This establishment is incredibly lucky to have this young lady. I've never felt so comfortable in my eye doctor's office, until now. I will definitely be coming back because the staff here is so friendly. My last eye doctor did not treat me with the respect Comprehensive Eye Care's staff did. I felt heard, understood and respected. This is so rare. Dr. Derksen is the best eye doctor I've ever encountered. She explained things to me so I could understand what's going on with my sight. I can't give enough praise to this office. From the check in process to the check out process, everyone you encounter here greats you with a warm welcome. I'm incredibly impressed with how amazing this office is!

I made an appointment at Americas Best in Springfield, and this was the best experience I have ever. The store was clean, well kept, and everyone was super nice. Roberta and Tammy were so kind with helping me, and accommodated me with my wheelchair. The Optometrist was also great. He doubled checked my vision, and made sure my eye were healthy. He was very thorough, but also quick! There was a pair of glasses I wanted that I had bought years ago, and Roberta called a store in Arizona to get me the last pair in the country! She went above and beyond for me. Tammy could relate to what to what I was going through, and treated me like family. Thank you all for being so kind, and understanding my situation. It means so much to me.

Second Eyeglasses: Not the same prescription, I have problem wearing. Third Eyeglasses: I bought frames to put the the first eyeglass lenses in and whoever did the work put a screw in that was totally different in style and color from the other screws. It wouldn't tighten down. It was not stripped, it was the wrong size. I will never go back to America's Best.

Being in customer service myself and being treated this way is very Frustrating. My eye appt was on Aug .17 of 2024 and here we are into November and still haven't received my new glasses. Have phoned the office multiple times and get different answers each time. Funny how you receive 50 emails about making appt to get your eye check up and then after they have your money$$$ NOTHING BUT CRICKETS.. I will be changing eye doctors ASAP... Would recommend to anyone who currently uses this place or is considering it to do the same!!!

I stopped in to see if they could fix them and of course, they were out of warranty... so they said they were on back order till March, but they would let me know if they came in earlier. I called to see what was happening and she said someone called me in January and I hadn't returned their call, so she said your glasses are here! so, I checked my phone before I got there and they did leave a message and I did return the call that day...When I got there, I wanted to show them my phone messages but they were not interested... So, I asked how much I owed and she said nothing and I was like OK, so I picked up the glasses in a plastic bag, and they were the broken pair... Now I did raise my voice as I think a lot of people would because why would you not call me back after a month of me using old glasses that I told them I had a hard time seeing with ... The lady in the back came out and told me to quiet down or leave but I just wanted to explain my side of the story but was told to LEAVE!! So over a month later and still no new frames... Of course, I will go somewhere and get a new pair, but I think this could have had a different ending If the customer (me) could have had a chance to tell his side of the story... Bruce

I have nothing bad to say about her. The only thing I would say is I hope she has changed her office manager. This lady, in her attempt to keep Dr. Gehm on schedule would be quite rude to customers. Going as far as telling them she should not have schedule them! And no I do not mean that because of over booking, she meant it as she did not want to have you as a patient. Which in the end reflected poorly on Dr. Gehm and potentially hurt her business. I'll say it again, Dr. Gehm is good doctor. I stopped using her because of the office manager. I had enough of her rude unfriendly attitude toward patients.

The office is clean, trendy and updated, and the office/staff is professional, organized and pleasant, and the service is great, especially Karen. I have been going there for 10+ years and would HIGHLY recommend their services.
