Clown. Show. Understaffed to begin with then when I finally got assigned to a tech I sat at her booth alone for ten minutes. Finally! Nails! My nails are super short and round. I told her they just needed a little filing. So what does she do? TRIES TO FORCE THEM INTO SQUARE TIPS WITHOUT EVEN ASKING! That's not even the worst of it -- so now I have these weird little snaggly points on the edge of my fake square nails AND the flat part isn't even filed evenly. The slant is going every which way on each different nail. Polish doesn't reach the edges on half of them. Giant waste of twenty bucks, can't wait to get home and strip off this joke of a polish job. Update: took the polish off and it turns out she deliberately sliced off a massive piece of nail on the side of one of my middle fingers when she should have been cutting cuticles. I'm gonna have to add $50 to the budget for the next time I go to my usual nail place, for an apology fruit basket when they have to deal with the grown out edition of this hot mess. Visited this business for the first time. I had to get my nails done for a business trip. I've done the dip powder and it seems to last me a long time. I wanted to walk in and be able to get it done. They have a small sitting area with a few baskets and tons of nail color samples. Whether you are looking for dip or any other type of manicure. While I was there I decided on a pedicure as well. I was not planning on doing that so of course I didn't have sandals. I wore Sox and sneakers. To my amazement the polish that they used, I was able to slip back into my Sox and sneakers and the polish was perfect when I got home. Overall pleased with the service, they did a good job and everyone was nice. I spent a little more than I planned to and of course tipped well. If I can get a few weeks to a month on the polish it will be well worth it. read more

I should have read the reviews before I went. I tried two other salons for a walk in manicure, but they couldn't fit me in. My cuticles were in bad shape and I just wanted them fixed up and clear polish so I could put color street on when I got home. The woman who did my manicure didn't say a single word to me even though I talked to her and even asked questions. She talked to the male technician next to us and was texting A LOT. All she did was soak my finger tips, trim my cuticles and polish. No lotion or massage at all. She acted mad that I left my coat on the chair when I went to the dryer. $19 for that? Because I feel bad if I don't tip, I slipped her $3. She didn't even make eye contact. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. read more

I had a horrible experience! I had an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure at this salon. I walk in and they have my water ready. Just as I put my feet in the water a Caucasian woman comes in with no appointment. They tell her to come back later but she refuses. There are only two employees there and one has a customer. What do they do? They took the lady and told me that I just "need to be patient." I guess her money was greener! Her 1 unscheduled service was worth more than my 2 scheduled services. I politely dried my feet and walked out. It's not ok to be disregarded based on race! The manager didn't care how she made me feel and the other customers looked on with no regard. Went here because it was close to home. No wait time. The place and nail job was okay. Employees professional . I only wish they would listen better to you. I did not want their base or top coat on my nails because I brought my special 6-1 polish which has everything in it and is good for nails in poor condition. I could not get her to understand. I used to love coming here then the store was sold and it became uncomfortable bc of the new management. I'm here so say there is a new,new owner and I am back to being a regular customer! I believe it is family of the first owner of the shop and its such a warm and friendly atmosphere and there work is always top notch. Prices are fair and my struggle to find a new nail salon are over! It's funny how things work out! They recently remodeled the place and it looks great as well, this place is my absolute favorite nail shop and I've had to try quite a few! My first and my last time in this salon. The nail tech put my feet in scalding water. She removed my polish and went after my toenails with a grinder. I told her not to cut my toenails, she started, I stopped her. Then she went after the sides of my nails with nippers and cut me. The foot file resembled a grater. Hurt like hell so she switched to a rough sponge. Then she tried scrubbing my foot with a brush and it felt like sandpaper. Don't bother with this place. But I went in YESTERDAY to get my gel filled (got them done at another place) and I paid $33 (even though their price board said $25) and the edges are ALREADY peeling. I am so so sad. I am so very disappointed! Pedi took 1 hour and 45 minutes‍. I was charged more than what I was told the service would be. I would never had agreed to a $60 (not including tip) pedi, that's just not in my budget. Techs were okay but owner is rude to customers and staff! Hello?? I used too love coming to this salon. The last time I went in will be the last time I ever come to R&T nails. They are gross and inconsiderate of their customers. I did not make an appointment. They told me it wouuld be a 40 min wait. I said no thank you because I did not want to wait. They did not want to lose a customer so then they said a 5 minute wait. I was confused how the wait immediately changed but went with it anyways. I asked for coffin and received square. She did not even ask if the shape was alright. She was in a hurry while a group of customers sat waiting. She was in a rush and didn't care what service she was providing. She only wanted the money. My nails were subpar excluding the shape I paid for was incorrect. Lastly the most disgusting part. I walked to the sink to wash my hands and see alot of tiny fruIt flies swarming near the sink. So gross. I sit back down and she starts painting my nails and one lands on my hand. The nail tech who did my nails was Kim. SHE SMASHED THE FLY ON MY HAND. THEN SHE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. Spent $90 even though the price was different on the board and brochure..it was almost like they just added more cost. ?? Went I went back for repair, she never took off the old polish, just added white french tip and new shellac and said "you go home now"! Wow!! For my first visit I made an appointment to have my shellac polish removed. I sat down, and she started using the nail grinder that's normally used for acrylic nails. The process took just as long as letting my nails soak with foil and heat being applied. Now my nails are thin, and rough. One split before I even got to my car. There were two women getting pedicures that seemed to be enjoying themselves but I will not be returning, especially for shellac services. read more

ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE WITH TRASH EMPLOYEES! The lady had the nastiest attitude when I walked in with my mother. I had already called 4 hours ago and told them I'll try to make it in an hour but she said don't worry we don't need appointments. Soon as I got there she started yelling at my mom and embarrassed us for being 2 hours late. My father is in the hospital since he suffered a heart attack and today is my moms birthday so I thought I can cheer her up but it lead to such a bitter experience. I told the lady my mom is going to get mani and pedi but just gave pedi and made us wait for an hour. And completely denied the manicure. She kept talking shit about us being late so it's ok to make us wait longer in Vietnamese thinking I wouldn't understand. I can fluently understand everything they were talking about even though I am indian. Due to the poor experience I tipped 50 cents out of petty and when the guy reported to the lady I can hear her say "they can piss off, we don't need their business". The lady is the definition of poor business. On top of that their accents are hard to understand and couldn't efficiently communicate with us. I suggest they take a course in English before they work here in America! Will definitely write a complaint to the Better Business Beareu and have them shut down! When we asked about other services the rude lady told us "just go to best cuts they do all that". Why the hell so you even have a salon I'd you're going to refer your customers to somewhere else? I have been Teresa's (the owner) customer since her career began (15 years). Lately she's been very short tempered and rude to me. She has made it known that she wants to sell her business and move to Florida, but her relocation is taking much longer than expected. SO I think she's unhappy and is knowingly or unknowingly expressing this in the way she's been treating her customers. Today I called to reschedule my bi-weekly standing and since she was unhappy with me about this appointment and a misunderstanding over another she literally SCREAMED at me for 5 + minutes on the phone with a customer in her chair (she told me she was busy with a client during this madness). On another occasion she did my fills as quickly as she could because she had a dinner date. I ended up with a slight abrasion that became infected. I had to go to the hospital to have the wound drained and bandaged. I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks. I am very sad to leave this salon but I cannot take the verbal abuse any longer!!! read more
