Gorgeous inn for the night!!
Mehrnaz H.

We definitely stumbled upon a great gem!! Was going to Napa for a day conference and decided to go the night before. Came across R Inn Napa and decided to try them. In heart of downtown Napa, it gives the vibes of a small modern cozy European Inn. The place is spotless, tastefully decorated with the most amazing grounds. Room: The room was furnished with gorgeous modern and comfortable furniture. The bed had the control to move the mattress head/foot up and down. The bathroom included the warm toilet seat as well as the bidet. The show had the waterfall show head which was lovely. All the shower products were high quality and loved staying in the room!! Very comfortable!!! Grounds: although small, they had multiple seating areas (again tastefully decorated and quaint) as well as bocce ball court which was a fun addition. The grounds are lit at night and it gives a beautiful romantic vibe!! Kitchen: they have stocked kitchen open 24/7 and during the weekday, you get coffee/tea, yogurt, fruits, and snack bars all day long in the kitchen. Beautiful setting and lovely tea selection. Enjoyed some of the pistachios, yogurt and banana along with my tea. Staff: staff were amazing and though not there the entire day, they made it feel like we were taken care of throughout without any issues! A major thanks for making the stay so lovely and comfortable. We definitely will stay at R Inn Napa during our future stays in town.

We stayed here for specific reasons to check out Napa's Lighted Art Festival. This hotel was so close to that iconic first Presbyterian church that it was actually very convenient to end up here as opposed to another competitive hotel. I'm married to a Gemini so you can imagine when it comes to making that ultimate decision. Not. Easy. Seriously! We have stayed at our share of beautiful hotels yet this one may have been overrated for us as the cottage itself being a two bedroom cottage seemed not as nice as the other rooms which my wife opted out of the two storied loft bc of the stairs with opened steps. We didn't have the heated toilet & at one point I thought I observed a little puddle of water on the floor left of the stove? One of the bedroom windows was broken & cracked so it kind of freaked my wife after she read a few of Yelp's reviews & she ran across one that said it was previously a mortuary. Oh my that's probably why she couldn't sleep much the night we were there! Like. With. Her. Eyes. Wide. Open. Ugh... My wife booked via Booking.com & did receive a decent yet still pricy rate. We were thankful to get an opportunity to check in early. Thank you Sean for the complimentary bottle of wine. Also we appreciated the complimentary snacks & drinks in their lobby & kitchen commonplace area. I couldn't remember the code for the life of me & had to walk back to the cottage to ask my wife what it was. Also how to operate it as well. My wife had to show me! I guess she got the gist of it better than I did. This place reminded us of another hotel we stayed at but now it's practically unreachable especially once the word got out. I'm sure the same will be here too. Yesterday's weather forecast didn't say anything about rain. So when we returned back to our hotel yesterday we did just in the nick of time bc guess what my wife heard rain & she checked her weather app twice on her iPhone & lo behold it was raining! We were absolutely lucky bc my wife did not plan for rain. No raincoat! REALLY! There were 5 steps going up into the cottage so my wife said next time we will stay in one of the other rooms with the loft. We did arrive here the time of the year there would be ripe lemons on the tree! My wife was thrilled!!! She loves drinking fresh squeezed lemon juice in her hot water & tea. Now it's time to help her get some Lemon juice! Woohoo! Thank you so much Sean!

I'm a fan! Will be back ! Quiet and good for privacy and a calm getaway to decompress from a crazy world. Conveniently located walking distance ( as in less than 5 min) to Angeles, Napa river and The General Store ( restaurant cafe) Downtown Napa is very close ( 5-8 min walk) and boutique stores 3 min away... alongside a ton of wine tasting rooms. After wine tasting walk back to the Inn Great for couples traveling together or in pairs ! Great for girlfriend getaways or even company groups traveling for work play combo. There are a few co working spaces on the grounds and some meeting and event rooms though not entirely private for those who want a completely isolated space ... Can't imagine some of the common areas appropriate for families with loud kids running around ( lots of artwork and sculptures around to break .... I'm sure you'd need to pay for if you break ) I can imagine it appropriate for families with teens , adult offspring or infants that can't walk yet. I also noticed cameras everywhere so although the common areas are nicely decorated and snacks in the common dining area there are cameras so you shouldn't go crazy just pocketing it all (for those of you who are hoarders at buffets lol ) Industrial dimly lit masculine modern art decor is absolutely stunning. It's like living in a modern art gallery slash google office environment but more comfy. I love the stimming modern jazz smooth groovy music in the common areas. I was impressed with the gourmet kitchen in the community kitchen area ! Industrial gas stove with over 6 burners and oven. Snacks like pistachios and "kind " bars, boxed cereals, bananas, and a fridge stocked with milk, Diet Coke, and waters. There is also some wine in the common areas for consumption. Coffee bar with automatic machine is fully stocked including flavored syrups... natural and artificially flavored Seating areas vary: twos , fours, a table with a lazy Susan, and a formal dining area which doubles as a work space I think. We stayed in a hotel room in the outdoor hall. We love how everything is so practical. Functional. Heated toilet seats that self cleans itself ( like a toto) and cleans you too ! Very modern no nonsense simple decor that is zen and extremely calming. Not large but cozy and relaxing ; no space left designed without purpose which feels so efficient. Sheets are so smooth and soft. ( where do you get these bed sheets,?) Bed is adjustable and just right. Crazy comfortable. There are black out shades. It was quiet even during The Napa Restaurant and Art week ! It's not exactly kid friendly but it's Napa so most come for the wine... so maybe you don't need to bring the little people on this trip if you stay here. Make it your Adult getaway ? Highly recommend. Again take care of check in by calling the front desk during office hours before checking in to square away utilization of the codes necessary at several gates on the perimeter and your room door. All codes change a lot !!!!! Also note the pound sign goes in first then digit code then pound sign again. This is unsaid !!! Arghhhh now I know why the mad hatter sculpture sits above the hallways because being Alice In wonderland is you when you enter this maze of a place with all the puzzling codes that feel more like a game( which we enjoyed by the way) I know. Go figure So if your code is 1234 punch in #1234# Good luck

I am beyond impressed with this adorable rustic boutique hotel in Napa! My girls and I went here for my surprise bachelorette weekend and it was the perfect getaway for us. First off, the location is prime in downtown Napa and is walkable to many desirable, bars, wineries, restaurants. We were able to walk to Morimoto's, Avow and Sky and Vine rooftop bar, which I highly recommend to include in your itinerary. Secondly, the place is beautiful with lots of fresh plants/wall climbing vines, modern rustic comfortable quarters (RH vibes) with lots of amenities, cute outdoor seating, lounge areas, tasty complimentary breakfast (morning buns, croissants, quiche, fruit, yogurt, juice) and hot beverage machine (coffee, tea, hot chocolate). We stayed in the separate bungalow as well as a few other rooms in the main building. My friends cooked brunch and we enjoyed it in the outdoor seating area and they also surprised me with a 5 course private chef dinner on site! They decorated the mini barn outside the bungalow and it was just magical. I highly recommend this place for a girls trip, couples' getaway, family reunion- R Inn sets the bar high for quality, amenities, and you really can't beat the location! The owner and his staff are super nice too and are always onsite to help with any of your needs. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Usually we stay at a bed & breakfast when visiting Napa for the Lighted Arts Festival, but our fave didn't make it so I decided to book a room here based on reviews and it's great location in Downtown Napa. I received a text the day of check-in asking around what time I'd be checking in and after responding, they let me know that I'd get a text and email when the room was ready. I got into Napa around lunch so I was glad to get a text saying that my room was ready early and after reading the check-in email, I made my way over (check-in/out is all virtual). They have ample free guest parking and I quickly found my way to room 10. The room was as I expected it to be after looking at the photos online and I quickly got comfortable as I planned to stay in for a few hours before heading out. I suspect it's the same in all of the Courtyard rooms, but there was no closet or dresser in my room, which was fine since I was just staying one night and didn't have much. Things I loved where the smart TV with lots of watching options, the adjustable bed, the complimentary bottle of wine, and the bidet. Room 10 doesn't have any windows but with the skylight and frosted glass at the front door, I didn't miss them. One thing to note, even with the heat on at night, the floors were frigid - so bring socks or slippers if that's important to you. I took a look around the grounds and it's very green and relaxing. Lots of outdoor areas to sit and relax and a bocce ball part. I can see booking the inn with a large group of friends and being able to unwind at the end of the day outside when the weather is nice. I checked out this morning and went to the Loft building to check out the continental breakfast. That building is a lot bigger from what I saw and has a nice "break room" area where they had breakfast set up. There was a keurig, juices, milk, yogurt, cereal, snacks, pastries and a quiche of some sort. I grabbed a bottle of OJ and a glory bun and I was surprised at how fresh the bun was. I ran into the staff just once or twice and they were friendly and helpful, although I didn't ask for much. If you're planning to spend your visit mostly Downtown, this is a great location as I walked everywhere and felt safe and close to everything I wanted to visit.

LOVE the R Inn from first stay, that I can't wait to return again in 2021! It's located on the outskirts of downtown Napa but close enough to walk into. The best part is its chic, modern charm, coziness and the quality perks! The rooms are small but very cozy, furnished nicely with the best fixtures installed! The bed is definitely comfortable to ensure a good night's sleep. If you don't want to open one of your fancy winery bottles, they provide a complimentary bottle in the room for you. The bathroom is awesome for the bidet which I LOVE! Very little hotels have one if at all from what I've noticed. There is a rain shower head for those who love these and/or a hand held. Breakfast is served in their elongated kitchen which usually has different daily offerings among the regular continental style breakfast items (fruit, yogurt, bananas, oatmeal etc.). They made an excellent quiche with bacon and cheese one morning and had scrambled eggs and sausage another morning. There are little cafe tables to eat in the kitchen or you're free to take it back to the room. There's juices, water, coffee and tea as well. I'm totally looking forward to repeating this experience and returning with the girls in January rooming all together in their new loft!

TL;DR - An absolutely delight! We loved our stay and would come back! I am normally not a hotel person, they often feel stale to me, but I have to admit R INN NAPA surprised me! This hotel is more on the modern side - which means that they use lots of grey and whites (for example, gray hardwood floors, white walls, etc.). The benefit of this type of look/feel is that I felt that the hotel was very clean, and that's important now more than ever. The attention to detail was wonderful. The bed is adjustable, so you can adjust the height and even elevate your legs! The bedsheets were so soft, you wanted to melt into the bed - though the bed was softer than I'd like, which made it slightly too warm at night. There were plenty of outlets and even ones with USB plugs. Additionally, the living area had a loveseat couch with a tv mount that swivels! The bathroom featured a Japanese bidet, which cleans front and rear ;) as well as dries your bum and has an automatic heated seat (LOL). It also features a rainfall showerhead and is big enough for two people!! Plus, free wine is a great addition. The pantry area was an absolute surprise! They had tons of snacks and drinks. Overall, I'd stay here again.

One of the silver lining to this pandemic is the discovery of this hidden gem of Napa. I have stayed at several other hotels but R Inn Napa has become my favorite "home away from home". The hotel is very posh, chic and upscale. I am a frequent flyer and the rooms are extremely comfortable that provides very soft bedsheets, lovely bidets, adjustable bed, beautiful and inspiring interior and exterior art designs. I stayed at the loft suite for the first time and it was stunning. It felt like a custom built contemporary RH home. I especially enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. A self served breakfast is included with choices from local pastries, fruits, oatmeal, and yogurt. The best part of the kitchen is the top of the line espresso machine. This is a bonus to my stay especially when wine tasting starts at 10am. Our stay would be incomplete and couldn't have been experienced in any other way without the exceptional customer service provided by Sierra. She goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is always comfortable that leaves me well rested and coming back for more. My friends and I have fallen in-love with this boutique hotel and I highly recommend it for those who is planning a trip to Napa.

Let me tell you we had an amazing experience at this boutique hotel! The establishment is so elegant and inviting. You wouldn't believe the details. This place looks like it came out of a magazine! My mother and I came here for a girls Napa trip and we will definitely be coming back. I broke down this review in terms of the service, hotel, and room. Service: 10/10 -Sean is the best host we've ever had! From the minute we booked the hotel he was reaching out to us with recommendations. He was attentive and always available when needed. We were actually greeted with a bottle of wine on the counter when we walked into our room. He even brought fresh pastries in the morning! He made our experience the best. Hotel: 10/10 -There is an indoor and an outdoor section. -The indoor section includes: a dining room, the loft rooms, a kitchen, and the hang out lounge area with a fire place. -The outdoor section includes: a garden with a seating area, a covered lounge area, bocce game setup, and the garage style bedrooms (where ours was). -Everything was super clean & chic! -Perfect location; not noisy at all! 4 minutes walking distance from the main street of downtown Napa. Room: 10/10 -well tastefully decorated -Comfortable, cozy, and clean (especially the bed & duvet cover - we didn't want to get up haha) -The bed inclined. -AC -Spacious shower -State of the art toilet: Toto Washlet. Honestly, I highly recommend this place! This is more of an adults hotel, but if you're coming with the girl friends, or your significant other, you should definitely stay here. You will not regret it! THANKS SEAN!

My fiancé and I celebrated Valentine's Day in Napa and he surprised me with booking our stay here. Very impressed with the modern design and cleanliness of this adorable inn. Downtown is walking distance from this stay. At night there's a pool table lounge across the street to check out. Wonderful get away!

WE WILL BE BACK!! We stayed in room 1 i. the courtyard and then room #13 in the loft building. I'm so happy we got to experience both areas. This is a great mix of hotel/bed and breakfast vibes. It is very modern and upscale with hidden perks throughout. From a beautiful expresso machine in the loft building kitchen, to being welcomed with a glass of Rosé. They had snacks all over (that my husband was very happy about). They had a handwritten bday card in our room. That made my trip so special. Complimentary wine bottles in every room, water, milk, juice. The Inn itself is such a relaxing treat. Then add that you are walking distance to everything you would need. From shopping, dinning. wine tasting, and live music. Rosa welcomed us when we arrived and was eager to ensure our stay was 5 stars. She went of her way to recommend the perfect restaurants and wineries. We had night 1 dinner at Cole's Steakhouse (also a 5 star!) and night 2 at Avow's (the food, cocktails and live music were lovely). Thank you Rosa for the hospitality and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We have already messaged all our friends to recommend this spot. Planning to return in January to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I think we will stay in one of the 2 story lofts on that occasion and stay 3 nights instead of 2. Just so much to do and see.

Truly a hidden gem... I stumbled upon R Inn when I was searching travel sites and had to yelp it to get more info. I was surprised not to find much on here, but everyone had rave reviews. The exterior is a historical building, but once you step foot into this place, expect attention to details! The night before and the morning of our stay, I was contacted by Sierra who wanted to know some basic info so she could try and accommodate any of our needs. We walked into the small entry way only to be greeted by Sierra herself. We were welcomed with a glass of Rosé as she walked us to our room, showed us how everything worked, and the layout of the Inn. Here's a "few" of the highlights and details that I really enjoyed: keypad entry, high ceilings, super comfy bed that reclines, plush pillows, soft sheets, welcome bottle of wine waiting in our room, two bag racks for you and your partner, umbrella was available in the room if needed, the HVAC unit was easy to use and kept the room comfortable, soft towels that didn't leave lint or fuzz, Toto bidet toilet with seat warmer, a black wash cloth to remove make up (first ive ever seen at any resort), complimentary water/soda/juice/milk/coffee/tea any time of the day or night, big parking lot and walking distance to everything in downtown Napa! The communal "Pantry" was a neat concept... everything was flawless from top to bottom; all of the details... I appreciated all of it! Would love to come back here again!

We did have a few pretty serious negatives to our experience tho . The day we pulled in, tired from a long road trip, it was pouring rain and we could not even find the front door. We walked all around the plaza containing their other businesses- coffee shop/restaurant etc and nearly gave up after walking all the way around the entire building. Once we found the front door , which is located on the Main Street the valet service ( which is required unless you want to park 3 blocks away ! ) was not very welcoming. We had lots of luggage and in the pouring rain we struggled to get our bags onto the cart, they did not help us at all. The guest services man Jorge was great and friendly and even upgraded us to a nicer room for our troubles. Once in the room we tried to hook up our Amazon fire stick to watch t.v. But the tv was flush against the wall and we could not reach the HDMI port. We called downstairs and they said they would send someone up to help. Half an hour went by and no one came so I called downstairs again , at which time i was told "our t.v.'s do not accommodate that' . That is a total lie , any tv with an HDMI port can be used with a fire stick, we guessed they were just too lazy/ busy to come up. The tv was very large , but was not even a smart tv . What the heck ???? Even a basic motel has a smart tv. We went down to the lobby bar to have some drinks and a snack . The hostess in the restaurant said we could sit anywhere in the lobby and someone would help us. We waiting for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us so we left . Other people had food and drinks so I don't know what that was about ..... We decided to just eat dinner on the rooftop and be done with this experience. The hostess was very uninspiring about her job and seated us. The dinner service was decent , it was pouring rain and we got a bit drizzled on between the louvres of the rooftop awning but overall dinner was ok. Due to the "snobby feel" of most of the staff and the lack of t.v. Options i would probably not stay here again. It's a shame because it was a nice location.

Sadly enough, this hotel is dealing with serious THEFT ISSUES which management is unwilling to fix…read moreor even review. I recommend the reader staying elsewhere if you have any valuable items. My story below. We stayed at the Archer Hotel Napa mid December 2025. When departing the property, I left my Stetson cowboy hat in the room ($1K+). Realizing this the next day, I contacted the Archer Hotel who informed me that nothing was reported yet (with a promise for a follow up notice). After 3 weeks of silence, I reached out again and was told that staff had not found the hat in the room. I must point out that the hat was packed in a special-purpose large box; given the size, special packing, value, and nature of the item, it is inconceivable that it would have been discarded as trash. Evidently, it was stolen. I then escalated this issue to management who mostly ignored my requests (I can share various emails for those who care). I did learn that there is security footage but access or review of it was denied (and one would wonder why that was not done in December following my first call?). This makes it evident that management (GM Michael Pace and Director of Operations Patricia Wilson) prefer to turn a blind eye and as such indirectly approves of staff holding on to left-behind items of value. Again: this is theft. I am now left with filing a report with the Napa Police Department.

Lounge sets were not covered prior to our arrival which I would expect as part of housekeeping. Hence can't use lounge chairs and patio furniture without cleaning. Spiders on outside furnitures and inside cottage had one dangle down its web right in front of me while sitting on the sofa. Bathtub inside is broken and can't use to take a bath and looks like it's been broken for a while. I liked the folding patio door setup as allows a nice view of the roses in the yard and a nice breeze but a lot of bugs. Could be helpful if there's lavender plants in the backyard. Nice fire place in backyard that can run really hot and keep bugs off you and a nice place to relax in the morning. Shower had nice heated floors but tub not working detracted from the experience. We were greeted warmly upon checkin and thanks to Hilton diamond, we were upgraded to a nicer cottage. The person checking us in enthusiastically described the bryte balance beds in these upgrades rooms that allow personalized settings. However when we got to the room, we couldn't find the instructions to adjust the bed. Long story short, there was a lot of back and forth and conflicting communication from different staff members. For some reason our upgraded room did not have the updated beds- still not clear to me why since the website advertises these upgraded beds in our room type. In any case, the staff was nice to offer a consolation bottle of wine, which unfortunately we did not drink as we were celebrating our baby moon. The property itself is beautiful and two pool areas that includes a separate heater pool and a hot tub. It was quite empty when we were there. The common area near the restaurant had a lot of fire pits for enjoying. The room was nice , very spacious with heated floors and an expansive private patio with outdoor tub and outdoor shower along with outdoor fireplace. Requesting service was hit or miss. We tried texting as instructed which took ~30 min to respond. When trying to call, at times, phone would ring without anyone picking up. We requested additional water and matches for outdoor fireplace several times, but neither of these ever arrived so we gave up. As Hilton Diamond members, breakfast was included. However it didn't seem like a special benefit since it seems like breakfast is included for many who book direct. For a pricey luxury resort, I thought breakfast was a bit lacking - with only 1 hot option (quiche). The rest were fruit, cheese and charcuterie and bread/bagel. A la Carte items could be ordered for a fee and anything more than black coffee (eg cappuccino) would be extra. This is better than the $15/p credit at other Hilton properties but given that this is a SLH and a high end luxury resort, I guess I expected breakfast to be a bit more substantial. Given that this was a free night award, I wasn't too disappointed, but if I stayed here with the cash rate, I think my rating would drop to 3-3.5.

She had never been there, and I wanted to surprise her, so she had no idea where we're going. It turned out to be one of the best decisions that I have made since my children have left the nest. The hotel upon entering is very inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly. And the ambience is unbelievable what you would expect of a five-star hotel in LA yet with the charm of a small-town feel. So let me begin with our inception. Upon walking in, we were greeted and given water and asked if we would like to upgrade our room. The room upgrade offered a patio with a propane fireplace and chairs for only $50 extra a night, we gladly said yes. Every evening, we were given a voucher for drinks, 2 drinks per person, alcoholic that is. Each morning, we had free breakfast. You had a choice of an egg McMuffin-style sandwich, a chorizo burrito, or an egg potato and cheese burrito. The egg cheese and potato burrito is the way to go. It is so big I could have cut it into three parts and eaten it for lunch breakfast and dinner. They have a small store inside of the restaurant which you purchase what you want, and you scan it yourself, that was kind of nice. There was a pool and jacuzzi, and we went in the jacuzzi the very first night since there was no one there yet, but as it got closer to Thanksgiving more families came in. I will have to say this is the first time that we haven't had children with us, because both of our children are out of the nest in college. So, this is the first Thanksgiving dinner we had NOT at home. But I must admit, it was fantastic-yet bittersweet We had turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes and gravy and we had ube pie. For those of you that don't know what ube pie is, it's a Filipino purple sweet potato. When I saw that on the menu, even though I'm not Filipino, I knew I had to have a pie at least. We got the whole meal, it was fantastic the turkey was succulent mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome I don't like stuffing, but my wife ate my stuffing, and we had asparagus as well if I remember correctly. I had spoken to the front-end manager, I believe, or the beverage manager and she is Pinay, so this is why, I assume, they had the ube pie instead of pumpkin pie, but it was amazing. Even if it's not Thanksgiving, ask if they have ube pie. It's very convenient because it is right next to the freeway so you can travel up north and take ancillary streets to go up to where all the wineries are at. We didn't take a winery tour, because we're not viticulturists, but if you are, it's a fantastic place to go.

Me and my wife love the design and attention to details that works with the wine and Napa valley vibe. Refer to photos. So why not 5 stars? Has to do with breakfast and made to order omelets that Embassy suites is known for. They have a box to go pick up breakfast in the lobby/bar area with one gentleman controlling the hot meal which is either a sausage egg muffin, a chorizo burrito or a egg, bacon and potato burrito. Seeing people sitting in the lobby with their breakfast box looks uncomfortable and tacky. Otherwise, look forward to staying here in my future visit to wine country

I will say first, from what I saw of the hotel, it is nicely appointed and has great staff. I would consider coming back just to stay. Our lunch was also pretty nice. The service was rather slow, especially since we were one of two occupied tables for most of the time we were there (mid-week), but the food was very good and fresh/healthy feeling. Now, on to the spa. I chose the 80 min peptide lifting facial for $395. First of all, $395 is a price you might pay for a full service spa. This is not that. There is a tiny locker room with a closet sized sauna in it that could fit one or two people. There is one shower and a sink to clean up in. No other facilities. Second of all, the facial was nothing special to cost that much. I have better facials at home at my local salon, and usually pay less than $100. At the end of the facial the esthetician, who had just spent the last 75 mins cleaning all the gunk off my face and out of my pores, then proceeded to put a nasty tinted moisturizer all over my face! I asked her about it at the time, told her that I do not wear makeup of any kind, and even told her I was concerned about it getting on the collar of my light grey sweater. She just slathered it on. Told me if I didn't like it I could use a tissue to wipe it off! When I went to get dressed after my service I looked in the mirror and saw that I did in fact look like a tangerine. Thankfully I had some cleaning wipes in my bag, and was able to get it all off. So I basically wiped off $395 of facial in two minutes with a cheap drug store towelette. Great. So, basically, stay at the hotel or maybe trying out the restaurant, but avoid the spa!

When we arrived (early) our room was ready, SCORE, and we were greeted with Mumm Brut. Such a treat. Nick and Raymond were so helpful during our check in. Raymond remembered us from last year and that made the experience so much more personal. Also a shout out to the valet/bell hop staff. They are so fast, friendly, and helpful! Really appreciate them! The room was awesome! We had steam shower and an outdoor shower which was an upgrade from our room from last year. The fridge is stocked with water and Boylan cola if you need a pick me up. Love the spacious patio and his and her sinks. We spent the first day at the pool, which was very quiet and relaxing. The pool bar was closed but not an issue because you can just call the bar and they will bring you whatever you need. Also LOVE the pool top views. The grounds of this hotel are so serene, with art installations! Unfortunately, our precious Toby (fur baby) had a medical situation there and our stay was cut short. We had 3 nights planned and only got to stay 1. I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Raymond, the front office manager. You made our decision to leave an no brainer and we didn't have any stress about not staying the other 2 nights. We will forever be loyal to Bardessono, due to the love and care that was showed to us by you that morning while we were in distress. Also thank you to the staff who was there on the night shift for parking our car when we returned from the emergency vet at 3:30 AM. While we were sad to leave we most definitely are looking forward to the next time we come back.

No seasoning on the meat, vegetarian ravioli had 3-4 raviolis in tomato water. Food could definitely use salt. There were so many nearly full plates going back to the kitchen! Whoever makes the desserts and pastries bravo every dessert I tried was great. Drinks were great, solid selection of beer. If I had just gone for the event and gone home this would be a 1/2 star review. The Bar in the main building was very nice and service was impeccable, and the entry way fire place makes for a great entrance. The Rooms were really nice, clean and really quiet. The service from pretty much every person seemed like they were eager to help and very friendly. The quality of the room and service from staff saved The Meritage from the awful, mass produced and unseasoned banquet food I was served. I would've liked to explore more, Maybe try an actual restaurant here but I was here for just one night and had to hit the road. It's a beautiful resort with an exceptional staff so I can at least recommend that much.

Turn on TV and sign into Youtube, it freezes. Olive and Hay is so busy as an external restaurant, we didn't get a seat, guests are not prioritized. Neither is there room service from Olive and Hay. We couldn't sit down and have breakfast, we had to go elsewhere. Checkout is prompt, not given any additional time, because they had get the cleaning done. If thats the case, why didn't we get the room at 4? It just ruined our evening and trip to Napa.

FRAUD ALERT…read more Boyfriend & I came here on January 31st. We got massages which we paid the gratuity for that very day since we were charged right away. As of yesterday 2/27 I've been charged $86 by "The Inn on First" which I noticed immediately as either a mistake or fraud. I called them & front desk receptionist seemed very confused & even apologetic because of the fact I was there one month ago & not yesterday! I told her I would like to be refunded & she of course had to get the owner involved, understandably. The owner, Celia, calls me & already had a defensive rude tone to her voice which was confusing because of the situation. She claims that I had not been charged for the gratuity from the massages & that they had just now caught it & were charging me now. I told her that I know for a fact we had already paid for the gratuity based on the amount charged to my card which was the total cost of the massages including the gratuity. She argued stating my numbers were not accurate & that they again will be keeping my $86. I told her this is fraud & she knows it. & I will be putting a review on Yelp regarding this. She then changed up & said if I have an issue with the gratuity charge that I'll have to take it up with the massage employees as if they were a separate entity- which they may be but again, my credit card statement shows that it's "The Inn On First" that is charging me this $86 I responded to Celia by reminding her that this is HER BUSINESS & that she should be the one to resolve this! She responded by basically stating it's not her problem. Absolute fraud! We were intending on coming back and to this place soon but they lost our business & I'll be disputing this charge with my credit card company. CELIA YOU NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE SKILLS. Interestingly enough this apparently happens to people every so often here which leads me to believe we were targeted by her!

We flew into Sacramento Airport and made the drive to Napa, which took about an hour and fifteen minutes depending on traffic. Once we arrived, the location of the hotel immediately stood out. It sits just outside downtown Napa--about a 9‑minute walk or a quick 2‑minute drive--and the surrounding area is flat, safe, and very walkable. From the front entrance near the valet, a simple left turn leads you straight to Oxbow Public Market and the Napa Riverfront. The Napa Valley Wine Train station is also right next door, which adds a unique charm to the property. The hotel itself is built along the Napa River on land that was once part of the city's early railroad and milling district, and that history is reflected in the setting. Another highlight is that this Westin is one of the few with a Michelin‑star connection through its signature restaurant, La Toque. Upon arrival, valet greeted us immediately, as valet parking is the only option. Check‑in is located just to the right, and the first thing that caught my attention was the wall of wine bottles--a thoughtful detail that reflects Napa's identity as a premier wine region. The lobby is spacious, inviting, and beautifully designed, creating a strong sense of arrival. We stayed in room 2079, a superior one‑bedroom suite that felt more like a private residence than a typical hotel room. The suite included a dining table, a pull‑out couch, two televisions (one in the dining area and one in the bedroom), a full kitchen, and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard. The space was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The bathroom was also impressive, and the waterfall showerhead quickly became one of my favorite features. Overall, the Westin Verasa Napa offered a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent access to downtown, the riverfront, and nearby attractions. The thoughtful design, spacious rooms, and ideal location made our New Year's visit smooth and enjoyable. It's a property that enhances the Napa experience in all the right ways.
