it and talk to my husband about it. we were still very interested in getting the RV and asked what the cost of a deposit would be to hold the RV for a few days while we move our finances around to put the down payment on it. she said "uh, well no i'm sorry the Warranty pamphlet has to stay here." i was shocked and taken back by it and confused wondering why, because they had a handful sitting on their shelf in the office making it look like anyone could take one. i asked the associate why i couldn't' take it home, it was just to discuss which extra options we wanted to buy with the warranty. she said the Owners of the company doesn't want people to take the pamphlet and possibly take it to our competitors and spill their "great" warranty company. i was completely turned off by this. if it was a great company like you said why wouldn't you allow me take it home? who cares who we show the pamphlet to? i asked if i could at least write the name of the company down so i can look it up when i get home and discuss it then with my husband. She gave me a post it and i went to go write it down and she said " actually why don't you just take a picture, i don't want to get in trouble because the owners really don't want this information leaving the office". after leaving the lot i looked online and found a few reviews and especially 1 stating they fix the RVs just enough to get them off the lot and then the "warranty" that's included with sale takes care of any issue from there. I told my husband about them not wanting us to take the pamphlet home sounded like they were hiding something.
From the beginning from being in a awful location, the warehouse area not being cleaned and full of trash for anyone to see, the office was very disorganized, and their employee being scared to let me have a pamphlet of their products they want to sell to people, and their other associate say about the tune up on the generator "I'm pretty sure we will do a the tune up on this one" absolutely took the cake. My husband and i have been looking at RVs the past 3 weeks and this is by far the lowest of all the lots we have been to. we not be going back again. read more
