Timely communication: A good contractor respects and values a customer's time and will respond to your requests and questions in a timely manner. The average response of a good contractor should take no more than 24 hours. But be realistic, if they take 28 hours-you can let that slide.
Signs of a good contractor which are not.
Happy to sign and provide: Whether you are asking to see their license, reviews or a written contract, a good contractor will be happy and willing to provide. If you suspect hesitation, or the contractor seems to keep putting it off, it could be a red flag that others have had less than a great experience. You need to reconsider before you make a commitment.
