Our fries came out clearly double-cooked - you could tell they'd been sitting around and reheated. The wings were so overcooked they were practically jerky. As for the hand-breaded tenders, they were crispy alright, but only because there was barely any breading left on them. The only saving grace of this entire experience was our server Diana. She was absolutely fantastic - attentive, friendly, and professional despite what seemed like a chaotic kitchen situation. She's honestly the sole reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1. I'm genuinely glad to hear this is her second job because with the way things are going here, I'd be shocked if Barrel 53 makes it another 6 months. Diana deserves so much better than this place. If you're thinking about dining here, maybe wait and see if they can get their kitchen sorted out first.

I first had the Double Flame Burger with all of the standard 7 toppings and two pieces of pepper jack cheese. It was delicious! I don't like a big thick burger patty that is pink inside. I love the caramelized smashed patties with all of the fresh toppings. I also got the Small fries which was a plentiful portion for one person. Next I had to try one of their customer favorites they call the "loose taco". On the menu they call them Tacos Deluxe and they put a flour tortilla on the griddle and white cheese that cooks crispy around the edges then your meat -they recommended the chicken because it is a customer favorite and it was fantastic. I definitely can't wait to come back and have more with steak and pork too. Winner, winner chicken dinner.
