While I would never describe getting a Brazilian as pleasant, it's certainly bearable, short-lived pain. Cassie is so sweet and super personable. We literally have entire conversations through the whole process. I also spring for the vajacial after each session to get a skin treatment and any needed extractions. I was very nervous to go for my first time but Cassie, I'm sure, has seen a lot in years of doing this. I've never been made to feel uncomfortable about my lady parts lol She's body positive and very professional. Her space is clean and nicely appointed. I visited this salon for a Brazilian wax because it was rated 5 stars here on Yelp, but a 5 star…read moreexperience it was not. It wasn't horrible, but it was definitely not anything special. I will say that Lex was hospitable and fast, the service only took about 30 minutes. However it was disappointing on so many levels, starting with the tacky fake plants outside. The bathroom was cute and clean, but as I walked back to the appointment room there was a bunch of junk stacked by the wall, and the appointment room was brightly lit with uncomfortable paper bedding. I am used to wax spas using nice soft linens. When my wax was over she left the room and did not offer me any sort of wipe to clean up with (as is customary in my experience) and also missed quite a lot of hair in the back. When I met her at the register and told her about this she did offer to go back in and fix it, but I really didn't want to bother with going back into that gross room and undressing again. Typically at a wax spa you would be offered a hand mirror to check before they actually leave the room and have you get dressed again. I was also disturbed by the fact that there wasn't a sink or even hand sanitizer in the room. I can only hope that she was going into the bathroom between clients to wash her hands but who knows! Anyway, definitely would not return. Not for me.

I'm not sure she was a very experienced LMT. her forte appeared to be aesthetics. It wasn't awful but I did have to add more time, I just didn't feel like I received a relaxing enough service. I don't know if it was lack of experience or if she was afraid to touch me, her touch was very light and short. Odd. The extra 30 minutes was better but it was definitely at my expense. I paid for 90 minutes be had a decent 30. I also don't like that the message therapist is the one cashing you out, it feels like a sales experience not spa.

This European Wax is a consistently very mediocre experience. Due to the operations at this store I…read moreprobably won't be going back. It's not an experience that I'd like to repeat. My aesthetician was very pleasant and friendly. But the wax didn't go as it usually does. The wax was too hot. The after cream wasn't applied despite my skin being red. She didn't really check with me on any concerns - such as whether the wax was too hot or if I liked my brows. It was very speedy visit without focus on quality. There was no after work on my eyebrows with twizzers whatsoever. As always after European Wax visit I went over the work with twizzers later. No one asked me whether I liked my eyebrows or experience. Their work is always so minimalistic for being experts in waxing. The waiting room was filled upon my arrival. There were five other clients waiting, none looked pleased. At one point there were not enough chairs in the waiting room to accompany all guests. Few guests asked about their appointments running late, multiple were called to inform them about the news (with no definitive time to arrive). Some disgruntled guest called in. From the conversation it was evident that their discount wasn't applied and will not be honored (for a referral). They also were apparently burned during an appointment. One of the clients walked out with clear wax residue on her leg. I've witnessed so many problems in my short time in the lobby that it was overwhelming. Prices went up and were corrected on the menu. The salon posted new rules everywhere. No client looking for higher end-ish experience wants to be surrounded by so many rules and signs. It's not tasteful or relaxing. Here are all the new rules. There are no pictures allowed on their premises including the lobby or rooms. Guests with kids under 8 years of age must take them back to the room during the appointment. I can't even imagine how this works to be honest. There is also a rule that if you're in the bathroom, this time counts against your grace period. So it's possible that you won't be admitted to your appointment even if you're physically at the location. I practically live at different salons and I have never seen anything as strange. I didn't want to read the rules but they were everywhere! I used to like European Wax because it was a quick get in and out, nice place, but it lost its appeal. Too many problems for less than average appointments. As always, I'm not impressed with European Wax. I'd rather go somewhere else next time.

I honestly debated reviewing my experience, but it's now been a whole day since my wax and I can't…read morestop thinking about how unsatisfied I am with my service. I won't say who my waxer was, but the whole service seemed very rushed & somewhat unprofessional. We started about 10 minutes late, so right off the bat I knew it would be rushed so that she could catch up with her time for her next clients. As far as the unprofessional aspect of my service, my waxer remained in the room while I undressed & dressed before/after the service, which is absolutely unheard of in any field of service. She knew it was my first ever wax, let alone a Brazilian, which is extremely nerve wracking as is. Thankfully, I wasn't too uncomfortable with the fact that she remained in the room while i got undressed, but I definitely know people who would have been very affected by that, especially for their first ever wax. On top of all that, I woke up this morning with basically raw skin on my pubic area. It is extremely irritated and tender to the touch and I'm very upset about it. She did multiple waxes in the same areas, which was needed because of my very coarse hair. Although I know she was trying to help by making sure she got all the hairs, as a professional it is your job to know when to stop/switch things up to ensure your clients safety, whether it's the result they want or not. Lastly, we were supposed to do a test strip before my session because I mentioned I was on acne medication and the front desk said it would be necessary to do that in case i have a bad reaction. Due to the time crunch with my waxer running late, we never did the test strip. Overall, i'm pretty disappointed with my experience and would not recommend to my friends/family.

I made an appointment the day before which was super easy. They patiently explained the differences in pedicure types and service process. I selected Statement Pedicure ($60) with gel add-on and removal ($15). I received luxury add-on free - lip mask. I selected colors from an old school book but screen try-one are also an option. I went with tried and true OPI but other options/brands are available. I love the pedicure area that includes privacy dividers and curtains. If you're doing pedicure solo, you can be separated from other guests. If you're visiting with the group, the curtain can be lifted. It creates a very relaxing experience. I asked for tea (quite a few choices) and my tea magically appeared at my chair when I arrived. The chair rotates to let you easily climb in, has gentle massage and heat. Gel removal starts with cute plastic clip-ons for quicker removal. You are asked about shaping and the number of coats. I liked my nail tech and her preciseness. Plan for a bit extra time (over an hour) if you're planning to take gel off and reapply gel. I feel like other salons have more masks as part of the pedicure service, but I was satisfied here. SERVICE: I'd love to add a few other reasons I love Statement. I recently called in to move up my appointment to an earlier time the day of. They easily switched me which seemed like a miracle. Also, so many little nice device touches here - coat room, complimentary drinks, continuously genuine and very friendly service, and consistent quality. I'll be back very soon for a wax.

I have picture proof in my last review that they didn't do my nails well twice and I made a review about it which is exactly what this platform is for. I was never rude. I was never nasty. I went in there. Got my nails done and tipped well each time. I guess the business saw my honest review and they felt some type of way about it because after seeing it, they've been lying to me and messing with my appointments.. saying I was double booked, telling me to call back multiple times, saying they will call me back and never did and canceling my appointment an hour before and having Chan do it (appointment wasn't even with her) because they know she's sweet. When I went in today to get the acrylic soap off because they have been giving me such a hard time, the guy basically said because I left a bad review on yelp that they didn't want to do my nails anymore . Like I stated, I never gave them a hard time. I only told the truth if you don't want that reviews on yelp then hire people that do their job and do it well. Clearly, it's not just me because they only have two stars on this platform. When I become a customer of somewhere, I usually stay for years and manage to tip well every time. So this is definitely not on me. I will continue to yelp and tell people about places and businesses so they can have a heads up good or bad. No matter how much I gave this business they just so happened to be bad . I'm sure they'll be a comment under my post from the owner saying how sorry they were and how they didn't want to service me because I was unhappy, but that's no reason to turn anyone away, especially in the manner that the manager did it.
