R&S companies completed installation of impact widows and doors at my home on August 10 2021. I want to compliment the team that were instrumental in this installation. First there is Gabby Amuchastegui who started the supervision of the project from the beginning through the end. She showed professionalism throughout, kept us informed, assisted with advice on the choice of materials, design and manufacturers. When the manufacturers delayed the deliveries, she apologized for the manufacturer's delay but continued to keep us in the loop. Her continued supervision included on-site overseeing the installation Jesus (Flaco) Molinet actually did the installation with the help of his assistant Yoeluis (Guajiro) Martinez. I have never seen an artisan more meticulous and as detailed as Jesus (Flaco). He measured everything used his levels constantly to ensure a balanced installation whether windows or doors. He was indefatigable, worked constantly and consistently to produce excellent results. I strongly recommend that you should make all efforts to retain him. His skills are enormous and the product simply excellent. He was always pleasant and kept us up-to-date on the events. Yoeluis was the assistant but worked very with Flaco. He made sure that every need for the smooth continuation of the project was readily available. He teamed very well with Flaco so that the progression of work was smooth. He made sure to leave the work sites clean and minimize the dust There was no lolly-gagging on site yet they were pleasant stopping only to answer any questions which we had. They came with a plan each day and simply stuck to it until completion, . We are very please with the results and would not hesitate to recommend the companies R&S to friends who wish to install impact windows and Doors. Before I made the decision to invest in impact resistant windows and doors I did my research. Not only did I want to make sure I purchased quality materials but it was going to be in my home, so I wanted something both functional yet aesthetically pleasing. After meeting with several representatives of other companies, I chose to do business with Project manager, Alejandro Perez from Companies of R & S. He arrived on time, was very polite and professional. He was very informative in his presentation and had provided details about materials used, and showed me catalogs of beautiful windows and doors-as did the others. Where he differed was when he started explaining several components of the engineering of the product he sold which made it stand out from all of the others. He then asked me to visit the showroom whenever I had time. I took him up on his offer and I was really impressed with the craftsmanship of all I was able to see in the warehouse. That day I signed the contract and handed over the deposit. The order came in within the estimated timeframe on a Friday. Alejandro notified me installation would begin as early as Monday and would take approximately one week to complete. Lead installer, Jorge arrived Monday morning with other workers and started the job. Not only was I happy and thoroughly impressed with how meticulous the windows were installed, but appreciated how they covered up my furniture, put up barriers to contain dust and also cleaned up at the end of each day's work. We are totally satisfied with our window and door replacement project thanks to The Companies of R&S. After years of procrastination, my wife and I recently tackled the daunting task of replacing ALL windows and doors (42 in all) in our 1926 2-story Coral Gables home with CGI Sentinel Series Impact windows and doors. Working with R&S throughout the entire process was a pleasure. R&S skillfully guided us through the planning, design, selection, production, permitting, installation, inspection, and follow-up phases of the work. Their capable and experienced staff was friendly, efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Jim, Carlos, Pancho, Juan Carlos, and Laura all provided an exceptional level of service. Work was carefully scheduled and proceeded in logical phases with minimal disruption and inconvenience to us. Existing furniture and finishes were respected and protected from dust and debris. Daily cleanup inside and outside was a routine event and old windows, doors, and trash were promptly hauled away. Replacing windows and doors in a 90-year old house is a real challenge under current codes and City of Coral Gables requirements, but R&S was able to handle the special conditions and custom details with ease. No problems were encountered and unforeseen issues were quickly resolved to our complete satisfaction without delay or change orders. We are exteremely pleased with the finished product and the professional service provided. I'm a very picky, detailed-oriented individual when it comes to hiring contractors but I must say that R&S did a great job installing all new impact windows and sliding doors in my house. David, the Owner's son, was a pleasure to deal with and came out to my place several times before hiring him to address questions/concerns I had. They provided a competitive/fair estimate, as compared to other bidders. That said, I believe everybody was expensive (some more than others) but I suppose it's due to all these people being very busy nowadays. R&S was very flexible and accommodating with scheduling, signing the contract, and other matters and they were all very professional and courteous throughout. Everyone from David to the gents who did the actual installation work to the woman who assisted me in collecting my payment. There were a couple sliding door handles that were slightly damaged while the work was being performed. The worker tried to fix it by having it repainted but I didn't like it since it lacked the finished/glossy look of the original ones. But they went ahead and reordered new ones (at no additional cost) and came out to install than even though I had already paid them. Outstanding... As one of the largest single expenses in the entire project, I was determined to find the right company to work with. After at least a half dozen serious inquires/site visits to companies including R & S, we chose them. The project was a large scale renovation in Pinecrest that included the replacement and addition of at least 26 French doors, front doors and all windows. Dave D worked with us until we were completely confident that the choices we were making were in line with our expected effect, which included hardware, muttons, color of the glass and much more. After a long search, he found exactly the custom front doors that we wanted. All with a calm demeanor and steadfast commitment to our satisfaction. The construction was in phases, they had the patience to wait and not rush us or the contractor. As we were ready for more doors or windows, they delivered and installed ...with perfection. Renovation is a tough thing in and by itself, however, R & S was simply outstanding in every facet of a large project completed! We would not use anyone else in the future. read more

Gabby and the team from R&S did an outstanding job of installing my new windows and doors during the height of the Covid pandemic in Miami in June 2020. They could not have been cleaner, safer, or more careful. Work was done timely, flawlessly and the team of professionals are extremely nice. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I did a lot of research and running around before choosing R&S and so happy that I did. Everything about this company was excellent from start to finish . Ian was so patient and helpful when I couldn't make a decision regarding the door style ,as were other staff, and the actual installation was perfect A special thank you to Pepi and his partner who did a great job. They had to cut tile and pavers both inside and outside the door and their work was impeccable, plus everything was immaculate when they left. My door was actually supposed to be installed in March when the pandemic hit and Ian called immediately and asked what I wanted to do regarding the installation. As seniors we were not comfortable having anyone in the house at that time and there was no problem delaying the work. I havent done a review before but I had such a good experience with David and R and S that I wanted to share my experience. I sell architectural glass but my company does not supply windows that are impact rated. So I started asking people in the industry who I should reach out to. I contacted about 12 different groups and finally settled with R and S are they were very knowledgable, honest and the price was great. They understood I knew what I wanted and didnt try to upsell me. They took care of the permit process while keeping me informed. Once the windows were ready they had very professional installers that took great care during the install. I did have a problem with the door hardware that I bought but R and S came back out and adjusted them until they worked perfectly. I highly recommend this group. read more

We asked that they assist us with the repair of hinges on 20 year Anderson casement wimdows, One of Windows needed to be Retro fitted and Juan worked diligently to achieve this with us. I purchased my impact windows from another company about 5 years ago. I ended up having a warranty issue that PGT had to take care of. PGT offered R&S as one of the companies that could help me as PGT would cover the cost of the replacement pieces but not the installation and costs associated with it. Laurah from R&S was with me every step of the way in getting PGT to supply the correct panels and tracked everything from beginning to end. She was great to work with and her endless patience is much appreciated. The installers that came were also wonderful. Wow, a company that offers a fair price and delivered on time. That's hard to find in Miami. Their installers were professional and worked tirelessly. Our account rep (Danny) visited the work site every day to make sure everything was being done correctly. He also made sure to proactively communicate at every step of the process (Permitting, Delivery, Installation, Inspection...) A neighbor who saw the work being done stopped by, curious about what company and brand I chose. It turns out the he runs his own impact window company and was regretting not letting me know sooner. Michael was a in=credible resource and availbale to us on our becon call and always willing to come on site to help educate the process of fitting all impact windows and dorrs for our small 10 unit condominium located on MiamiBeach. These guys are amazing. When construction was about to begin on my custom home in Tequesta, my Contractor delivered a final budget that left me gagging for air. One of the larger line items was for windows and sliders, as I wanted Windoor product in the home exclusively. My contractor's bid was not based on a quote from R&S, but another company whom they had previously worked. I had them contact R&S, based on awareness I had of the company when I lived in Miami. I had my windows done last year with this company. The sales man Mike Press was very professional and had a lot of knowledge about the products and about financing. The installers were very professional. The customer service was so amazing. They always answer the phone when you have questions. Today the installer came out to fix an issue with one of the windows. I spoke to Laura Hernandez on the phone many times, and she is also so pleasant. She quickly took care of my concern and sent out an installer to fix the issue with the window. We installed all new hurricane windows and doors a few months ago. Older Coral Gables home which required special care due to most windows being original wooden frames with a lot of decorative moldings. Michael Press, salesman, assured us his team led by Orestes would be careful in working around the existing woodwork while upgrading the frames etc for the new windows. They did an excellent job. Very professional, clean and punctual. Despite a small issue with permit (which Laura in office helped resolve) we were extremely pleased with the work. read more
