Used them to install my impact windows and they are amazing!!!! They answered all my questions.... and I had a lot of them. When the installation occured they were extremely careful to not make a mess. I had a newborn and we were able to sleep there everynight without fear that there was too much dust in the air. I have always heard getting windows installed is very messy and they proved this wrong. Totally recommend them!!! I can't wait to use them to change my doors read more

With so many Impact window installation companies in Miami I definitely recommend all steer clear from Astor Windows! The reason I originally chose them back in June of 2016 was they used PGT, a recognizable impact window company and you can customize each window with its software (Stainless steel option, Low e or not, grids, upgrade to 7/16 glass etc). I did extensive research and decided to go with them. Cons: See below, Contact at Astor unreachable once contract executed for various months, order 4 weeks delayed during hurricane season, require 90% payment (no financing) before one window installed, Contract states not responsible for damages and there were damages, final installation of windows is very dirty and poor. No communication on which days they come out, No assistance with PGT specific warranty issues giving me the tech phone # and its my responsibility. Naomi was my contact there giving the quote, going through contract etc. She was very nice in the beginning and responsive...that is until you get the project going and give them basically 90% of payment BEFORE ONE WINDOW IS INSTALLED!. Yes, it is something like 50% at execution of contract, 40% when the windows arrive and 10% when the work is done. No financing options, card or cash only (where many other companies do have finance options) After already having a customer in the bag with a large sum of money (impact windows are expensive!) Naomi became non existent in various months. It started in July where I've emailed, texted her personal phone, left multiple messages with the office no word for over 3 weeks on the status of my window order. Come to find out she avoided because the window order was delayed and easily out of the contract window. Never reached Naomi for literally the whole month of July but spoke with a manager Carlos who did apologize and admit the window order is delayed...by 4 weeks in the middle of hurricane season! Windows finally become installed in mid September. There was no communication on what days they come and not come. Luckily my wife works from home so wasn't a problem- but was a problem when they didn't show for two straight weekdays with no word and then come on a Saturday at 8 am. We had plans that day so I told them sorry you can't. They damaged two bathroom tiles (one shattered) which no longer exist where the guy said he doesn't have time to find it. Damaged guest bedroom window beneath the window sill, and in my opinion were not careful enough with the exterior paint. See picture attached, almost all windows. Their contract clearly states they are not responsible for all damages, Naomi reinforced that they are careful with everything and are pros- simply not true. Brought it up to Naomi who mentioned she'd have them reinstall bathroom tiles but pointless as tiles no longer exist. They do not clean the windows at all and honestly don't care during installation, so much caulking from the installation and very visible hand prints, silicone on every window. Naomi did come out with an assistant but wasn't satisfactory and could not reach 3 windows. What is the point in buying brand new windows that are so dirty with caulking on the glass and silicone throughout all the edges?! One window had a red blotch needing replaced and Naomi mentioned the PGT tech would take care of the silicone. She did assist at first with the warranty issue but became non existent again for 2 weeks when i decided to follow up and to receive my release of liens which i never received after last payment 2 months ago. I emailed her asking when the tech would come out again (first go around tech removed silicone who said its Astor responsibility as PGT allows silicone and to look like "showroom quality" its the responsibility of Astor). No response for a week, i text her, she said she would follow up, never did and i texted again the following day no responses. A week later I call the office a couple times, Naomi not at office, no manager at office always having to leave a message. I finally call again days later and someone helpful did pickup the phone when I asked for a manager- the office manager Marcela who did get back to me that same day after speaking with Naomi who said they did send out my release of liens days prior. For Naomi why is it so hard to spend one minute letting me know the release of liens have been mailed instead of numerous missed forms of communication? For the warranty Naomi told Marcela that it is my responsibility and not Astor to follow up with any PGT related issues. Wow, no assistance or customer loyalty leaving me with the PGT tech phone number to complete any and all warranty issues- luckily the PGT tech is very helpful and available. I call the tech, turns out the window replacement was damaged and they had to order a new one, the tech mentioned to me he called naomi weeks back and to let me know there is a delay. I never received the call from Naomi. Stay clear, you've been warned. read more

Astor Impact Windows & Doors - Poor installation in my opinion, almost all exteriors of windows needing to be retouched. - Windows Installation Near Me - Miami, Florida

Big mistake going to Astor Windows. I decided to wait and see after hiring another company to write this review. I made my appointment with Carlos Paesano when I was in Miami, in order to replace the 2 windows and sliding door in condo. I only had 2 weeks in Miami before going back to New York/Pennsylvania. After he gave me a quote and I called back to hire them I would get the receptionist who told me he'd call back. Well this went on for 3 days back and fourth, with Mr Paesano never calling me back or returning my calls Well I guess he was not interested in my $8500 so I proceeded to go to other places. I ended up going to M & A Windows up in Broward Co who not only did an excellent job, they were $800 less than Astor Windows,. Astor Windows was unprofessional by not calling me back after the quote they gave me, or returnig my calls. read more

Very disappointing and frustrating company to work with! My home was burglarized and I was ready to sign an order for Impact Windows ($50,000-&100,000 job) I couldn't get project manager SH to come out, he said another project manager V would handle my job. V called saying he was busy and would call back, he NEVER DID, hours later someone else called and said that since I was working with another project manager he couldn't help me. If this is what it's like in the sales process when I'm trying to give them an order I wouldn't want to even consider dealing with this company. Obviously the owner of the company is not involved or just doesn't care about his company's reputation! Find another window company FAST! Carlos I fixed my broken doors 2 weeks ago, I wanted to order IMPACT WINDOWS & Doors from your company but again you failed! Even your comments to my review are NOT FACTUAL! read more

Horrible company. Had windows installed a few years ago. At the time they completely destroyed all of the stucco around the rough openings and refused to repair it after the installation. We were never warned about this. About half of the windows did not work properly after installation. Now some of them won't even stay open. Called this morning and was told,"it's after the warrantee period and we don't provide that service, even if you did want to pay." I have NEVER heard of that kind of "who gives a crap" attitude from a company before. Zero customer service, bad company. read more

I am very disappointed in this company I have been waiting for almost a month to get my estimate I was assured by a representative Marcella that someone would get back to me just last week I spoke with her for the third time and she assured me that Ms. Naomi would have it sent to me by COB Friday well guess what it never came I even sent pictures of my glass doors to give an idea of what i was looking for, this company gets an F- from me if someone out there knows of a reliable company that can replace my windows I would appreciate it I'm also going to send "Angies List" to take them off their website I had to rate it a star otherwise I could not post my review and that one was to much. I had my windows and doors replaced by Astor a few months ago. After comparing a few options, I decided to choose Astor. I could not be happier. They were very professional and knowledge from the beginning. The installers were great. They were not cheapest option. But, you get what you pay for. It was very good experience. Many thanks to the entire team. Would definitely recommend this to a friend! read more

We hired Astor Windows for one of my homes in Coral Gables. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used their services in the past. The whole process was smooth, clear and carried out without bumps. Our project manager was Victor. He is very professional, attentive and communicative. He guided us from day one and was always available for any questions. He was also there at installation day to assure everything was going fine. Everyone at Astor Windows: THANKS! We will definitively use them again for our other homes. read more

Excellent customer service! The salesman Carlos Ramon took the time to explain to me the different windows options and prices. No rush, no pushing to get the sale done! I originally was looking for regular windows because we have storm panels at our house, but then I decided to get impact windows for the whole house. He was patient and attentive, friendly and very professional. He gave me several estimates according to different glass types, and models. I am very satisfied with his service! read more

Used them to purchase windows for shipment out of the country. Order arrived and was not correct. Asked for a price correction because I paid for items that were not delivered. At first they said they would work out something, now they won't even return my emails. So basically the have ripped me off. I just asked to be refunded for not getting what I ordered. The no replies to my emails are completely unreasonable. If you are looking for customer service, don't look at this company. read more

I am a general contractor and developer specialized in building high-end residential homes. I have used Astor Windows in 9 residential projects to date. I think it is time for me to drop a note describing my experience. I am very happy with the Astor team. From the design all the way through the installation of the project, the Astor team has demonstrated both professionalism and accountability. Our projects are technically and aesthetically demanding, and Astor Windows has always risen to the challenge. We value the fact that they also have their own metalworking shop which gives them the capabilities to not only do the glazing for us, but also the steel structures. So far, I have no complaints. When we have had issues arise along the way, they have always presented a satisfactory solution. My overall feedback is that they know what they are doing and that they do care about their clients. I highly recommend Astor Windows for the high quality work they provide. read more

We hired Astor install windows and doors in our Condo. This was one of the few companies that actually had a showroom with samples of the different window/door manufacturers that they carried. I contacted at least 5 different companies before choosing Astor. When our salesman left the company the owner stepped in to seamlessly complete the project. We are happy with both the product we chose, PGT, and the installation. read more
