I'm the general manager of a large scale HOA, and we had 10 wooden patio covers and trellises that needed work. They helped us get rid of two, and they replaced the other eight with Elitewood Ultra. Several of these were large, curved covers and one was a large gazebo with a gabled roof, which required replacement of the asphalt singled roof as well. Dave did the initial estimation for me, and Louie mostly took over from there, but everyone at Take Cover was knowledgeable and easy to work with. They got the permits for our project with relative ease, and the communication and scheduling were great throughout the completion of the project. I'm so looking forward to not having to repaint them every 4-6 years or worry about any termites like our old wooden covers! It's been several months now, and they are performing and looking great. However, the way this company has handled a clear mistake is extremely disappointing. During installation, their team drilled into the tile on our second-floor balcony and failed to seal the holes. When it rained shortly after, water came through those openings and caused damage to the ceiling in our dining room below. This was entirely preventable and directly tied to the installation. What's more concerning is what happened next. I've spent weeks trying to get this resolved. I've been in contact with their employee (Elizabeth), who acknowledged the issue and repeatedly said it would be taken care of. Despite those assurances, there has been zero follow-through. Communication has been inconsistent at best, and more recently I've been completely ignored. At this point, the issue is no longer just the damage; it's the lack of accountability. Mistakes happen. Ignoring a customer after causing property damage is a much bigger problem. If you're considering this company, just be aware: the install may go well, but if something goes wrong, you may be on your own. I'm still hoping they step up and resolve this properly, but based on my experience so far, I would proceed with caution.

We decided to go with Juan and Raul for our patio, and I'm really glad we did. Their team showed up not just on time, but early on the day of demo and installation. They worked efficiently and completed everything in just one day, which honestly exceeded our expectations. What I appreciated most was how easy it was to communicate with both Juan and Raul. They were responsive, patient with my questions, and very open to making adjustments to fit exactly what we wanted. I never felt brushed off or rushed, which is rare. The workmanship turned out clean and solid. The structure feels sturdy, everything looks well-aligned, and the finish came out exactly how we envisioned. Paradise Patio Covers recently installed an insulated Duralum brand aluminum cover over my rear…read morepatio. Owner Eric was very professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We had to accommodate a unique roofline and Eric helped figure it out, though it seems that the materials are best suited for a straight-forward, plug-and-play installation with minimal customization. The pricing was competitive. We opted to have six can lights, a ceiling fan (the fan was provided by us and they installed it), and two outlets installed. After signing the contract, the installation occurred roughly 4-6 weeks out due to their full installation schedule, so plan accordingly and book as soon as you feel comfortable if you know you want to go with them. The installation team (five workers total, led by Jesus) was quick, efficient, and respectful. They installed the cover in one day and left the area clean prior to departing. Here are a couple of minor "issues" we encountered... one post is not completely square/perpendicular to the nearby patio edge, so this is a bit more obvious to see, but not terrible. The covered outlets they installed were standard indoor style. I chose to replace them with GFCI outlets (cost me $40 total at Home Depot) since they are outdoors and one has a fountain plugged into it. I would recommend Paradise Patio Covers to friends and neighbors and would definitely use them again.
