The staff at the Bardessono blew us away with their hospitality! This was our first time in Napa and this hotel really set the bar for us. The property is beautiful. It's very modern and chic. It's walking distance from some of the best restaurants in Yountville. The location is very central to many vineyards. The rooms are perfect after a long day in wine country. 10/10 would stay here again.

My husband and I just spent the weekend here for our babymoon and it was the best! 10/10 experience -- the staff was so kind to us! We truly valued the efficient and level of service. Special shoutout to Madeline and Nick from the from desk, Sarah and Cecilia from the spa, and Andrew and Marcos from restaurant Lucy. They treated us with so much love and care. All the amenities were amazing and the ambience was exactly what we were looking for. We had such an amazing time that we want to make it an annually trip! We will definitely be back once baby is 1 years old!

Spent Thanksgiving 2023 at Bardessono and what a treat it was. After staying at a good number of hotels in CA wine country, The Lodge at Sonoma, Indian Springs, MacArthur Place, and Ledson Hotel, I think Bardessono is my favorite. I think the combination of the pure modern design set in nature and exceptional service set it apart from other hotel experiences. From the reception area, to the valet, to the room service, and grounds, everyone you encounter is warm and friendly. My favorite parts of the room were the incredibly comfortable king bed and the large bathroom and tub with jacuzzi jets. Pros: Modern and relaxing hotel experience, exceptional service, and top notch rooms. Cons: NA

4.5 STARS So...THIS is how the 1% live?! Sign me up! Staying at Bardessono was a very rare splurge because it's chaaa-chiiiing. If you don't blink an eye at $1k+/night accommodations, adopt me please...I come with a furry chick magnet! ;) Opening in 2009, Bardessono is gorgeous luxe resort in the heart of Yountville. Bardessono was THE BEST hotel experience. I don't say this lightly, but everything was utter perfection at this hotel. In fact, I don't know how they could've done any better, everything from the room, to the service, to the cleanliness and the bottle of wine that was given to us for my birthday was just so thoughtful, and did I mention the location is perfect to walk everywhere in Yountville? The minute we pulled up, they addressed us by our names, and made us feel very welcome. My husband had a bike that he had to reassemble while we were unloading, and they not only waited patiently and assisted, but they had wet towels ready for him to wipe his hands when he was done. This was all in the first 10 minutes of us being there! Jordan was the front desk manager (I think), and he welcomed us with a glass of wine and Jennifer led us to our room. I don't know if all the rooms are set up like this, but our room had its own stairwell and there was no room below or above us. The room was good size with bathroom just as spacious as the bedroom. The room had automatic shades, fireplace, and a refrigerator with complimentary water/soft drinks that were refilled daily. Seriously, they thought of everything. We were there for 2 nights, and I could've stayed forever. We walked everywhere, and if you don't want to, they have complimentary hotel shuttle available. The decor is upscale chic, but understated, not flashy. Every time we were out of our room, the valet guys addressed us by our names, and everyone at the hotel was super friendly. Special shoutout to Enrique, who made sure my husband got his bike anytime, and helped us with loading of our luggage and disassembling of the bicycle when we were leaving. This hotel is expensive, but worth every penny. Having just stayed at Laguna Niguel Ritz Carleton and how bad their service was, I appreciated this experience even more. I seriously can not wait come back and stay here. If you want to feel like a million bucks and get rejuvenated in a quiet, serene environment with top tier restaurants available within blocks, this hotel is for you. Enjoy!

Beautiful hotel with a resort get away feel. The staff is attentive and kind and turn down service couldn't be any more perfect. There is beautiful art placed around the property offering a truly modern yet warm enviorment. The property also holds a garden you can walk through where they grow veggies and fruits they use in their restaurant Lucy. Just when you think you're sold, the resort offers complementary Lexus vehicles for use at 4 hours at a time with first come first serve availability. I couldn't imagine coming to Yountville and staying anywhere else!

This hotel & spa property earned its five stars! I want to give it a 6th! The staff were so lovely and accommodating, and the images online really resemble the room tip for tap corner for a corner. A few things that make Bardessono hotel & spa stand out from the rest: - The Lexus that shuttles you around the city of Yountville is an absolute game-changer. You need to make it to a reservation at Restoration Hardware or maybe get a few more toiletries to your liking at the local market! No problem Bardessono has you covered to and from! - The Lucy restaurant is a complete tasting experience as the menu is elaborate enough to please a group with different perspectives on preferences. - The bathroom in the king suite is so huge! I loved the steam shower and the outdoor shower! I made time to use both! The bathroom in the King Spa Suite gives you the experience of having a spa right in your hotel room! - The pool cabanas are relaxing, lush, and comfortable! The jacuzzi was great! I am not sure if the pool is heated, but the water was well set as the sun would blaze during the early/ late afternoon. This was my first time experiencing staying in Yountville; I recommend booking a stay! Be careful booking the king spa suite. You might not ever want to leave! ; )

We stayed here for the close proximity to vineyards and Michelin Star restaurants. We loved the Bardessono so much that we made a YouTube video about it, so if you want to see more click on this link: https://youtu.be/pP4bE5_uWgw?si=Jp3Y4QYeKtGZBBBI

We stayed here at the end of June for a wedding & all I can say is..wow. This hotel is the perfect mix of privacy, opulence & community. The SECOND we stepped out of our car we were greeted by the sweetest concierge member who assisted us to our rooms. This member saw us struggling to use the Turo App for our car & suggested the Heitz Cellar Vineyard to Bottle Package. I am soo happy we upgraded (I mean it comes with a complimentary car..how could one say no?!) as it allowed us to spend more time at this beautiful property. We arrived to the pool at 11 am everyday during our stay and there were no more than 5 people. Though at the time I of our stay I was limiting my caffeine intake, they do offer coffee and pastries in the morning at the pool..such a nice touch! I was completely unaware of the price of this hotel until this review & can say that it is most DEFINITELY worth the money.

We made a reservation on Christmas Day and decided to get the tasting menu with the wine pairing. There were 6 item on the tasting menu and each items were brought out nearly 30 minutes apart. Halfway through our dinner (about 90 minutes since we'd arrived). I was finishing my wine pairing before each food arrived. What was I supposed to do for 30 minutes with a wine glass in front of me? The food: The food is actually good, but the experience was ruined badly. I've lost my appetite on third course so the whole experience was no longer relevant. We just wanted to finish our dinner and leave. We asked our server to wrap up since we had to get home to our dogs as it was getting really late at night and the weather was bad. The waiting game was so bad that for the first time at a restaurant, I asked our server for the tab while still waiting for the last course, just so I can take care of it and leave as soon as we're done. We didn't wanna wait any longer. The atmosphere: It was very crowded and the seats next to other guests were too close to each other. It's like dining in Europe. You can hear everyone's conversation. But maybe it's due to the heavy rain that nobody is able to use the patio area. I've also explained the them that their seat was very uncomfortable to sit on for long period of time. It was like sitting on a wooden surface without any cushioning. The manager: The manager was really nice and sweet. She offered to take our coats for us as we sat down our table. She also noticed the issue with the kitchen so halfway through our dinner, she came to apologize. Towards when we were leaving, she again apologize and tried to offer me with some kind of discount or another drink, which I refused politely. We needed to get home, and we don't think we deserve some discounts since they had to work on Christmas Day. They deserved the pay and the gratuities. But they also need to know that many customers come from far away. We would be happy to join a different restaurant in Napa if the long dining experience were mentioned upon reservation. TL:DR Be prepared to spend an eternity in this restaurant. For a six small items, we were in the restaurant for nearly 3 hours. We go to Napa a lot. Maybe twice a month and we like to try different restaurants. I'm not sure if I'd ever come back here since I had better and pleasant experience elsewhere. This restaurant quickly went to the bottom of the list.

We went back after check in time and commented nobody text us and this lady working was much less friendly and said we only text you if your room is ready before booking- otherwise it will be ready at 4. The lodge was not very full- so it was hard to believe that there were no rooms ready earlier and if the policy is they don't take early check ins, just say that your room will be ready at 4, not let us think we are waiting for a text. When we got to our room it was a complete let down. There are a lot of room types, so do your research. We got a room with a fire place. It was December, we thought how nice to light a fire and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the night- nope fire places are for show (I did go back and it states this in the reservation- but I missed it when booking). I also think the rooms with a view were not available, but we ended up with a balcony that was right next to another buildings roof. It was really too cold to sit outside, so that wasn't as much as a deal breaker as the fireplace this time of year, but we never stepped foot on the balcony. We were unpacking and getting settled and I could not warm up. I think it was after our dinner that my husband went to the bathroom and realized the bathroom window was open, which was why it was so cold in the room. We realized that was probably open because the room was always too hot or cold. We would toss covers on and off all night long & the mattress was way too hard for our liking... the room was a nice large size. The bathroom was clean but very dated. There were nice amenities like a shower cap, face wipes, spa shampoo & conditioner etc. I am assuming because it was off season the grounds were not all that tended too- there was moss growing in the bocce ball sets- the fountains needed painting- but the outside grounds looked like it would be very relaxing if the weather was warmer. The breakfast is nice- we would go into town and get Model or Bouchon and then eat fruit from the free breakfast. Our last afternoon- we had a few bottles of wine to drink and the staff working that day were so great- they set us up in the fireplace room and we just had a great afternoon drinking wine and chatting and was a great end to our trip- what we envisioned when booking a "lodge" in early December- cozy and relaxing. The lodge is at the farthest north end of town- it's close to a few restaurants but most things are a decent walk into town. When the sun was shining it was nice, but at night with the wind it felt far. I'm not sure if we will give this place a chance again. I wanted to give it 4 stars but there was just too much that was ok to tip it above a 3/5 rating.

Because I'm sitting on the expansive patio, fresh press-brewed Peets…read morein my hand along with a Mumm mimosa, eating a just-delivered sticky bun from Bouchon while reading the NYT on a pristine and gorgeous New Year's Day morning looking out at the incredible old growth fig, olive, redwood, and fruit-bearing Meyer lemon trees after an amazing nights sleep in a heavenly, gigantic bed in one of two perfectly appointed rooms in the 2 bedroom cottage (#9) while I write this. Check in was a breeze. Mumm was chilled, waiting on the table. As was the s'more basket. As was the dog bowl, already filled with water and treats. As was the beautiful Christmas tree and live table wreath. As were the L'Occitane bath products. And the lovely robes and slippers. And the super soft bath towels. And the outdoor blankets for the enormous yard we have all to ourselves. In addition to the games room. And the bikes to ride. And the Chardonnay in the fridge. And the bucket of snacks. Or the gigantic, two head showers in both bathrooms. Or the enormous jacuzzi tubs (yes, plural). Or the yoga mats. Not a detail is missing in this place. There is a huge table and extra chairs should you want to have guests (there is room galore for guests, and we are a party of four with a dog!). Umbrellas. Picnic backpacks. Excellent Wi-Fi. Cannot wait to return in the warmer months with a ton of friends and family to take the place over for tastings, relaxation, touring, and barbecues in the huge yard! We LOVE IT HERE!
