We were hopeful and did so--almost a month ago--but to date, we've received no reply from them. Regarding, his experience. Please read on and judge for yourselves. My husband and I had our first visit to Spavia last month in Dublin, Ohio, where he received an outstanding salt stone massage. Since we live in Cleveland, he was looking forward to having a similar experience at the Spavia in Strongsville. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite -- truly awful for him. Based on his provider, Ashley's reviews, it's clear his experience with her, wasn't due to her lack of skill or knowledge, but rather her lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to perform the service with care. Making his 60 minutes session grueling and very uncomfortable. Far below Spavia's standards. From an excessively long and overly oily scalp effleurage "rub." It could hardly be called a scalp "massage." To the poor use of the stones, it was absolutely apparent that Ashley performed the "whole" service begrudgingly. After spending over $200, including tip, my husband left feeling stressed instead of relaxed. Maybe she was having an off day, but for an establishment like Spavia -- especially at this price point -- the service was totally uncomfortable & unacceptable. To say the least.
