Peeling top coat on 2nd day
Chandra F.

This salon is INSANELY overpriced for not great quality. I got an acrylic fill ($55) in which the gel top coat started peeling off 2 days after as well as a middle of the road pedicure for $47 PLUS $30 to take off and repaint with gel. Are you kidding me? That's ridiculous! Then I had my hair done by Caitlin. I was quoted $165 for a full highlight, followed by a consult where I was told it'd be about $300. Checking out the day of the appointment and they say it's $425! I was totally misled and they rape you at every chance. Very, very disappointing and I won't be back.

I asked for long layers and loose front layers, shortest at my chin.

This was my first time going to Santo Salon. I booked an appointment with a lead stylist because I've always had anxiety about getting my hair cut, thinking a lead stylist could execute what I was looking for. I asked for long layers with some light face framing. The stylist confirmed asking that I wanted loose layers. She styled my hair with a wave which hid this monstrosity. When I went to straighten my hair the next day I was shocked and cried at how uneven and chopped my chin length layer was. This is the worst haircut I have had in years. This haircut was not worth the 94 dollars I spent and I will not be coming back.

I completely shocked and devastated as I write this review. My 12 year old bi-racial daughter has a gorgeous head of coily curls. From the time she was born, I have always said that I know God has a sense of humor because my hair is fine and poker straight. I have spent a small fortune in product and have sought advice from NUMEROUS sources as my daughter has grown. The first time I came to Santos, my daughter was around 6 years old. As I already stated, I was always looking for direction as I have been learning about curly hair. I ran into a gorgeous bi-racial curly girl and I asked her mom what products she uses. She told me about the Diva Curl product line and suggested I check out Santos for a curly girl cut. Her first curly girl cut was cute, but I didn't really see the value in it. I didn't think the cut was extraordinary (for $50 plus tip) and I was disappointed in the Diva Curl product line. I was told that all I needed to do to maintain it was use the products (in total I spent $150 for cut and product), but we still had unmanageable curls. As my daughter has grown up in a city with mostly white people, she longs for straight hair. We've had it straightened in the past and she just loves it. What we've learned through the years is that not everyone can straighten it (including myself). She's had more than a few bad flat iron jobs. She started middle school and has really been trying to embrace her curls, so we came back to Santos in August for a curly girl cut with Michelle. Like always, I was talking through our challenges with my daughter's hair and her desire to have it straight. Another stylist overheard our conversation and told us they were looking for models to get a keratin treatment, which would reduce the cost to $125. So we signed up. THIS IS WHERE IT WENT SOUTH! We were told that it would take 3 hours, so I pulled her out of school early and drove 40 minutes to Pepper Pike. The stylist name was Skye and she was very sweet. Since we NEVER had a keratin treatment, I had a lot of questions. Of course I did my research and consulted a few trusted sources to make sure this treatment was appropriate for my daughter. My daughter was a champ! Sadly, we were there nearly SIX hours. Even worse, the end result was awful and DEFINITELY not what we expected. If I'm able to attach photos, you would be appalled that Santos would let a client walk out of his salon looking like this. Adding insult to injury, my daughter woke up for school the next morning and she looked like a hot mess. Of course, since she has been self-conscious about her hair already, I told her she can stay home and we will try to fix it. I was fighting between anger, sadness, and fear about what the hell happened. I calmly called Santos and spoke with Kelly. It definitely seemed the entire salon knew about the situation. I mean, we did spend SIX hours there the night before and not one person could POSSIBLY say my daughters hair looked good. They made an attempt to flat iron again and determined the salon did nothing wrong, so no refund for us. Wtf? Frank Santos walked past us and never said a word. The lack of professionalism is repulsive. The manager, Kelly, was less than compassionate in spite of the fact that they all could see my kid's hair looked a wreck. Absolutely no responsibility! As I get to the end of this ridiculous story, I hope that I can attach photos. You would also be flabbergasted that Santos wouldn't stand by their service. It's awful. If you read to the, I'm sorry for the added details. I would expect an upscale salon to do waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy better. Thanks for nothing, Santos!

Can't get her to stop smiling

Lilly took care of my daughter today and made her so happy. She hs never liked het hair till now. Thank you Lilly. You came highly recommended but I did not expect everything to be this nice. You made it fun for her and she was very comfortable. Thank you for involving her and choosing the style and color that she can handle. It's beautiful. We've tried everything. Lilly asked a lot of questions to make sure my daughter's hair would hold up to the highlights because I was worried about damage. I've only found a couple stylist in many years that were worth staying with, the kind you follow. She will be back Lilly!

You can't give love if you don't have any for yourself. Everything starts with the relationship you have with yourself." -- Cassey Ho, Youtuber and Pilates instructor. I first found out about Reset Lounge through a complimentary massage thanks to Yelp Cleveland in February 2020. You can read my review from partnership with Yelp here -- https://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/elite-week-yelp-recharges-with-reset-lounge-chagrin-falls?hrid=wEgT_PVaIRPwODfMWwGkyg&utm_source=ishare&utm_content=review I visited Reset Lounge a 2nd time on Wednesday, 5 February 2020. I definitely needed to de-stress on this day after getting into a minor car accident earlier that morning. INSIDE -- The space is very warm and inviting just similar to a Spa. When you enter, you will be greeted by a staff member at the front desk. There are numerous chairs to sit at in the lobby. There is also a water/tea station right at the front as you enter. In addition, you can remove your shoes and jacket at the front entrance. There is also a back entrance as well because the front outside gets congested from parked cars. SERVICES/TREATMENTS -- If you enjoy fitness, then a small gym is available for use before or after a wellness service. Private personal trainers train clients inside this gym so you can book a personal training session. For services, they offer CRYOTHERAPY, INFRARED SAUNAS, SALT THERAPY, NUCALM NEUROSCIENCE THERAPY, MASSAGE & COMPRESSION CHAIRS, WHOLE BODY VIBRATION (a small machine located in the gym), and more new services coming in 2020. Thanks to Yelp and being a Yelp Elite member, I got to try 2 services for free -- the massage chair and the salt cabin. I highly recommend the massage chair because it is zero gravity meaning the chair reclines back plus it really deeply massages the lower and mid-body. The salt cabin treatment felt okay to me because I was just bored inside plus it was really cold in there. However, there are benefits to salt therapy including helping with skin problems, inflammation, and removing mucous from the lungs. SAUNA -- Benefits include relaxation and detoxification. They have 2 sauna rooms. In my most recent visit, I paid for a sauna treatment which is $20 for non-members or 1 credit for members. Basically, 1 credit equals $20. Now $20 may be too expensive for some people but taking care of your body shouldn't come as a price; rather, a reward. Before entering the sauna, a staff member asked if I wanted electrolyte infused water so I gladly accepted a cup. It's important to hydrate before, during, and after entering a sauna to replenish water lost through sweat. I enjoyed the infrared sauna and the heat (135F) didn't bother me. Infact, I wished it was hotter....haha. Before I walked in, a staff member asked me what program I wanted and I believe I choose "detoxification". See my attached photos for a description of their sauna programs. Once inside, I sat then laid down while glancing through a book. There is a remote inside that allows you to adjust the light. The different coloured light settings are supposed to help the body in many ways. After getting out of the sauna, there is a mini-fridge that has a eucalyptus infused towel for cooling off. It felt nice to wrap the small towel around my neck and pat it on my chest. I highly recommend the sauna and massage chair. Visit Reset Lounge today located in quaint Chagrin Falls. Customer service is also wonderful here. Your body will enjoy a "reset" after you come here. **** - 12/200 total reviews in 2020 - 388 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 8 February 2020

The massage chair is amazing as it hits every single part of your body! You are able to relax with an eye mask, music and weighted blanket on you (all provided by the lounge). I then followed this service with nu calm and this is needed for EVERY single person in the world! Haha. The ability it has to shut my brain off and to relax and not think was truly amazing. Facility is clean and welcoming and services have been great BUT, their rules of engagement are not…read morecustomer friendly and when you try to voice your dissatisfaction, instead of them being welcoming, they are anything but. It is almost like the people at the desk have been preconditioned in how they respond when people express their frustration and they are not interested in feedback. RUDE and pissy! I have been a member for years and have brought in multiple friends who have become members. When my family members from out of state visit I always set up appointments for them. They buy extra Svcs, they buy product, we tip well, we are the people you want as customers! When I try to use credits to pay for their services, they charge me a $10 transfer fee. One might ask the question why????? a couple of days ago I tried to schedule massages and facials for myself and a friend who is celebrating a milestone birthday. I wanted to treat her and use a couple of my credits. They wanted to charge me the transfer fee. I expressed my frustration, they didn't care. And then I was told that I couldn't even pay the transfer fee as I had three transfers and had exceeded my allowance for the year. I'm done. The individual with whom I spoke, could not have been more disinterested in my frustration and she just towed the corporate line. They have no idea how they are losing people that they don't lose. They're losing friends and gaining enemies who are not gonna say anything pleasant and instead, will speak disparagingly about them. I just retired after 48 years as a senior executive in a sales position for a large health insurance carrier. I know the drill, I know how you take care of customers. This company is not interested. This was on New Year's Eve and I came from the same direction as her. She said it was due to traffic. I encountered no traffic on my drive. Definitely not 30 minutes worth. 2) I said take off 2 inches and she took off 3-4. Also, and most importantly, my hair is not the same length around. I spent $155 on a cut and color plus a generous tip only to discover a few days later that the left side is longer than the right. She also wasn't very professional but I won't go into that. Do NOT see Gina. Edited*** Now she is texting me at 10:10 at night because she doesn't like my review. And reporting me to Yelp? Lol for what? Telling the truth? Edited again Now Gina has her friends posting reviews for her. I think my pics speak for themselves. And the fact that a stranger who I've met once is harassing me because I left a bad review? That speaks volumes about the amount of class in this salon. I told her I'd take down the review if she refunded me for the price of the haircut (I told her she could keep her 25% tip). She agreed and then changed her mind and has been harassing me since. I had to block her number. Part of doing business is understanding you can't win them all. Some people will be happy and others won't. When you mess up someone's hair, you accept it and move on. Not at this salon. They'll bully you until you remove your review! Not. Going. To. Happen. Edited yet again (1/6/15 at 8:36am) Still getting harassed by dawn and/or Gina. The more they harass me the more I'll keep posting. Why? Because I refuse to be bullied into taking my review down. It's entirely accurate. This is what Yelp was created for. To leave reviews for businesses. I like that they call me a salon hopper like it's an insult. I went to the same salon for 12 years and left because of price gouging. In fact, Gina complained to me that Dino Palmieri wouldn't hire her and how she didn't like the the way they did business (among other things). Lol I'm a salon hopper because I'm looking for a new salon? Okay. Then I'm a salon hopper. This has gone from annoying to amusing. I actually agreed to remove my review if she refunded me the money for the cut. I didn't even ask for my $45 dollar tip back! Just the cost of the cut. She agreed to it and then changed her mind and started texting me at 10:00 at night.
